Another fantastic venue! The Shakedown is a Live Music Venue & Bar located on State Street & Maple Street. With a newly revamped stage setup, ao showcased talent looks stellar!

Did not eat while there for a concert. The Shakedown is a near-perfect concert venue. I think it says "88 person capacity" at the door. Nice low stage, excellent bar selection and a great layout overall. But, for me, the highlight was the sound! They weren't afraid to push the volume to a high volume, which might be an issue for some. But, those people should bring earplugs, anyway. Not only was it loud, but crystal clear! I think the venue should invest in some more low end, though. That bass/mid/treble balance was a bit off. But, hey, it still sounded fantastic. I will be watching the schedule for upcoming shows and will look forward to coming back again (and again and again and again)

They need to fire Crystal, she manages the shakedown and the pinball lounge. I tried to contact her quite a few times through phone and every time I tried to contact her at the pinball lounge, one of the other workers responds and she is never there until one time i hear her from the background of the phone call saying "did you tell them I'm not here?" But the worker messed up saying that she is here. Very rude. Plus when you have a concern with someone that makes you uncomfortable at the shake down or pinball lounge that is dangerous, she responded, "Not my monkeys, not my circus." She clearly doesn't care about anyone's safety within the shakedown and pinball lounge. Don't even bother talking to the owners either, they will ignore your concerns and only respond to you if you want to book a show. And yes Hollie, I messaged you about my concern through FB towards you and you left it at read. You're such a lying shameful person just as much as Crystal. AVOID FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

Good drinks with a good sound system. Fun place to see a band and have a drink or two. It's cool that is attached the to Racket as well.

Solid downtown Bellingham experience. I perform there every once in a while. Staff is super friendly, good crowd atmosphere. Outdoor patio right off the street if you need some fresh air. Good smaller stage. Upper balcony area is sometimes open also which is pretty cool.

One of the best for music in town. Infused vodkas will blow your mind. Sandwiches and munchies next door but you can order there.

Saw Dance with the Dead there last night. Great show. Staff was friendly, bathrooms were clean, and it was easy to find parking. About the only downside was how hot it got inside, but that's to be expected at almost any concert. I definitely go again.

Love this spot for shows, one of the best venues in town. The gyros, Philly cheesesteak and falafel are so tasty. Definitely go get food and see some live music at this local gem

Hands down the best venue bham has to offer. Head next door to the Racket and play some pinball.

Echos a bit, not at fault of the sound engineers, but read venue for grunge and twanky sounds. Worth a visit for an enjoyable band, every time. Hosts are sweet, too

Great Place! Get there early fills up quickly. Drinks are done right and quick!! Pretty clean for a bar The band we saw Monstress was AMAZING!! I want to see more of them SOON..

For good local music this is the best place to be. Mount Saturn 🪐 rocks the house every time
