I
have
enjoyed
Rumors
in
the
past
but
I
have
to
leave
a
comment
now
because
I
no
longer
feel
that
it
is
a
safe
and
inclusive
place.
Twice
now
I
have
been
kicked
out
of
Rumors
for
"dancing
which
makes
me
seem
too
drunk"
or
something
like
this.
The
first
time
I
literally
had
one
sip
of
my
cocktail
and
the
second
time
I
had
had
two
tequila
shots.
In
neither
case
was
I
belligerently
drunk,
stumbling,
shouting,
etc.
In
both
cases
I
was
dancing
freely,
using
my
whole
body,
which
is
the
way
I
dance.
I
wasn't
bumping
into
other
people,
I
was
dancing
with
friends
who
know
me
and
who
were
comfortable
with
my
dance
style...
I
don't
grind
against
a
partner,
or
stand
and
move
my
feet
to
the
beat,
I
dance
exuberantly.
And
this
has
become
a
problem
for
Rumors
in
the
past
4-5
years
it
seems.
I
know
that
I
danced
like
this
in
the
years
before
that
and
was
never
kicked
out
but
now
this
kind
of
dance
policing
seems
to
be
the
M.O.
at
Rumors.
There
are
no
breathalyzers
given,
there
is
no
hard
proof
that
I
have
been
over
served.
It
honestly
makes
me
feel
very
targeted.
I
feel
like
Rumors
isn't
a
place
where
a
person
can
be
themselves,
much
as
it
seems
to
want
to
be
that
place.
I
hope
the
management
will
think
about
this
practice
and
consider
whether
it
is
actually
marginalizing
people.
Perhaps,
if
they
still
stand
by
this
policy,
they
can
put
a
sign
on
the
door
which
says
"no
wild
dancing
allowed",
or
something.
I
can't
see
myself
coming
back
as
I
don't
think
I
can
suddenly
become
a
more
"conventional"
dancer.
It's
weird.
I
hope
they
can
do
better.
