Don’t be afraid to try new places and we highly recommend this place. Don’t expect a fancy atmosphere, yet when you walk in you smell all the spices of the Indian culture (fabulous). What you can expect is humble, attentive, and simplistic service. We tried the Bloody Mary which was slightly on the salty side but still very pleasant and the oatmeal cookie martini which was strong but very delightful. The appetizers we had were the Samosas with three different kinds of sauces; plum, cilantro and chili. They all have very different flavors yet we encourage to try all 3 so you get the full experience. We love the butter chicken and they allow you to pick from the spice level you can tolerate 1 being almost none to 5 being those who love heat! Our meal came with the rice and we ordered a side of the Garlic Naan (you have to order the Garlic Naan it’s to die for). This place is one place you should not pass up!

I knew this place was going to be great when we walked in to the best aromas. All staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely customer savvy and all made sure to check on us every time one of them passed our table. They food was delicious!! The chutney bar was superb!! Everything we ate was delicious. Even the Mango Lassi or yogurt drinks were a great experience. Some suggestions off the menu: From the chutney bar: mango, cilantro, tamarind. I forgot the other names but they were all delicious & very flavorful. The garlic naan & Bhatura were great choices to eat by itself, dip in your chutneys or dip in your entrees. They went perfectly with the butter chicken & Nirvana dishes my husband & i chose. Sambosa & Onion Bhaji were delicious appetizer starters we had with our chutney. Not only was our food delicious, Our server Daniel & the rest of the friendly made this date night & experience worthwhile. We will be back again to try new items soon. Thank you for the experience Karma!

Best Indian food around! Definitely recommend eating here! The entrees are full of flavor and naan is delicious. Seems dark and sometimes like it’s not open, but they are! Stop in and enjoy some great food. They have a fun little robot that brings your drinks or sides to you. It was a fun experience. Lots of seating and inside looks like they did or do a buffet some days. We didn’t get that, our meal was made to order.

Every single time we go, we are warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable. It's hard not to tip generously when are treated so kindly. Update: the Afghan Chicken dish was really good. Very tasty and very soft!

Food was came out quickly and was fantastic! The jackfruit curry was out of this world! Onion Bhaji was the perfect way to start our meal. Check this family owned and operated restaurant out for a different and fun experience!

I'm beyond upset. I ordered food online. There was barely any sauce for my samosas (pictured). I meant to order butter chicken but ordered chicken curry instead. Garlic naan was burnt. I called to ask for a replacement. Man over the phone repeatedly told me I ordered online. I understood that. I just wanted the order replaced. He was reluctant and was just going to give me a refund for the naan. I didn't want a refund just fresh non burnt naan. Told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I got there the cashier was smiling and I said is this my replacement (the bag clearly had my name on it). I sat the food bag down of the food I was returning. They said hold on you ordered online this is what you ordered pointing to the bag. I said we already discussed this over the phone. Is my garlic naan in here? They wouldn't let me leave until they opened the foil bag of the naan bread I returned. I said yes as you can see it's burnt. They continued to talk about how I ordered the food online. I said I would never come back here again and walked out the door. Very poor customer service. All I asked was for a replacement. Not a refund. Simple. I wasn't going to post anything until you all tried to act as if I was wrong for wanting the correct food and for it not to be burnt. I paid $35 of course I want food quality food. Not to mention you guys have made your container sizes smaller. Last time I got what was like a family size portion. This time it was a single portion. For the same price? I understand inflation but come on. Took a look at my replacement food and that naan was burnt too (bottom right picture)

Our go to restaurant for Indian fare. We have tried this restaurant consistently since 2019. Food seems authentic (we've seen older Indian/Punjabi couples here dining), prices are fair and spice level can be adjusted to your needs or lack there of. As an appetizer we like the fish or paneer pakora, but have found the onion bhagi sometimes a bit oily. The curried goat (Karma Curry Special) is always a hit, very flavorful, but expect more bones and sauce than meat. Where they excel is in their vegetarian offerings. More recently, we tried the saag paneer and bartha and they are excellent offerings. The chutney bar is also available where you can add a variety of sauces or spiced offerings to your meal. As of our recent visit, there's a robot which brings your food to the table - a hit with the little ones. Definitely worth a visit at least once.

I loved the concept of chutney bar along with salad, which is complementary to the meal. They have serving robot. The taste of Matar paneer and chicken tikka was similar, felt like made in the same base gravy. I will rate the tandoori chicken 8 out of 10. Breads we ordered were good. We got complimentary lassi when we concluded our meal. The staff was very polite and considerate.

