I've had so many great experiences at Fredric H Rubel Jewelers, in Laguna Beach. I've gone there at the last minute to buy an important gift, and they helped me find the perfect gift for the price I had in mind, gift wrapped it and I was out the door with a gift I was thrilled to give. They are local, they have wonderful selections and they go out of their way for you. A couple of years ago, I saw a watch in a magazine, and fell in love with it. My son-in-law spoke to David Rubel, the owner, and asked him if he could find one. Well, it was a really special watch, and they made this model one at a time. It was probably close to a year, but he was able to get a new one, and I'm wearing it as I write this. Someone saw it before I picked it up, and they weren't able to get another one, as they stopped making it. It was amazing that they got this one for me. It was only due to their persistence. I was just there this week, to pick out two pendants on chains for my granddaughters. I always try to buy local and it certainly pays off. Just go have a look. They are so nice and no pressure to buy something.

Overall, I was really happy with my experience here. I was on the waiting list for a Rolex watch for longer than I would’ve liked, but I think that’s true of all the ADs right now. I also changed my mind on the watch I wanted a couple times. Sarah was really great in working with me to eventually get me the exact watch I wanted and I am thrilled now that I have it!
