    After picking up our new babygirl, we took her over to get some essentials. Everyone, staff and customers, were incredibly kind. It was a lively experience.

    Just moved to Marysville from Ft. Lauderdale. I've been using Vetco at Petco for about 7 years now. My girl Snickerdoodle is updated with vaccinations now. The young vet assistant answered all my questions and so did some of the people waiting in line with me.

    Went in to get a frozen rat for my snake and ended up picking up a new 40 gallon tank, thanks to the helpfulness and kindness of the duo in the fish section. Not only did they go above and beyond to find me the price but they even carried it to my car for me. Wish I’d gotten their names to give them the credit they deserve. But it really is pleasant every time I go here :)

    Nearly every time I go to this store someone is texting, eating or just providing poor customer service. I just went there and one of the cashiers was stuffing her face with ice cream and made me wait for the next cashier letting me know she is not clocked in after helping a customer right before me and then a huge line formed and she just sat there eating watching the line form. Then a few other staff members came up as well and didn’t interact with any of the customers or step in as cashier they just interacted with each other then walked away. I am not sure what is wrong with a majority of the staff as they do not know how to interact with customers. They don’t greet, ask if you need assistance or even interact with you while you are the register. I am not sure how the manager even allows any of it.

    Petco Marysville (Smokey Point) has always been our "Go to". The team members are friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. My Husband and I have just rescued our newest member, Pucca Grace and she loves Petco as much as her previous siblings did. ❤️

    I had scheduled my dog grooming appointment a week and a half ago for today 11/21 at 5:30pm. This morning I received a text message with terrible grammar asking for me to come in earlier around 2pm to ensure proper time to groom my dog. I let them know I can not make it at 2 but can be there at 4:30pm. We agreed. I went to the Lake Stevens Petco where they informed me that my appointment was at the Smokey point location. I immediately called and texted Petco and told them what had happened. The employee at Petco then responded and said, “if you’re late we will need to reschedule.” I let them know I left work an hour early to beat traffic and will be there at 4:45 and all I received back was “4:45-reschedule”. There was no empathy towards me or my time. I highly suggest petco to retrain their employees and teach them how to properly treat their customers with empathy, compassion and WAY better communication. I told them I would like to cancel and will go somewhere else and did not get a response trying to save my appointment or confirming the cancelation. HIGHLY dissatisfied with my experience today and will not be returning to Petco because of this.

    They always have what I'm looking for. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I will continue to be a patron. However, beware when buying fish here. I've had fish in my house for over 20 years, but I've had a really tough time with fish bought from here which usually results in their death within 72 hours of purchase. If you decide to buy fish here anyway, they have a really good policy on "returning" the poor water breathers and replacing them.

    I love Petco, clean, friendly staff, and I save a ton on kitty litter with the refill. The litters great, clumps well and suits the cats better than the perfumed overpriced brands.

    Trent did an amazing job. Bathing and deshedding our Golden retriever Made us and our dog feel totally at ease. Can’t believe how clean and beautiful our Winston looks! Thanks!

    My dog was from Texas and had thistle balls all over his fur they got rid of them and now we see the real dog we adopted from Skagit humane they are great here's a before and after wow right

    Trent in grooming did amazing with my fluffy Pomeranian! I loved how both guys working in the grooming department offered me advice on what the best services would be for my little girl. She is very skiddish at times and I was so pleased when I returned and was informed that she did a great job during the appointment. I was very nervous as I just moved across the country and I don’t know any groomers locally. I will 100% return and I’m so happy with the service I received. Thanks Trent!

    We take our dogs there exclusively. They have been patient and caring. Last visit our dog got sick and our tech, Asia, took extra care to clean her up afterwards. She also kept her out of the dryer as it stresses her.

    We LOVE grooming day with Dani!! She is so phenomenal with our dog, she’s always so cheery and gives him soooo much love. He was extra dirty this trip since he had just spent 4 days playing in the ocean. Highly recommend requesting her for grooms and never have any hesitation when I leave him in her care. Cooper approves! ❤️

    The store itself is fine. The salt fish area could use a scrubbing and please take care of cobwebs. Crickets everywhere, I don't minds them, but really, work on it's enclosure. Great fish variety of fish, several tanks had floaties if dead fish, 2-3 in almost every one. Anyway, I stopped to check out the critters with my kids, didn't buy anything. Prices are decent if you can't wait for Amazon to deliver.