This place has terrible service and terrible food. There aren't many Indian restaurants from Seattle on the way to Rainier, but that does not give this place an excuse for bad service and poor quality food. We ordered some curries, naans, lemon mint water (nimbu paani), and papad. The server had only two plates for us and took forever to get the third plate. The nimbu paani never came. The papad and naans were undercooked and the saag chana didn't look like it had any saag. See some of the photographs. Finally, the server messed up the bill and brought someone else's bill and when I pointed the error, kept looking it over as if I was saying something wrong and then took forever to get the correct bill. This restaurant would get 0 stars for the service and the food. The 1 star is really meant for the decor, which is at least somewhat nice.

Our first time to this restaurant, we love Indian food and its many spices. Food tasted well we had chicken korma and nan bread, this is the first indian restaurant I've been to where they charge you for more rice. The service and atmosphere was a little of a let down. There were two waiters working, one really friendly and attentive the other one not so much. It's so important during a first time visit that you feel welcome. Restaurant seems to be going through a possible remodeling project. Would I recommend this restaurant, yes I would just hope that you have the friendly waiter and not the other one.

My wife wanted to check out this restaurant for months now. Today, we finally had an opportunity to dine in. I cannot express just how impressed my wife and I were. We walked in and, immediately, the smell of spices filled the air. We were greeted and shown to our seats. When we ordered, the owner came over to our table to asked us if we had any questions or if we needed any assistance with what to order. This was nice and appreciated. The food arrived quickly, hot and presented beautifully. There was a chutney bar with many different options. We ordered the Chicken Achari Curry, Chicken Karahi Curry, Onion Naan, and Samosas. Everything is made to your spice level (1-5) and it was exactly as advertised!!! Absolutely amazing restaurant and the service was exceptional. Would recommend to everyone that enjoys Indian food!!!

Good food options, great location, nice stop if you are going to Mt. Rainier and best of all, great staff. Food came at right time and the portions were okay (except for the soup, it was pretty small sized). Food taste was okay. Not that great for vegetarian side and the vindaloo was more or less bland. Great drinks, portion and the taste. Parking is shared and plenty. Good seating areas.

Ramesh, the restaurant owner, truly exemplified generosity and community spirit by donating food for our community strengthening event in Washington state. His contributions made the event not only memorable but also heartwarming. With over 240 individuals, including community members, refugees, community-based organizations, and volunteers, his support for refugee resettlement was a remarkable gesture that brought our diverse community together. We are immensely grateful for Ramesh and his wife’s kind and meaningful participation in this event.

Food tasted good. Many vegetarian options. Liked that our waiter was upfront about what the dish looks like and made of so we could decide better. Also liked complimentary onion chilly salad. Restaurant was clean. Ample parking available outside.

Wow. Just wow. Just found my favorite Indian restaurant I have even been too. Food and service was great and I will be coming back as much as I can. Prices are very fair too. Allot of Indian restaurants north more are like 20% more expensive and less food. But this place wow!!! Love love love

We ordered the chicken korma, lamb Karahi, and garlic naan. It was delicious and generous portion sizes. They had us taste a new dish they were considering adding to the menu which also was amazing. Definitely one of our favorite Indian restaurants ever. Update: tried the Mint Curry with chicken. It was good. Tasted like regular curry with a light mint aftertaste.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The staff were absolutely amazing, when we went they were packed. When we were finally seated, I thought it would take a while, but we got out food relatively quickly, and the food was fantastic. Our server was super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. Like, I don't even like mango, and their mango Lassi was great!

Butter chicken was phenomenal. I’ve had different Indian restaurants in three different states and this is one of the best! Highly recommend will be back. Only thing I would change is I would up the spice level. I’m pretty weak when it comes to spice and I got a level one and I definitely think I could’ve handled a level two or three but that’s my own fault of course. Still delicious!

-update our son recently turned 21 on the 15th and this is where he wanted to eat for his birthday and have a few drinks. When carded we were told if his birthday is today the 15th then they can’t serve him??? When your 21 you can drink and we tried to explain this to the bartender but he said he studies to be able to serve and knows. I refused to eat there because it’s beyond rude and totally ruin us wanting to come here to celebrate . The guy must have looked it up or something because he kept trying to bring us free stuff but at this point I didn’t take anything from him. What would have been nice is a genuine I’m sorry that’s my bad. I really liked this place but for me it’s going to be extremely hard to recommend or even want to eat here. This place is beyond good. It’s definitely one of my favorite Indian cuisine places to eat at. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. They are open until mid night so when I work late this is my go to spot. Just writing this already has me planning my next visit in my head. 🤤 seriously tho give this place a try and I strongly recommend the butter chicken.

