I'm a plumber building a tower a block away so I can't normally get there... wrong hours. I have walked by on the way home and always smelled the best smells. Turns out their hood exhaust is what I was smelling. Today I started late so I stopped in. WOW!!! Be hungry when you show up here!! I couldn't finish the sandwich but did try to eat all the potato salad... yea right! EVERYTHING was outstanding! The staff were wonderful. Give them a try if you are anywhere close... you will thank me 🙂 PS. I saw the sandwich and ate half before it occurred to me to take a pic 🤣🤣 Great food! Ron

The Market House Grilled Reuben ia must if you are a Reuben Sandwich lover!! The meat was thinly sliced and melt in your mouth, coupled with saurkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing all harmoniously placed between two slices of rye bread!!! Ok, maybe a little dramatic but this Reuben is one of the best found I've had in Seattle! I was told by a close source of mine the Pastrami dip sandwich was the best they ever had! The sandwiches are served with scoop of potato salad, a pickle slice and a little cookie! The staff was very helpful and friendly and completed my order quickly as the lunch time rush was coming in. I also heard the staff addressing other customers by their first name and recalling their orders as they were obviously regulars! That tells me this is great spot to eat at! This is a definite go to spot!

I’ve tried a few corned beef and Reuben spots in the city. This is by far the BEST one. They give the most generous portion of meat for a $15 price. I’ve paid closed to $25 for a similar sandwich with 1/3 less meat at another delicatessen. The staff is friendly and quick with giving you your food. Highly recommend the grilled reuben. It even comes with potato salad and an Oreo cookie!

Highly recommended. By far, THE best rueben sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Super tender corned beef, and a WHOLE LOT of it. Included some nice (potent) horseradish sauce, potato salad, pickles and a cookie. Great/fast service too. First time here (in town on business) and there was a super nice guy at the grill today. Nothing fancy inside, but the food is absolutely superb.

I've tried many breakfast sandwiches in Seattle and Market House Meats's unassuming, protein-filled one is easily among the best. For $8 + tax you got three choices of meat plus the usual egg and cheese in this delicious English muffin sandwich. So packed and delicious, I had an absolute blast. I came back and tried a breakfast burrito, it's also very good but I'd say the breakfast sandwich has unbeatable value. Service is no-frills, fast and friendly. It's not easy to find this place but once you try it I'm sure you want to come back, just like I did!

I ordered the C.P.R. (corned beef, pastrami, & roast beef on a hoagie roll) and wow, it was hefty and delicious! The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu.

Got the grilled reuben to go and holy wow was it a great sandwich! Packed full of meat that was still hot when I got it home. The cookie is a nice touch. I grabbed some of the corner beef hash to cook at home since their full corned beef slabs looked AMAZING. I don't have the space in my fridge for one right so I couldn't justify buying one, but a pound of the CBH was much more manageable. I look forward to having it given how delicious this sandwich was! Definitely going back with my bf one of these days.

I've been coming here for years and the food is superb every time. It's not an exaggeration to say this is the best Corned Beef & Pastrami you can find in Seattle. Plus, its a locally owned small-business and the staff are super friendly!

This amazing deli doesn't need my 5-star rating as any proof that they're doing a good job. They have the history to prove it. My only regret is that it's taken us this long as regular visitors to the area to discover it. We will definitely return.

I've been eating here for 25 years and they're another wonderful old-school Seattle institution. They make all their meats in-house and sell them to most of the good restaurants in town. Why not go direct to the source? They've got the best Reuben in town hands-down. Same goes for their Pastrami sandwich. I'd put their Philly Cheese among the top 3 in town. Prices have gone up a bit but now you get a cup of soup and a side salad to lessen the sting. (Who does that?) I'll miss this place when it's gone because old Seattle greatness is disappearing fast... and so am I.

Pretty solid sandwich shop. I got the BBQ brisket and the meat is pretty good quality on a soft roll. Will definitely be back to try their pastrami and corned beef.

I got the Reuben. The quality was high and the portion was large. But it's over 20bucks with tip. And the meat and the small amount of sauerkraut and the cheese are all chopped together on the grill, which I don't like as much as the traditional layered and grilled presentation. They also put ground horseradish on the side instead of 1000 island. It was a good hearty sandwich, but perhaps not really a Reuben I don't like tipping for counter service, but that is everywhere now. I blame the homeless. Also there weren't any hot chicks.

Really good deli with legendary sandwiches. Tried the warm pastrami and the brisket sandwich. Both were great. A full sandwich can easily be shared between 2 people. Meat was tender, flavorful and the prices were not too expensive. The portions were decent and the sandwiches came with some sides such as chips, fries potato salad, etc. Recommended!

Excellent Reuben sandwich, full of beef and delicious taste. I ordered the full sandwich and it is a lot of food. The place is really close to business buildings so it is very convenient and the service was great.

I ordered delivery while in Seattle. They make a killer sandwich! Corned beef and Pastrami were both delicious. Nice eye bread. Great split pea soup, potato salad and kosher pickles! Nice size portions. Definitely recommend. They've been around since the 40's for a reason!!!

Genuinely the best Reuben I’ve had in years! Gives New York a run for its money, and has been a staple here in Seattle for years. The portions are huge and the sandwiches are on point

Best Phillie Cheese Steak that I've had in my life. The Ruben is amazing too. Lots of delicious meat with fresh grilled unions and peppers with perfectly melted cheese on a delicious bun. Also will allow you to sub potatoe salad and cookie for fresh hot French Fries. A+

Heard this place has the best Reuben in Seattle. The rumors are correct! The sandwich was so melt in your mouth delicious. The staff were also very nice and fun to talk to. The moment you walk in your mouth waters from the smell of cooked meats. 10/10

Amazing corned beef sandwich. One of the best I’ve ever had. Super nice staff. This place is all quality food and no glitz and glamour of the rest of Cap Hill. Definitely a cool local spot. Highly recommend

I can honestly say that I had the best REUBEN sandwich of my life here! Trust me when I say this, I have had reuben sandwiches all over the country and the one I had here was the absolutely best meat, seasoned and grilled but also on some of the best rye bread I have ever tasted! The size of the whole sandwich was daunting, considering I'm a big guy (6'4" - 315), that is saying something! Can't wait to come back!

This is the best place in Seattle for pastrami, or corned beef. Their sandwiches are amazingly satisfying, with all the fixings on the side, and a perfect balance or tender, moist meat to light, and fluffy bread. The staff is incredibly friendly. Service is fast. There is plenty of counter space to dine in. Additionally, there is a selection of dessert pastries (the baklava is on point!). You will not leave hungry.
