Had roaches and bathrooms leak. Disappointed as soon as we got there to find out swimming pool that was indoors only was open in summer months.

The place is a dump! In the 1st room, shoes stuck to the floor, bugs in the bathroom, awful chemical smell and air/heat unit didn’t work. 2nd room improved, but 1 set of towels stained linens. Floor sticky in spots. Good thing I brought my Lysol!!!!! I felt bad for the clerk. Addendum…. The smoke alarm in the room was held together with electrical tape and junk dresser and desk with no chair. the lobby was far from warm and welcoming. The outlets for the breakfast bar didn’t work so we warmed our bagels on the waffle maker and there were no tables and chairs to sit on. The carpet on the steps was well worn with tears. One positive, the beds were comfortable. Wyndham you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!

Guy at the front desk was very helpful when there was an issue with our reservation we booked through Expedia. Room was disgusting!!! Window wide open, no screen in it. Air was not on or running, had to mess with the unit a little bit to get it to turn on but then we weren’t able to turn the temperature down…. We were able to be moved to a different room so that was one plus

The room we had was 172 things were broken, mainly the bathroom door, and exposed drywall on the ceiling in there. The next morning as we were getting dressed to leave I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom. The rooms are small, but the water pressure and temperature was nice, the beds were comfortable & I didn't hear a lot of noise to be a weekend. If not for the bus and disrepair in the room it would've been ok. The front desk staff was nice.

My husband and I stayed in this motel overnight and it was not what we thought it would be we would go to walk outside and when walked out of the room you could smell the weed it was so bad the bathroom was so bad we wouldn't take a shower in there. The location was great to get to. My husband has a service dog and we have never been asked to show paperwork on her before till then as for the breakfast there was not much to it, it was coffee and bread and cereal and waffle maker and that was it. Now I did say something to the front desk about the weed smell and they said they knew about it and they talked to the people about it last night but I still smelled it this morning.

The only reason you guys are getting 5 stars, is because of what we found under our mattress upon arriving in our room after a 14 hour day on the road. There was weed under our mattress, and being from Colorado this was lovely. At first we thought this was crack but upon inspection it was not🍃 I can’t make this up- we’ve never found anything under mattresses when checking our hotel rooms before, but boy was this a treat. We were respectful and didn’t smoke this in or on your facility, but this is something the owner needs to be aware of. Your employees aren’t cleaning the rooms obviously. Michelle at the desk was beyond helpful and got us a room booked in 2 minutes, since it was 12 am and we were so tired. She’s a sweetheart! Other than that, there were roaches in the room and bathroom, blood on the mattress, towels were dirty w hair on them from other people. All the reviews here are pretty accurate lol. We got the rest we needed and front desk was accommodating.

*Spend the extra money and/or drive a little further to another hotel before ever stopping here* Every review is accurate. Little to no cleaning is happening. Stains on all linens. Bugs in rooms. Loud guests. Groups of people sitting all around in and outside the hotel as if you're staying in a drug-run place. Rooms smell of smoke, which isn't an issue to me, aside from the fact this is a smoke free hotel and I hope to not be charged any extra fees for that. Hopefully they can do what's needed to get this place in acceptable shape, but as it stands now it should not be allowed to be open.

For it to be part of a well know hotel chain,I thought Days Inn by Wyndham hotels would be a good hotel it wasn't. It was nasty, disgusting, windows boarded up & no locks on the 2 entry doors, bugs in the light fixture,my bed spread had stains on it & other things. The total of the hotel bill was 75.00 dollars which was a lot for what this hotel looked & smelled like. The upper management needs to come & check this hotel out.

Was very happy with my stay here. Friendly service, in the pouring rain and in a thunderstorm, they offered my mom and I their last room.

Will not be coming back here. I stay in America’s Best all over the country. This is the worst I’ve seen. Clerk was very rude while checking in. Carpet dirty . Chairs upholstery dirty . Bed cover old with cigarette burns all in it. Towels dirty and holes in them. And bonus roach in bathroom. The one star I guess is big truck parking.