This restaurant definitely lived up to its rating! I can see why it has so many reviews and such a great score. With this being the first place that I've chosen strictly from the rating and review count, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I'm glad I made the choice to visit. Atmosphere The atmosphere definitely set the mood for a traditional Indian dining experience, though because I was seated in the area nearest to the kitchen, I felt as though I had missed out on the focused design and architect of the restaurant - which was unfortunate. Staff Immediately after opening the door to the restaurant you are warmly greeted by a staff member who takes the count of guests in your party. Once seated, they brought over a water as I glanced over the menus, which I felt was a nice gesture. Typically, the server starts off by talking about the premium beverages list before being told that water is preferred. Once ready to order, I had asked what is good from the vegetarian menus and the server didn't hesitate to point out an item, showing that he was very confident in his choice (in my opinion). During the dining experience, I didn't feel pressured into ordering more, boxing up items early, or making forced conversation with the server, aside from when they checked you ensure that the food was served well, which all contributed to my positive experience. Food I had zero issues with the food; it was excellent and the portions were more than enough for a party of one. I do wish that I had more time with the appetizer as it was served with the entree forcing me to choose which one I wanted to eat warm vs hot. I find that this is a common practice among restaurants so it's no fault if theirs... It's just frustrating at times. Personally, I'd rather delay the entree, even 5 minutes behind the appetizer so that I can have the chance to enjoy both. Price The price was reasonable for the portions. An appetizer, entree and side all came to about $30, with a take home box. Since I was solo, I probably could've skipped the appetizer and side for a lower price point and still been satisfied, but naan bread is my weakness. Overall I'm satisfied with my decision to stop here for dinner. It's a bit out of the way, but I'd gladly return with my family or friends to let them enjoy the experience with me.

They are awesome! Probably the best Indian food I've had and I've eaten a lot. The owners and staff are so nice. I can't say enough about this place. It was a great experience. They are wonderful with children as well.

I always love my experience here! The food is always so delicious and the service is great. My most recent visit they threw in a new dish for me to try and it totally made my day. They had no idea but I was getting take out because I spent the whole day cleaning after being sick with my kids for the past week so I was finally better to pick up the house and just to exhausted to cook and feeling sad that day because I was really missing my husband who is deployed. So that kind gesture just made my whole day! I always like trying something new and boy this did not disappoint. It’s called Afghani chicken. The flavors were so delicious and the meat fell right off the bone! I’ll be adding it to my list of favorites.

While having my vehicle serviced at a business next-door, my daughter and I decided to have lunch and came upon KARMA. The service was awesome and genuine. You can see that everyone works together to make sure customers are taken care of, and well fed. The food was delicious and we got a sneak peek/taste of a new item coming to the menu soon. Everything was delicious. The chutney bar was an adventure, and although I don’t live in the area, I could see bringing my family and friends to KARMA to dine, it’s worth the drive and there are other things to do while in the area. To all at KARMA, front and back of the house, thank you for provided us with a wonderful dining experience.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - Lamb Boti (marinated lamb kabob in masala sauce) was oddly sweet. It was good but got queasy halfway through. Chicken Korma (cashew, golden raisin, yogurt sauce) was good but fairly typical of korma. There were definitely some raisins and cashews to add texture and flavor into each bite. The curry was seasoned very well and delicious overall. Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Went on a weekend night so lots of families, so definitely very family friendly. Their phone rings quite a bit with to go orders. No music playing but lots of silverware and conversations. Gold accents, very rustic and warm coloring Service: 5/5 - quick to acknowledge us and take our order when we were ready Value for price: 3/5 - more expensive than we were expecting for Indian food but generous with the serving sizes

Every time I order from Karma or dine-in the food is always AMAZING! I literally can't get enough of this place and have half a mind to only eat here when I reach my retirement age. The food is amazingly delicious! The inside is a little lackluster, but it isn't dirty. If you love indian food, I highly recommend you stop in here at least once. I promise you won't be disappointed 🙏🏽

Food is average. Veg pulaov is full of oil, but it's better than any other dishes. Naan is dry. Non vegetarian items are OK.

I will always hold this restaurant in a special place of my heart. The food is always the best and the price is great. The quality is far better than anything I’ve had. The dishes on the menu had a large variety compared to most Indian restaurants. The staff were very nice and accommodating to the customers!!

The service was good, but the food was not the biryani was soggy with over cooked chicken. We ordered paratha but we served some burned bread. The butter chicken was good though the presentation was not.

This place is amazing not just the food but the staff. They gave us a sample of karma khoya chicken that will be added to the menu soon, so good. We ordered the tufu saag and tufu vindaloo it was a 10 out of 10. As we were leaving they also gave us a mango latte that did not disappoint. So delicious. If you haven’t been I highly recommend going.
