I am hooked on the gyros here! Along with their lemon egg soup you will feel warm and deeply satisfied! I don’t know why during the day there are not many people in the restaurant, but I feel quite safe here also, regarding COVID.

The food is spectacular! The service is over the top! Any of the gyros plates will fit your culinary desire! Moreover, I’d left my sunglasses and DEBIT card at Cafe Akroteri, called the next day and Kate, Coleen & Sarah agreed to mail both back to me in Seattle. I’m not just going back for the food, and recommending the restaurant to my entire network, but I’ll be back to the Cafe b/c I believe they are indeed a 5-Star operation simply by food and level of quality service ☝🏼

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! The service was genuinely friendly, fast and servers are very knowledgeable about the dishes, recipes etc. Food came out in the right order, promptly, hot and well plated. The lemon egg soup is insanely delicious and I’m looking up a recipe to try it at home. The lamb gyro was delicious as were both sides (rice and potatoes are both great and the Greek side salad was incredibly fresh with great dressing.) the entire meal was relaxed but well timed, they were attentive without being overbearing. Overall a great value and I can’t wait to go back and try the souvlaki.

The food was delightful! The service was amazing, as per the "New Normal" they were slightly under staffed. It was still a great experience! Euxapiotw!

Exactly a year ago the food was amazing, but the service was only Ok. At that time, they seemed to be understaffed because they struggled to answer the phone for orders, etc. but the food was great. We just got the food again and the service had very much improved since last year, but the food was absolutely awful. The chicken souvlaki was the blandest I have ever had. The "lemon potatoes" were just breakfast potatoes served at any non-greek food place. I don't know if it was just that one day or this is how it is now. I'm so sad because this place has been around for years and years and the food had tasted good until now.

The lamb gyro was delicious. The Greek fries were hot, fresh, crispy. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere.

I have never been disappointed with this restaurant. The food is delicious. The falafel is moist and perfectly seasoned. The gluten free pita bread they use in house comes from Avellino Gluten Free bakery (Bellingham local) and is a must-try for their gyros.

Love love love the slouvaki bowls! I order them at least once a week if not several times because they are so tasty! Perfect balance of ingredients and great quality every time. The dolmades however need work. The grape leaves are always undercooked, chewy and cause them to fall apart. The lemon sauce is too acidic and runny. Overall though, good food and definitely recommend 👌

Only been there once, but everything we had was delicious and well made. Reasonable prices - especially the gyro plate and a beer for $15! They also have outdoor seating, and a bar area with a good selection of drinks. Service was excellent, and we're looking forward to going again.

The dishes served were decent overall. Both the host and server were amiable and courteous, though the restaurant seemed understaffed. This led to longer wait times, especially when requesting the check. I had to go up to the front counter finally to get the server's attention. Surprisingly, when we first arrived (without a reservation) many tables were vacant, but we were told they couldn't take our orders for 20 min due to limited kitchen staff. So we sat at a table for a while before ordering. The Greek coffee leaned towards being acidic and had an artificial sweetness to it. I wasn't particularly fond of the lemon egg soup. The gyro was acceptable, but the pita lacked flavor. The other food was pretty good. The spanikopita tasted good but wasn't hot.

Friendly prompt customer service. The lamb gyro plate was delicious. The rice & potatoes were cooked to perfection. My Diva drink was very tasty I will return asap.

The salad was beyond wonderful!!! I’m not sure what seasoning they used, but it was spectacular. The mix between the cheese and veggies worked wonderfully. I don’t even like tomatoes and yet I was scarfing it down. The rice definitely was cooked in chicken stock from what I can taste and wasn’t too shabby actually. The gyro was nicely lathered in their sour cream and the lamb was nice and tender. Just wish they had more seasoning in it though! Still, this is a very filling meal and an experience to remember.

Delicious food, generous portions and great service. The Greek salad and baklava martini are some of our favorites.

We used to go to this place alot when we lived here 5 years ago and it was really good. Now not so much, the portions were small, and the potatoes had no lemon flavor at all. And our food was luke warm at best.The "feta" on the greek salad was not feta at all but Mozarella or some other white cheese grated on the salad. And to top it off the service was really quite bad and we were one of the only parties in the place on a Saturday night. We won't be returning.

Mediocre greek food and far from authentic. I ordered a falafel gyro, which looked like a fried piece of fish-fil-a. Greek fries were tasty but could've been a bit more generous with the toppings. Would say it's a good spot to bring the family, but other than that, pretty meh.

I showed up 20 minutes past opening time and the doors were locked. After they let me in and I ordered I didnt get talked to again until I had waited 10 minutes to pay the bill after I was done eating. The gyro was pretty good, I would have had more garlic and more cucumber on it.

Beautiful environment Fresh food easy menu. All our food came out fresh hot and correct. We where a Large group of 14. Unfortunately I was so hungry and the food was soooo good, I didn't get pictures of the aps or main dishes. Pricing is extremely fair portions are great! We ordered off the lunch menu. Chris was are waiter thank you for the great service!!!

Perfect if you're looking for something different downtown Bellingham, they have their own parking lot to boot!.

Every time I am in town for past 30 years I come here to order the Souvlaki pork, chicken or beef meal. The meal comes with the best rice and Greek salad I have tasted. This is my favorite restaurant meal of all the restaurants I have ever been too. The meal is delicious and has always been consistently prepared. I highly recommend this place to eat at.