Among checking in on 2/14/2020. I ask the front desk clerk did they have bed bugs he said no. I ask him did they have roaches he said no a lie. When I got in the room check the bathroom the first thing I saw was three roaches went to the front desk they gave me some roach spray. Really I didn't pay for two nights to spray for bugs. After seen the roaches I couldn't sleep at all. Towels looked dirty they wasn't white at all. Bad choices I will never stay here again

Possibly the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I would have taken the hit on the reservation but it had been a long driving day and there was a thunderstorm so I decided to stay. Entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, mold, and mildew. There were cockroaches all over the place. The bed sheets seemed clean but that's about it. There was a mystery substance across the wall. The toilets were gross. Tap water tasted like mildew, bring bottled water to brush your teeth and drink. There was no hot water. Cops were circling the parking lot, not sure if that made me feel better or worse. Other guests clearly on drugs and talking to themselves. This hotel should probably just be torn down.

There was mold, it reeked, paint was peeling, and the bed has a burnt mark. I'm sleeping in my moms car before we go into there.

Locations great right off highway 64 and rt 157, plenty of restaurants taco, dq, dominos, mcds, cracker barrel all walking distance, rooms are partially remodeled during stay still needs updated on bathroom door looked like it was kicked in and shower rod clearly ripped down out of the wall, and redrywalled poorly and there's evidence of repairs, room doors aren't noise proof clearly hear kids in other rooms and dogs constantly barking, breakfast was really just cereal and a sad waffle maker, they do have pool during summer and the beds are at least comfortable enough to get some rest if you don't stay up watching TV. Lol.

Close to the highway. Only good thing I can say. People were handing things in and out of first floor room windows... The lobby smelled, interesting. The room was supposed to be non smoking. We found an ash tray hidden under the mattress while checking for bed bugs. Room smelled like an ash tray. Roaches everywhere. Mouse poop in the dresser. They did leave us some chicken nuggets in the freezer. They also left us someone's hair conditioner trash under the bed with the ash tray.... Just could not handle it. They switched out the room. The new room was clearly smoked in, as it also had an ashtray in plain sight. Bathroom door was broken/rotted. Toilet seat was broken, lid on the floor. Shampoo was open, so it had definitely been used. There were hairs all over all surfaces of the bathroom. The microwave was rusting out. Smoke alarms in both rooms were removed. They have what looks like a "working" camera right outside the window... Be careful where you park. Woke up to an over turned car just a ways behind our trailer. It overturned from the off ramp off the highway. They do have a continental breakfast. Definitely would not stay there ever again.

To sum it up, this place is disgusting. My room bathroom was dirty, there was cigarette ashes on my bed sheet, there were roaches crawling all over my room, and the place is just raggedy and busted. I will never stay at another Days Inn after this experience. 0/10. I have video recordings of the roaches, they were in the shower/tub, on the walls, and on the floors. I booked for 3 days and checked in at 11pm but ended up checking out 2.5 days early (4am). This place is trash. The only positive thing about this place is that the management personnel are pretty nice and didn't object to my refund request. I seriously don't understand how they let this place get so bad. It's plain awful. Spend the extra $30/night and go somewhere else, you'll appreciate it.

Group of 7 guys driving back from Colorado looking to stay there for a night. Got in at midnight, and we were gone by 12:45am. If 7 teenagers can’t stay there, don’t trust your family there.

I stayed here on my trip across country and of the 3 hotels this was probably the worst, but it also wasn't the worst it could have been. It made me nervous that people were running around in the parking lot all night partying and sitting near the back of my car and using it to hold their drinks. Also kids were screaming and making noise until like 2 am up and down the hallways. There was also no toilet paper in the room and such. Anyways. I still got some sleep and everything was okay with my belongings and my car.

The room had ceiling tile was not set in place when you came in the room. Their was a musty odor had to get the key card recode. Their was no trash can or clock or even a coffee pot.The hallway smelled like stink weed. I guess for 55.00 a night we got what we paid for.

