I went out to lunch yesterday here with a friend and I had a really nice time! I ordered the Oregon Coast Shrimp and Mango Salad 🥗 and it was honestly one of the best new salads I've eaten in awhile. All of the different salad toppings complemented each other perfectly. It was like a wonderful kaleidoscope of flavor. My friend had the fish and chips and she absolutely loved it. And of course, I would suggest to get outdoor seating in the spring and summertime. There was a beautiful view of the water while we were eating, as well as a cool ocean breeze. 10/10 experience. I would definitely recommend it! P.S. The complimentary flatbread is just heavenly! Perfect for dipping into their tomato basil soup!

Dinner at Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill last night. Our server April was very accommodating & knowledgeable. We had Fish & Chips, Scampi, Tempura Mushroom Appetizer, Hearts of Romaine Salad & I indulged in the pork chop with Ginger Sauce & Apples served on Cornbread w Broccoli. The chop was a generous size, delectable & served very hot which I appreciated. (I probably would’ve requested more sauce but could only finish half.) Dessert was a pass for me but my Aunt had the Strawberry Sorbet & she thought it was refreshing. (Get the Strawberry Shortcake it won’t disappoint!) Anthony’s has a storied tradition of excellence in NW dining, their seafood is top notch & seasonal desserts are always impressive. The view of the marina here on a clear sumner evening is unsurpassed.

Friendly staff Beautiful terrace overlooking the bay The pasta with shrimp was delicious except for the unnecessary load of extra salt There was fresh pepper and salt on each table Leave it to the guest to salt it up if preferred They have a good 3 course dinner deal if you get there before 5.30 pm

This is probably the more fancy restaurants ive been to here in Bellingham and i can say that it didnt really live up to my expectations. The food was fairly bland and just wasnt what you would expect for a more pricy place to eat. Parking was good and the view was really nice but the tables felt old and out of date. The complimentary garlic bread apatizer was really good and maybe the best part, the soup was nothing to die for however pairing it with the bread was nice. My fiance did not enjoy the salad due to it being whole leaves but thats a preference. Overall its was an experience and might not coke back but if I do it would be for the garlic bread.

We have been dining here for years and they always have a great selection of fresh dishes and seasonal drinks! They always have great staff and a nice and relaxing atmosphere. I love this place for Birthdays and meetings!

I don’t understand why “fancy” restaurants put tiny amounts of things on your plate, as if they can’t afford to put more than 7 small green beans on my plate. $34 for my plate (the Royal Ranch Prime Top Sirloin) + I think $12 for my drink, a pomegranate martini (vodka + pom juice, but it wasn’t sweet all at). I know $34 isn’t as expensive as it could have been, but the portions were just so small! I dislike going out to a “fancy” dinner and receiving a small plate. The food was definitely good, though I didn’t like my drink very much. I wouldn’t come back, but I also wouldn’t say “don’t come here.” It was just fine, not amazing. The people I went to dinner with felt the same.

Good food & service! Great drinks! Nice place to bring in the night 🌙! Many of their dishes remain very well made even through & after the pandemic. Good vibes and nice staff. There are so many likable dishes. Sometimes, it's hard to choose.

A good spot for a dinner with a sunset view. The Hearthfire is definitely better positioned than Anthony’s (down the st) for views of the bay and marina. The service was friendly and consistent. The huckleberry spiked lemonade was decent. Shrimp cocktail was fresh and good portion. I ordered the sirloin (medium), cooked as ordered. The side veggies were a little disappointing, perhaps step it up with some broccolini? The mashed potatoes were good. Amazing sunset views.

Really nice atmosphere on the waterfront with big windows to look at the view. Staff was very friendly. We didn't have a reservation but they got us in almost right away. I would recommend having a reservation to ensure you get a table. Lots of gluten free options. Don't expect affordable Prices here! Prices were high but the food is good and the atmosphere makes it worth the price. Portion sizes were just ok. It was a small potion for the shrimp scampi, if you are really hungry I would recommend getting a soup or salad with it or getting a different menu item. The salmon salad was delicious! The presentation of the food was impressive.

