Honestly, this may be one of Lincoln's best kept secrets. I could tell that many of the patrons were local regulars...and the waitresses made us feel like we were too! Hours are breakfast and lunch, so check before you go. I can't wait to go back for a burger. Today, we both ordered the chicken fried steak. I had my eggs sunny side up and they were perfect. They offered home fries or hash browns and a selection of toasts. The CFS tasted homemade. Every bite was hot and crunchy. Woodees is a smaller gem, but we walked in and seated ourselves. Service was fast, friendly, and affordable. I loved this place so much that I bought a shirt and tipped 50%.

Stopped in for breakfast and what a great find. Cute little diner. Very pleased with the food. The service on the other hand was awful. Waited 20 minutes to order as the waitress was visiting with other tables. Waited for a box and check while she flossed her teeth right behind the counter in front of people eating. Would definitely go back for the food.

This place was awesome! A very affordable menu even with the price increase, which they are very up front and honest about. The staff is very friendly and talkative which was awesome. And the food? Fantastic! Probably one of my favorite breakfast meals I've had in Lincoln. I ordered the Morning Woodie and while it was very greasey, boy was it tasty. Filled me up so much I didn't even eat lunch! Home fries were good too. Will definitely be back!

The food was just ok. I ordered eggs and bacon. The bacon tasted and looked like it was cooked two days earlier, definitely not fresh. The eggs were cooked to perfection. I ordered pancakes instead of toast, they were very dry and came with small syrup packets. For the price I paid I expected better, including the syrup.

Small cafe, big taste! We have dined here plenty of times, and I highly recommend their 'Morning Woodee' sandwich. This place can fill up fast so you may have to wait a bit for a table, but good things come to those who wait! Be sure to come hungry!

Stopped in for breakfast while on a road trip and this place was worth the stop and I am glad we found it. They even have a cool map by the restroom for you to pin where you are from and you can see where other people have been traveling from when they stopped in. The food and staff were great and I highly recommend to anyone passing by and wanting breakfast.

We were driving through Nebraska on I-80, and I was looking for a breakfast place for our family to stop at. Was a great choice! Definitely seems like a locals spot! Although it was a small dining area, we got a table right away. The kids had pancakes, bacon/sausage, and eggs, I had an omelet, and my husband had one of the specials. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. Everything was fresh and cooked well. I was impressed by the amount of fresh green peppers and tomatoes in the Western omelet. The servers were friendly and checked in here and there, although they were quite busy! It was also easy to hop back on the interstate afterwards. I only wish we had a breakfast place like this in our town!

Loved this place. Made me feel warm n cozy. Brought me coffee water right away, Food was tasty and plenty of it. Prices were very reasonable I thought. Nicest people. Pushed my pin in their map to show where I was traveling from. Nebraska has my kind of peeps falling in love with this state. Bless guys.

I had them at Corned beef to my omelets since I don't eat pork. Best omelets of my life! Chicken fried steak was also amazing! Already planning next trip to Lincoln to eat here!

This place is your comfort food destination. I had the chicken fried steak, and i would put it up with any that i have had in Lincoln. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. 10 out of ten; I will certainly be back!

Nice little local Cafe, food was great, we had Chicken fried steak and Biscuit and gravey. Service was very slow, only one other table being used, our coffee cups were empty and we had ask for a refill. We were there at 10:30 am. On a Monday. Next time in Lincoln we'll go back because of the good food.

Well had a long wait on Sunday, took care of us, we had a big party of people. Great staff. I also got some pretty good food.. but if you go don't pay with your card, take cash. They added $3.31 on my card on top of $13.35 total of $16.66, so they added a tip themselves. so if you make the journey there, take cash. I think the customer should be aware, if automatic tips are gonna be added.

I wasn’t able to stay here. It would seem to be a very popular place. It was, for there was a was a line. So I wasn’t. I’m not able to give us their assessment to this location which is why I only give it one Starbucks from what I can tell. It seems like a very good place to eat. People seem to enjoy it while we were waiting in line and I will definitely want to go back to try it out.

We always love Woodees for breakfast. Fun 60s-70s diner atmosphete, homey, nice staff. Good food.

We was there Wednesday and has the fried chicken dinner! It was awesome and the gravy was delicious as well as the chicken was nice and moist and delicious. Great place to eat and very friendly waitresses.

Very good home type cooking, home cooked gravy, in house made biscuits. The staff makes you feel like family. The cook comes out to ask how the food was. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

This place was horrible, we went on lunch break and they were so short staffed the cook was helping the tables. It doesnt matter to me who helps me but, they served my drink to the wrong table then me once they realized the mistake. The chicken strips and french fries were so bad my kids wouldn't even eat them when I brought them home. I have given them a few tries and this was definitely my last. I am sad that I recommended we went there.

We go at least twice a month or more, the wait staff are very good at there jobs, there maybe a little wait around lunchtime but that should tell you something about the service and the grub. Also they serve breakfast all day 🤌. Very nice little diner with some great people inside!

I was in Lincoln for work and needed to find a great breakfast spot for my time there. I went to Woodees one day and it became my go to! The service is excellent and the food is great also consistent which is hard to find. The French Toast is hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Amazing stopped by before leaving town for the day was busy, but food was fantastic great tasting. Had the Italian stallion omelet I'd suggest it! :) Great pricing. Thanks for the great service, all the staff was very friendly & polite! Keep up the great work!

Great food and great service. The food took a little long to come out, but it was worth the wait. This isn’t a quick brunch place, so don’t expect fast. It’s a nice relaxing sit down restaurant. Also very affordable. 5 adults and 1 child ate for under $60.