Absolute worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in! I get that construction is going on but the entire place is disgusting. Not one soda or beverage in the soda machine, bath towels the size of hand towels, the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed water everywhere, shampoo no conditioner, no hair dryer, even the crappiest of road side motels have hair dryers. Breakfast in the lobby is a joke not one beverage to be had and no soda in the machine. They expect you to eat while drinking sink water? No sugar for the coffee. The carpets pulled up everywhere it stinks. If I could give it no stars I would well never be back!! Do better!!

This place is awful the smell of pot when you walk in to register will knock you down and all in all it is a nasty hotel that i will never stay in again and i am not even gonna think about eating the breakfast they supply for the guests. There is a crackerbarrel right next to the hotel that is the only good thing.

I love staying at this inn... I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 24 and we have a 7 year old son. Our son lives with me at my dad/grandma's house and my dad doesnt like my boyfriend whatsoever so he doesnt like him to be around much ESPECIALLY not staying the night EVER. So occasionally when I get a decent enough check and I get to spend an awesome night of quality family time and i cherish those memories.

Our stay was horrible! Couple of questions because I’m curious first question, Do you have housekeeper’s? If you do then you need to obviously go behind them a re inspect rooms once they’re done! Our room wasn’t accommodating at all! We actually woke up in the middle of the night with only getting 2 hours of sleep to check out because the smell of cigarettes was over powering! The cleanliness of your hotel inside and out needs some serious attention. I honestly wish that we looked at the reviews first before booking. Lesson learned!

This hotel has a new owner, and is trying to clean up and fix the problems. The first room smelled of smoke, but the second room was clean. It had good carpet. The breakfast is fair, and could be better.

Rooms were dirty. Smells like smoke through whole motel in and out of rooms and non-smoking rooms. Cigarette butt in floor of hallway. The bathroom door knob is complete broke . No milk for breakfast or syrup for breakfast. Waffles mix was bad. Couldn't even have the breakfast no options that we were to get. Had to ask for the fridge and microwave in the room. Got fridge had to have for medical reason never got microwave.

This place should not be open for business. Apparently they had pipes burst during the winter, repairs and proper cleaning not done. First room had a large hole in wall, mold on shower head, no smoke detector. Was shown 4 other rooms, all had mold in bathrooms, not just a bit, but halfway up the wall. Not only on shower walls, but on back of doors. I do believe the pics on the site were photo shopped. Rooms not even close to what the pics are. Very dirty, unsanitary, and unsafe.

Come to the STL area semi often just need a cheap place to sleep nothing fancy (which it is that). This is nice area right off the eway and places to eat right next door ( Cracker Barrel, DQ, Hardee's, McD"s and IAA Auctions) and 10 mins from STL. Stayed at the Motel 6 next store before but figure try this as might be better. I stayed here a few times. Only cause the price and I just was going to come and sleep. Place was $73 after fees was cheaper to use thier site. The lobby is in the back and is it not marked as such. So had to guess. Lobby stunk. They have full time residents living thier who and front desk personal family / freinds hang out up front. It can get loud at night with the staffs vistors talking loudly at the front desk even if you come to the lobby at 10-11pm and remind them to keep it down The side doors don't lock at night. Anyone can walk in at night as that is an issue at the other place (Motel 6) . Very unsafe. Then the entrance ( center mainly) door slams LOUDLY ALL NIGHT when shutting. Alerted them many times. Hard to sleep with that ! Dead of night you hear slam, slam then minutes later slam. Room was ok. Light switches in the room none work they know it. You have to walk in the dark to the lamps on the bed. Beds were clean. Had usb ports in the lamp between the beds. Had coffee machine with packages to brew. Also had mini shampoo bottles. TV worked and internet was decent. Ice machine worked. Pop machine next to it. The bathroom door wouldn't close. It was a hinge pin missing and the screws to hold the hinges were coming out. Someone else mentioned this in a review months ago must be the same room. The toliet seat was loose. My heater was making loud noices so in the middle of the night I had to service it. Turns out they never clean off the reusable filters. It was clogged aka fire hazzard. I showed staff this but he didn't even want to go in the room or see the issue. I said it takes 2-4 minutes of that no tools and every room should be checked. Some type of goo was underneath the overflow drain from the bath tub. The water came out SCOULDING HOT. A kid could litterally give themself a 1st or 2nd degree burn . I told them about that. Blew me off. The mini closet was missing the baseboard which was hanging over the coat rack. Place never quiets down till 11pm. I see people having thier kids run in the hallways late at night, dogs running loosely, one dog even used the lobby floor late at night as was let loose for a while. Then had an issue with an excessive amount of noice from family moving around and kids playing. Around 11pm I banged on the ceiling to get them to stop. Lasted till 1:30 am dispite multiple trips to the front desk and a call to corp. I asked for another room which my request was ignore. I was so tired after I drove 4 hours to get in the area. Then much later in the evenimg after doing my St Louis business I drove back on 4 hours of bad sleep. The front desk in the am did nothing. They blamed me for not asking for another room after writing corp. So in many weeks nothing was resolved nor followed up with a call ect. Not even 10% of coupon or really just a sorry call or email. They really don't care ! No customer service or maintance on the place. Between this or the Motel 6 with leaking windows that let all the ( wind/ expressway) noise in, side doors that don't lock also( this anyone can get in at night) , dirty rooms especially under beds, and all the doors slaming very loudly all night when closing automatically also not sure which is better. I do like the area though. I tried the Super 8 a few miles down the street inTroy, Il as another guest suggested. He said his work normally puts them up thier. Night and day diffence. Nice open lobby. Very decent big breakfest with big tables to sit at, pool, hot tub, very clean rooms, nice BBQ place next door, easy to get on and off e way. $100 though but lot a safer. Lot quieter too. Seems like a more normal cliental then the sketchy people here.