We grabbed a drink in the bar prior to our dinner reservation. We enjoyed a window dining room seat, the drinks were wonderful, and the surf & turf on special was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was wonderful. And I recommend the burnt cream for dessert. Recommend either doing drinks and appetizers in the bar or having a drink in the bar prior to dinner. Such a cute little spot. 10/10 recommend!

Very likely the best meal I've ever had. Food came out fast, too. Steak was done perfectly and the flavors of the dish complimented each other in ways I've never experienced. I continuously found myself awestruck through the meal and so did my friends, both ordering different things. My only POSSIBLE complaint is that our appetizer was forgotten but after informing a busser our waiter promptly checked in and let us know it was on the house. It arrived a couple of minutes later. I work in FOH so I know managers can be stingy about that kind of thing, but the speedy reply suggested there was no hesitation. Will definitely come back.

Very tasty dinner for a very casual date night. Both of the meals were amazing and crafted with lots of flavor, you can certainly tell the chefs know what they are doing. I had the spiked seasonal lemonade and it was sooooo delicious. Our server was the perfect level of attentive. All around a great experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner last evening (11/13/2021) @ Anthony's Hearthfire Grill. Everything about the experience was top notch. Kyle took great care of us right down to ensuring our wine glasses were spotless before serving. We were fortunate enough to have a birthday voucher (as supplied by Anthony's) so TWO entrees were top of the list. We enjoyed both the Garlic-Herb Rotisserie Chicken and the Thick Cut Pork Chop along with the warm and VERY tasty bread as supplied (complimentary) by Anthony's. The apple compote on my Pork Chop was perfect (as was the Pork Chop, moist and very tender, perfectly cooked!), and the Rotisserie Chicken had a flavour right out of a Southern BBQ Dry Smoke House, it was a wonderful surprise. This location is one of our favorite Anthony's and whether it be sitting outside during the summer months enjoying a cocktail on the outdoor patio overseeing the inner harbour, or like last evening watching the sun go down over Bellingham Bay in the rain, the great food, excellent service, and smiles are ALWAYS on the menu. We shall return!

Anthony’s is an old time favorite from my days in Seattle. Ate there before almost every flight out of SeaTac. But this was my first time at the Bellingham location and it did not disappoint. Our wait person, David, was relaxed and sincere, funny and pleasant. He took an interest in us and then gave just the right amount of space to enjoy our evening. It’s right on the bay and during daylight hours the views will be stunning. Food is top notch and prepared with care. Even if you don’t want your salmon translucent inside they will cook it perfectly without drying it out. That takes skill, my friends.

LOVED this restaurant and will be back for sure. It was very clean inside and had a very nice presentation inside with very kind waiters and fast service. I really enjoyed my Waygu Burger I got which was very good priced at $19. my Girlfriend got a steak and it was cooked perfect.

Dinner was pretty delicious! Everyone loved their food and it was very tasteful with good flavors. I would recommend and go again. Side note: I didn’t know there were two Anthony’s locations very close by each other. Hearth fire is a little more casual than the harbor one.

Alright, so first of all we were in a big group of people celebrating our “Thanksgiving” I don’t know if our waitress was having a bad or what but she treated us poorly and with a lot attitude, second: the food was burned and cold. A medium rare steak was served as medium rare, but burned in the outside. Well unfortunately it’ll take a long time for me to come back and spend another $70. No thanks. The good thing was the atmosphere pretty nice.

A real good Hearth to warm the soul in Bellingham. the Food was fantastic, freshest seafood, and the steak was sublime. Good Wine selection. Ask for "Now", she knows her pairings!!

This was a very nice dining experience right on the water. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I tried the Wild Alaskan Lingcod and added the Cornbread pudding. Both were very good and would highly recommend.

Hearthfire is a great "let's go someplace a little nicer tonight" restaurant. The service is great, drinks are well made and the food comes in a timely fashion. We met friends there for the umpteenth time, and split an appetizer of panko mushrooms, along with very fresh bread. My partner and I split the 4 piece fish and chips, and got salads to round out the meal. Overall, it was nice, a decent value and exactly what we expected with no fuss. The server even got the table bread without dairy for our friends allergy.
