Had availed their service since moving to Redmond, and the treatment has been ok. Main concern is with billing: had an extra charge for item not covered by insurance that was never asked or cleared before using for treatment. The billing is always more than expected and even though insurance says diagnostic/preventative covered fully, ended up paying extra. When i asked why - initially just asked me to call and ask the insurance when they could have at least explained the discrepancy. The interactions with the front desk leave much to be desired. I will be moving on to a different provider, and from some of the reviews posted before --> this is not the 1st time something like this has happened. I wish them well, but the whole experience has left me with a bad taste.

Awesome front desk (Brynn) and hygienists (Carli), but Dr. Kale Eckland is often away on conferences and vacations. I am frequently seen by visiting doctors or get a quick visit with Kale when he's around, which is not the level of service I expect. It feels like every single visit results in a consultation referral to a questionable specialist. I once saw visiting Dr. "Nick" who offered sleep apnea treatments at his Bellevue office. I took him up on the offer last year. 10 months pass and I just got a $1,000 bill after his office confirmed my out-of-pocket would be $0. I'm simply over Eckland's questionable network and consistent referrals. I will instead see my well-qualified dentist and visit family in NY. There truly is a difference between East Coast and West Coast medicine. Sorry, but this has put me over the top.

Dr. Eckland has always been a stellar professional who's taken great care to offer quality dentistry. The entire staff is pleasant and professional, yet personable, so I can't recommend them enough. I've been coming here for roughly 15 years and they've always taken great care of me! Emma is a fantastic hygienist who's thorough in her work and pleasantly brief in her explanations. If you're looking for a new dentist, now you're done! :)

I had the best dental experience ever! Impressed with my teeth cleaning. Very thorough, and probably the best cleaning I have ever had. And Dr. Colby Eckland was exceptional. Very personable, knowledgeable, and I appreciated the extra time to explain my X-rays and photos. And not to forget the office staff. Very helpful in arranging my appointment, and providing me with necessary info. All in all, an amazing first time visit to your office. I’m so excited to have a new dentist.

I've been going to Eckland Family Dentistry for more than a few years. They are professional, friendly and offer the best experience I've had in a dentists office. My hygienist Emma was also great. She is friendly, quick and has a light touch. Highly recommend it.

I would not recommend this place. The front desk staff was extremely unprofessional and lacked basic knowledge about insurance. She overcharged me by several hundred dollars and yelled at me for half an hour before realizing her mistake. It was a highly unpleasant experience. In addition, this dentistry is supposed to be in-network with my insurance company, but they didn't follow the contract. Instead, they insisted on charging me more than the amount agreed upon with the insurance company.

I highly recommend Dr. Eckland. Hands down, one of the best experiences I've had at a dental office and it starts with the front office staff and continues with each team member. The hygienist, Emma, was gentle and thorough. The office is warm and inviting and very clean. They have the latest technology and the dentist is highly knowledgeable in the latest advances in modern dentistry. But what's also very important is his philosophy of conservative dentistry, which I appreciate. I highly recommend this dentist if you're looking for a dentist.
