Almost
as
good
as
NYC
dim
sum.
I've
really
struggled
to
find
some
good
dim
sum
outside
of
NYC
-
especially
places
that
have
the
rare
steamed
lotus
seed
bun.
This
place
has
it
and
the
dishes
we
tried
were
solid,
with
the
minor
caveat
that
food
here
seems
the
tiniest
bit
underflavored
-
a
bit
undersalted
and
undersweet.
But
I
still
liked
it.
Major
bonus
points
for
affordability,
and
they
accept
credit
cards.
In
my
experience
-
I'd
say
this
place
is
B+
to
A-
tier;
NYC
dim
sum
is
between
B+
and
A;
Hong
Kong's
good
places
are
A
to
A+.
Dim
sum
dishes
ordered:
—
Ha
gow
(shrimp
dumplings)
-
Yum.
Shrimp
is
not
as
sweet
and
flavorful
as
in
Hong
Kong
which
is
a
high
bar,
but
it
was
still
tasty.
— Shrimp
cherng
fun
(steamed
rice
roll)
-
Very
impressed
with
freshness
of
noodles.
Wish
shrimp
was
larger
as
that'd
be
sweeter.
Sauce
needs
to
be
sweeter.
—
Beef
cherng
fun
(steamed
beef
rice
roll)
-
Very
impressed
with
freshness
of
noodles!
Char
siu
in
it
was
good.
Like
the
shrimp
one,
sauce
needs
to
be
sweeter.
—
BBQ
Pork
buns
-Solid
for
a
fix.
Fluffy
and
sweet
bun,
but
wasn't
the
best
filling.
Not
a
very
strong
taste.
—
Steamed
Lotus
Seed
Buns
-
Real
lotus
seed,
but
wasn't
sweet
enough
—
Pan
fried
shrimp
cakes
-
best
dish
of
the
ones
I
tried
here!
Surprisingly
tasty.
—
Sesame
balls
with
lotus
seed
paste
-
skip
next
time;
dough
was
chewy
and
delicious
but
too
thick,
and
there
wasn't
much
paste.
Go
with
Mee
Sum
Pastry's
instead.
This
place
also
has
the
real
authentic
dishes
like
chicken
feet,
which
I
don't
like
to
eat,
but
other
tables
got
them
and
it
looked
fresh.
Honestly
it
seemed
like
most
dishes
you
get
here
would
be
solid.
I
didn't
hate
anything
(unlike
Din
Tai
Fung,
lol).
Got
7
dim
sum
dishes
total
split
between
2
people.
It
came
out
to
roughly
$43,
and
we
were
both
pretty
stuffed.
Service-wise,
they
were
great.
We
beat
the
crowd
Sunday
at
~10:30am
and
there
was
no
wait.
It
got
pretty
busy
at
11
so
get
there
early
to
avoid
the
waitlist.
There
was
a
minor
hiccup
when
we
paid
at
the
front;
they
accidentally
billed
us
as
the
wrong table
but
refunded
and
fixed
it
without
us
prompting,
giving
us
the
refund
receipt
just
in
case.
Appreciated
that!
While
they
didn't
have
cart
service
when
I
went,
I
actually
loved
their
QR
code
made-to-order
system
which
lets
you
order
dishes
with
your
friends
and
it
updates
live.
You
can
clearly
see
the
cost
of
each
dish
as
you
add
to
your
cart
and
most
dishes
had
pictures.
It
was
a
lot
less
hassle
than
trying
to
flag
down
cart
servers
to
get
the
dim
sum
dishes
you
want.
Food
came
out
pretty
quickly
and
they
served
free,
delicious
tea
like
real
dim
sum
restaurants
in
Hong
Kong.
TL;DR
-
highly
recommended,
very
good
value
for
tasty
and
fresh
dim
sum,
and
great
service.
100%
coming
back
here
for
my
dim
sum
fix.