The first room I went into had a dirty tub, pieces of the bathroom wall missing, hole in the area that has the toilet paper holder, and what looked like blood stains on the shower curtain. I took pictures and immediately went back downstairs and informed them of what the room was like and showed them the pictures I took. Ms. Cookie (she was great) grabbed a few other room keys, and we headed back upstairs to a new room. The next room had a cut out ceiling tile covering a hole that the bathroom doorknob was attached over. The following room had a strange smell of what seemed like mildew, which she promptly had us leave. The one after that had the heater running and felt like a sauna when we walked in. Final one had a filthy tub, which was still dirty after I had them clean it (thank goodness for shower shoes), and I had to have them replace the mangled looking toilet seat. Again, Ms. Cookie was super nice and assisted however she could, but the person running that place needs a visit from Undercover Boss!

Hotel was convenient to Cahokia Mounds State Park and room was fairly large, however, the entire 1st floor smelled terrible, including my room. The smell was still lingering in my runny sinuses the next day. The bed was fine, as were the TV channels, however the internet was terrible and there was no alarm clock. The hallway had a dirty carpet and was littered with some trash. The breakfast was barely existent. This hotel is located in a hotel Mecca. I don't know if the others are better, but they can't be much worse.

This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at in my 45 years of existence. There was blood spray from syringes on literally every wall, the AC was full of dead bugs, not a few buy a layer. There was brown shiney stuff dripping down the walls. The bathroom door was just two panels with no wood in between and looked like a hole punched in it and more blood and the back side was mold either water damaged or urine soaked from a pet being locked in there. The bathtub caulking was dark brown a goopy. The blankets and pillows were very stained the bed springs were broken. The whole hotel was filthy. Definitely people smoking weed and cigarettes. Fights and yelling from the guests. They still owe me $130 but the "manager" is never in and never calls back in order for me to get my refund. I didn't see any live bugs and the pool looked small but ok. I didn't go in it though. I was afraid to touch anything. Lamps were nice and new but had no light bulbs in them. Any 5 star reviews are lies, probably made by the staff or drug addicts they give free rooms to.

🪳 🪳 NO ONE SHOULD STAY HERE EVER. I didn’t even stay in The room because I am allergic to roaches. When I walked in there were 8-10 that scattered. They will not issue a refund despite not even being there 5 min. I have reported them to the county health department and the BBB. This place is legitimately unhealthy and disgusting. They have so many health code violations that they should be shut down. See videos, please do not patronize this place

Awful hotel, booked on priceline. We could noy get a refund. Had to switch rooms twice before finally just having them bring us clean sheets and pillowcases to our third room. There was hair and all kinds of crumbs, spots of blood in the sheets. Cockroachs galore. People running back and forth through the halls yelling and carrying on at 3 am. Will never stay there again. Don't waste your money.

