Not a good place to work , Bad management Patricia Southernland and Bobbi Mitchell are the worst management you want to work for. Its like Sweat shop office when other management aren't around. micromanage Controlling problems. The lead Bobbi are so Ghetto She's the size of hippo wore spandex size zeroes, she's stink as hell always look so oil and sweating. She's very manipulating stinky bipolar giant Lead, she played mind game…dresses like a stripper, Very Unprofessional. She weed out employees one by one if you don't cave to her games. She likes to divide the group and bad mouth one after. She's rude ( Hurting people hurts other) If they don't like you, they'll find flaw to harass you and sabotage your work to push you out the door. Patients overpaid their account because of the unfix billing system called NextGen continue to send statement to patient, the lead and manager would played deaf ear when patient called pleading for their money to be refund. Sad... doctors, employess and medical director are unaware what goes on in the billing office. The company will sink and bankrupt soon if they get new menagemtn. WAKE UP! I think those 2 dumb dumb are hiding something hmm could they be taking the company's money. If you are the patient ..reading this, and you continue to received bill after you paid, Don't call. Walk in to the office and talk to the manager if the manager are unable to give you answer talk to the medical biller director. Do not deal with Bobbi and Patricia.

I have been a proud clinical staff member that represents and works along side many of the best doctors and providers in the downtown Seattle/Capital Hill area and still work for Minor and James Surgical Specialists. I have seen many of our providers and have been given the best medical care as well as the utmost respect and the best customer service from everyone from the front desk staff, billing and the back office clinical staff. I highly recommend any of these fine providers at Minor and James Surgical Specialists for your care!

I do not recommend. I was seen by Dr. Backous for a checkup on an issue with my ears and sinuses. He was an hour late and the appointment only lasted 5 minutes. He was clearly distracted, did not listen to me, he took off and put on my hearing aids without asking for permission and did not treat me with any respect. He immediately recommended a CAT scan and followup surgery, without looking at my ear for more than 30 seconds, even after I told him and his assistant i was not open to surgery. I felt disrespected and railroaded, like he did not listen to me. I was charged almost $300 for the pleasure despite them telling me my insurance would cover all charges.

I had been monitored for a thyroid cyst for years by another ENT. But when the cyst placed pressure on my vocal cords causing me to lose my voice and the doctor couldn’t give any immediate help. I was recommended to Dr. Kimbrough. I saw him and what a relief, he recognized immediately the issue, was able to partially drain the cyst on the spot & made changes in his schedule to accommodate surgery for me asap. I was, and continue to be so impressed by his knowledge, sense of urgency, kindness and expertise. I wish more doctors were like him. I would recommend him to anyone!

The entire team was friendly, courteous, and professional. Dr Higashi was thorough in her exam. I felt heard and she was responsive to my concerns. The environment was relaxing and I didn't feel rushed which is truly refreshing now a days. Thanks Dr H and team for a wonderful experience.

I've seen Dr Backus several times for an ongoing issue. It's a pretty complicated situation, and he is very knowledgeable and encouraging and realistic. On top of that he's a pretty nice guy. I would highly recommend him.

Come on. $300 for a regular removal of ear wax? This is after having a good in-network premera insurance. Apparently it's a policy to get hearing tested before wax removal. Ok. $172 for that? I don't mind paying, but don't have policies that convientlty make you money.

Dr Backous is extremely knowledgable and efficient and you can tell by talking to him. He has a great dry sense of humor that really sets you at ease. His surgical team is top notch as well to include the very detail oriented anesthesiologist. I would highly recommend him and his team.

I met with Dr Muller to follow up on an unexpected outcome of a surgery he performed at Minor & James Surgical Specialists. Dr Muller stated that I had high expectations when I expressed my concerns about the outcome of the surgery that he is claiming to be “above average”. The outcome of the surgery is just unacceptable, due to the fact that incisions looks extremely bad (please see photo below), and it has caused me serious long lasting problems. I was hoping for a more professional and caring medical response from Dr Muller. I believe all patients should have high expectations from any medical health provider. Moreover, all patients seek medical care to resolve health issues rather than creating bigger issues. In this case, Dr Muller has created a much bigger problem. Dr Muller advised to seek services from a plastic surgeon to resolve this problem. I would not go to this doctor because he makes a mistake, he puts the blame on the patient. very awful doctor and human being.

Hidden fees, avoid this place! I was charged $83 for a "free" adjustment for my orthotics. Staffing for the Billing department is scant at best so good luck trying to contest any frivolous fee they throw your way. The doctor kept pushing a surgery recommendation on me with every visit as if I was dealing with a water heater salesman. On top of that, the insoles have turned all of my socks black. You'd expect something that costs over $800 to produce would be a little bit nicer in quality, but here we are. Orthotic soles didn't even last me half a year. I recommend going elsewhere for higher quality construction for your insoles.

I could not ask for a better surgeon who knows precisely what needs to be accomplished and the ability to excise the problem. Easy to talk to and extremely competent.

He's a swell guy, that's not too stuffy, too old, or too cool. Kinda smart too! He'll help you feel better.

I had surgery on my nose to fix a deviated septum and shave down a bump where the break was seen and felt externally. Dr. Burgoyne was the Dr. who came in to shave down the bump. He took the liberty to do more than shave down the requested bump. He then cut away two large sections, quite unevenly, from the area of my nose that's at eye level. So much of that area was removed by Dr. Burgoyne that the bone physically comes to a point which makes my nose look ridiculously narrow. I did not ask for this to be done. I am now searching for a surgeon who can fix this, if it is even repairable.

I've seen ENT's throughout my life and journeys around the country. Dr. Wolfe is very knowledgeable, approachable, sympathetic and has a great sense of humor. NO WAITING! Very prompt and respected my time. He's my guy for as long as I live here in the PNW. Thanks, Doc!

receptionist was dismissive and distracted on the phone. They made me wait 3 days to try and book an appointment and then after the 3 days they declined to allow me to book an appointment even though they accept my insurance. Couldnt get a straight answer out of them as to what their criteria was for accepting to declining new patients

I’ve seen John Burgoyne a few times, had two surgeries and also utilized some of M&J’s other services. I’ve always had a great experience and appreciated the professionalism of the staff.
