Staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Started with the Salad, then Pinky Blue dish, followed by Flan. Salad was crisp with pumpkin seeds and a cumin dressing. Pinky is listed as spicy & was just right, layered flavors and delightful. Light and very enjoyable flan had an excellent texture and caramel totally on point. I would suggest them serving it in a bowl however, was hard trying to get all the caramel without licking the plate (I was tempted) I plan to be back for more of the menu - and check out the specials board located directly inside the entrance for sure.

TIP: Vax still required for indoor seating as of 3/25/2022. THANK YOU! Mexican fusion with several very good vegetarian and vegan options. Their outdoor seating is partly sheltered from rain but not very shady. Staff were friendly and helpful. We've visited three times and always enjoyed our entrees. I love that the entrees are not swimming in cheese, so we can experience the flavor of the food instead. One of our favorite restaurants in town!

Pretty disappointed in this food overall and especially for representing New Mexican cuisine, pretty bottom shelf, wouldn't pay for it again. My partner had some chicken enchiladas that were dry, flavorless and felt more like a lean cuisine than a $19 meal. I had the yam tacos which just felt like eating baby food with some textureless garnish. They were well seasoned, but I wouldn't get them again.

Service was perfect and finely friendly! They didn't make us feel like stragglers, even though we were still there an hour after they closed. The food was excellent! I usually find S.W. CUISINE to be bland. This was interesting and flavorful. I had the pinky blue.

SO good! Came here on Ski to Sea day and it was delicious. I'm both vegan and wheat-free, and they actually had several options for me! The potato and garlic enchiladas were so good. My friend got the eggplant and thought it was great too. I wish the vegan cheese wasn't an extra $3, but it was really good, so it was worth it. I also got the special Mexican spiced chocolate pudding, and it was a great dessert. I really appreciate that they are very clear about what people with dietary restrictions can eat, and I would definitely come back next time I'm in Bellingham.

I really really love your food and staff! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure my whole family (little kids all the way up to grandparents) have a great meal and experience. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Back patio on a warm summer evening, delicious food, friendly staff, vibrant atmosphere. Try the cilantro pesto chicken quesadilla... Exceptional!

This has been my favorite restaurant in Bellingham for decades. The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. The ambience is incredible. It's my priority to get there every time I am in town!

This is one of the best restaurants in Bellingham. We've been eating here for 25 years and it's like a fine woman, has gotten even better with age. The food is healthy, fresh and large portions. The apple butter sopapillas are seriously so good I could bathe in it. If you haven't been to Pepper Sisters yet, you need to. It's so comforting to know this place has remained the same.

Been coming here since the late 90's and we visited again last night. Never disappoints. Food was amazing and service and atmosphere was excellent and prices were super reasonable. We will be back. Lovely place!

Wonderful dinner & brew at the exquisite Douglas Fir bar.

First time at Pepper Sisters - had been recommended by other friends who are full on vegetarians. Very inventive menu and lots of vegetarian and and non-vegetarian items. Not your typical Mexican cuisine and the decor and atmosphere was absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this for anyone seeking something slightly different.

Sat at their beautiful bar. Might b an odd comment, but I loved the fir bar-top. Our waitress suggested a Mexican stew for dinner.. I was hesitant, but trusted her advice. The stew was amazing / mind blowing / so flavourful. Hats off to the chef. I’d return for that stew again!!

Fantastic, modern Mexican food in a lively atmosphere. Dishes are fresh and innovative in a good way. All we ordered were very tasty and not oily or over salted. They also have seasonal specials that are fantastic. Good drinks selection. Staff are friendly and helpful. And great that they are asking for proof of vaccination before seating.

I am so glad a friend recommended this place! They’ve got something for everyone, including tasty vegan and gluten-free free dishes and a great kids’ menu. I deeply enjoyed the vegan yam tacos and vegan cashew queso. My hubby loved the Deluxe Blue plate, but also noted the sopaipilla fried bread was so delicious he’d come back for that alone. Very friendly and accommodating staff! It’s worth noting that the restaurant can get very loud quickly and fill up with lots of white noise, so if you have sensory issues, it’s best to come at an off-peak time; the flip side of that is that if you’ve got young (loud) kiddos, no one will notice.

Our experience with this restaurant was disappointing. We ordered takeout for my dad's birthday, a special celebration. Upon returning home, we discovered that his meal was missing, and the orders we did receive were incorrect. Despite having spoken to someone in person with specific modifications for my dad's health, his meal was overlooked. When we called, they claimed it wasn't in the order. This mishap left my dad without his meal, and it was too late to go back. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider returning, despite positive recommendations from friends.

Host and the floor supervisor were great, our server was….strange? Friendly but seemed poorly trained. Food was fine but not exciting, seemed to be missing something. We also found it strange that bread was service after we got our food- had we known there was bread we wouldn’t have had an appetiser, felt bad letting the bread go to waste but not something I’ve ever seen at a Mexican restaurant before and definitely overkill.