Decent property, but the best thing about this place was the awesome dude who was working the front desk. He said he was pretty new there, but was kind and absolutely accommodating. There were some homeless people hanging out across the parking lot on and off...not sure what was going on at the moment. Adjacent to Cracker Barrel, if you're a fan. Thanks front desk guy, sorry I forgot your name, but Jupiter and I appreciate you!

Do you like the overpowering smell of ammonia? How about dark shadowy hallways smelling of skunk weed? Do you appreciate cracked tile, holes in walls or dirty sheets on the bed? Maybe your taste includes rusted dirty showers or smoke smelling rooms in a non-smoking room? Then you have found the motel for you. And do not worry about being lonely or lacking for entertainment; there are plenty of hookers and drug dealers in the parking lot.

Absolutely disgusting and horrifying stay I booked a room for the night because I had no where else to stay for the night when I first got in my room there were no pillows, the bathroom was dirty, and there was trash in the trash can. I just got pillows n went to bed when I woke up at about 345am to go to the bathroom I found my room had ROACHES!!!! This was absolutely horrifying I jumped on the bed and sat on it while I let my s/o try to sleep we didn't have anywhere else to go n changing rooms wouldn't have made a difference but I didn't move from my spot until he woke up I proceeded then to tell the front desk about this problem and they refuse to give me a refund because I didn't notify them as soon as I found the bugs.....it was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional!!! And then when we got to our actual location I had to wash everything we had with us in super hot water because we discovered we are covered in bites so now not only did they have ROACHES! They seem to have bed bugs as well or some form of insect the bit us in our sleep this is absolutely horrifying and I am appalled they are refusing to give me a refund I will take further actions if necessary this place needs shut down disgusting horrible and down right trash

I’m surprised at all the negative reviews. It was clean and calm. It’s located immediately off the interstate. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, with microwave and refrigerator. Coffee being available at all times in the lobby was great. The breakfast was alright. My only selfish wish is that it would have contained a protein, even something like a few hard-boiled eggs would have been nice. There were a lot of options but all were high-starch and sugary carbohydrates.

We checked in to the hotel and was greeted by a very pleasant woman who made us feel very comfortable. We went to the room and walked in and there was no bathroom door, so I walked back to the front and asked for a different room and explained why and again she was amazing. Even though they were remodeling there is no communication between staff

The hotel is under renevation, this is forgivable however the first eoom we were given the door handle on the inside fell off. The second room we were moved to the AC fan doesnt work well and a cockroach was found crawling by our lab. The blankets had cigerett burns though the room is suppose to be non smoking. The curtains are tattered and furniture is wobbly. The T.V. Remote doesn't even connect to the T.V. We had a third room change because they dont do refunds. The only redeeming quality thus far is the friendliness of the staff. Only stay as last resort. Will never come back, and you better believe that the BBB will be hearing about this.

The couch... Cushion backwards and broken. Burns in chair.

I wouldn't take a barn full of animals there. Extremely filthy inside and out. The room obviously hadn't seen a housekeeper in decades. The only thing good about my stay was the comfortable beds. The staff wasn't very friendly. The place should be shut down and demolished. Their idea of breakfast was cold cereal, bananas, and a waffle iron that didn't work. I will sleep in my car rather than darken their doorstep in the future.

I would definitely no star this place! It’s nasty! No way the past health code, I’m super surprised the doors are still open. Would not recommend at all.

Not a bad place for the price as long as you're not too picky The staff has always been friendly And helpful I actually stay There often Because it's a cheaper place And usually have no problem getting a room even in the later hours of the evening after working..

There were no towels in the room. The bed was disgusting and the sheets and blankets had holes in it.

😠 The whole building was disgusting. Trash was all along the hallways, everything smelled like cigarettes. They had soiled sheets and towels, wouldn’t provide us clean ones. Roaches in the room, wouldn’t do anything for us. Couldn’t understand anyone DO NOT STAY HERE