    I have an American Bully, trying to find a chew toy for her that doesn't come apart in one day. Very difficult. You don't have a decent selection that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. She tore up a Kong chewy in less than a day. The Petco associate that I spoke to couldn't suggest anything for my dog.

    We got help as soon as we walked into the store. We came to find flea collars and the associate was very helpful. We got just what we wanted for our dogs. It was a great experience.

    Initially I was frustrated that the isles were hard to look thru (product to be stocked blocking) and that the 15lb cat food I was looking for did not seem to be carried at this location anymore. After some debate, and notice of a coupon posted in front of the 7.5lb bag of the cat food I use, I decided to buy the smaller bag until I was able to purchase the large quantity again. This coupon was for a free bag of freeze dried cat food that was 3.5oz and regularly 10.99. Normally, I would not buy that type of item. The coupon stated if I spent more than $25 on any of several brands listed (including Science Diet which I was buying) I would get this small cat food free ($10.99 before tax). After spending a few minutes trying to locate this free food I came across another of the coupon signs, thinking I must be getting close to the free product. I finally located the free item, which also had the sign in front indicating it belonged to the coupon. I took both items and went to the cash register to check out. The cashier rang up my cat food (Science Diet) then the smaller cat food, and attempted to scan the coupon. Unfortunately, the coupon did not work. The cashier read the back of the coupon and stated the coupon ended the previous day. Frustrated again, I said ok well there are multiple signs with the coupon posted as well as an advertisement in front of the product. (They) then said to me they would make sure the coupons and signs would be removed. I said, "......Ok?" They then asked me if I still wanted the item (coupon NOT honored) and I responded, "Nope!" They then said ok and told me my total for the Science Diet. I paid and left very disgruntled. No care or consideration was given for a mistake that was made at store level, in that particular store. Had the cashier reacted different, I may have not left so frustrated. If I can avoid this store in the future, I will certainly be shopping elsewhere.

    I was able to go straight to my fur babies preferred brand of dog food, grab and go. Check out was easy, as associates were on the ball and had checkouts open quick check out was possible. Friendly and attentive staff.

    They are so sweet to my shy boy every time I take him for a nail clip! Everyone in the grooming salon is helping him overcome his anxiety! They even gave him a bandana last visit and he was so proud.

    Ordered online & picked up. Very pleasant staff, friendly & helpful with anything I was asking. They had my online order finished within 20 minutes of my order! This one has Excellent customer service from my experience! Thank you all at this Petco location.🙂

    Bettas must be kept in 5 gallon tanks Minimum. With heat and filtration system. Bearded dragons must be kept BY THEMSELVES as they are an extremely territorial species. If you cannot meet basic requirements of animals you are keeping you should not be selling them, AT BARE MINIMUM educate EVERY customer on their new animal's needs so that you don't end up with hundreds, if not thousands, of dead and barely surviving animals being kept in poor conditions by ignorant owners. I only ever shop here when I'm looking for cheap supplies for my rescued animals, but I need to stop because watching more get put into the same situations is only depressing.

    Great treats and toys, it feels clean inside the store. This has been our go-to pet store for almost two years. Unfortunately, three stars removed for blatant homophobia and lack of respect (or even acknowledgment) from cashier staff. Will probably avoid going back.

    I only go to Petco to buy my dog's food. I took my grandson and new puppy this time so we could get the puppy a collar and leash. Wow, I had no idea they would cost as much as buying myself a dress! The puppy weighs 5 lbs

    Clean store, but not as much assortment as I had hoped. Went in looking for something for a bird and they did not carry it in the store. Good selection of foods for pets though.

    I came here mainly for fish products/fish but overall the experience I'd as any other Petco. It may be low staff but all questions and help is greeted with a smile and a positive attitude

    Been coming here alot to get my dogs groomed. It went from $59 to $79, ill be taking my service other place. They could tell me before they take my dog back and charged the hell out of me. Very upset with this place. Also I'll be stopping my petco account.

    I take my 21 mo old Great Dane for Bath & grooming. They do a fantastic job. I'd recommend the twin lake Marysville store for grooming services.
