This place is awesome! I was in town for work and just googled for good restaurants. I thought Iโ€™d give it a try without looking at any reviews, and it paid off! Cute restaurant with a lot of charm, nice views of the yacht harbor. I arrived just after a large engagement party and the hostess let me know to order quickly to avoid a wait. I went with the salmon risotto, it was delicious! If youโ€™re a glutton and prefer large portions over quality, go somewhere else, but if you value quality food, this is a great spot!

Svea was a fabulous server! She was attentive, friendly and welcoming even though I arrived close to closing. She (nor anyone) made me feel rushed even though I didn't finish my meal until well after closing. She took my order accurately and was brought to me the same way! I ordered the Ribeye dinner medium well and was just a touch on the medium side but it didn't matter because the cut of meat was well marbled and so still very tender even though I waited until it got cold to eat it. I especially loved the perfectly crispy outside edges! In the picture it might seem too dark to some but it wasn't burnt, just seasoned well and perfectly crispy. The garlic mashed potatoes were a bit stiff and dry, not as creamy as I prefer a bit bland. I also really wanted to taste their Garlic Parmesan Fries so I ordered those in place of the seasonal veggies (I know, I need the veggies more)! These were the best I've ever had! It was a generous portion and I couldn't stop eating them until they were gone, which is why my steak got cold! The garlic shavings and grated parmesan were perfectly layered within the abundance of very tasty fries which were cooked just right too! The side Caesar was OK, could've used more dressing though. The atmosphere was much more comfortable and relaxed than you would expect judging from this high quality and elegantly prepared and presented meal. Well worth the cost and I highly recommend (obviously)! Oh and yes there is a full bar for those who wish to partake!

Even though they were short staffed we had amazing service. Were able to sit outside with a view of the water. Great food and drinks.

Went in today for a late lunch. The hostess, bartender, and waitress were all super sweet and friendly! We opted to sit outside in the bar area and the views are amazing! Our waitress was attentive and wonderful. I had the margarita flight and queso crab dip and my husband had The Loft burger. Mine was great! His not so much... Everything was kind of greasy and fishy tasting like everything is fried in the same oil?!. The French fries looked burnt but weren't cooked all the way through and the burger just tasted...off. It was somehow burnt but oily?! I told him that is what he gets for not getting seafood at a place on the water...Moral of the story- stick with the seafood and alcohol ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽ‰

Lovely location and delicious food! We had the crab queso dip which was cheesy, spicy and crabby - delicious. I had forgotten to take a picture and ate many chips before taking a picture. I also had the chicken avocado sandwich with garlic fries. Everything was so yummy and the service was very fast.

Edit: A couple of weeks later, we returned with some out-of-town guests and The Loft didn't let us down! The Baja tacos are excellent, again the fish and chips were spot-on, and the mojitos and Pink Lemonade (with raspberry vodka, lemonade, soda water, and raspberry liqueur) were delicious. Service was good, too. This place is a new favorite! Original review: We went for a late lunch and ordered cod fish and chips, which were excellent! Three pieces, very fresh, and done just right, over a pile of fries with the skins on, along with ketchup and house-made tartar. So good! There are also a number of gluten free, vegan, and dairy free menu items. We also ordered a draft beer (Aslan) and a cocktail which was delicious. We ate in the bar, a nusbut both the bar and restaurant have beautiful views of the marina. Service was very good. This was our first time visiting The Loft, but we'll return, and plan to bring visitors here later in the summer.

The food was great we had a blast. The outside view was outstanding and we were mostly absorbed by our conversations. It was a great time. Our server was A-OK and It is a great place to hang.

Beautiful waterfront seating and awesome food! The avacado fries are a must as are the fish tacos. Great place for a couple people or groups as well as for kidsโ€ฆthey offer cardboard ships with crayons for the kids! Plenty of parking. This is one of the few restaurants in town that is ON the water.

One of my favorite places to dine that I've visited a few times. Like other reviewers have said- amazing service, beautiful view and ambiance, and delicious food. To start, they serve complimentary sourdough bread with softened butter. We decided to share the coffee crusted steak with mac and cheese. Absolutely incredible, and it's one of their signature dishes. We shared the chocolate bomb dessert, which was a bit underwhelming. They used to have a chocolate dessert that was more of a show. It was a round shell and they poured hot chocolate over it. That's what we thought we ordered, but we were mistaken. Still, amazing meal and we'll be back for sure.

Me and my wife tried the Loft for a Date nigMI. We started with the Crab Queso dip. Packed full of crazy goodness and looked like REAL crab. Not imitation. Portion size was good for 2-3 people. We ate it all and wanted more it was so good. My wife got the Bon MI, which is a definite no go. It lacked flavor and was extremely dry, we were both disappointed in it. I ordered the Halibut with Risotto. This is a true 5 star dish. Halibut cooked perfectly, Risotto creamy and decadent. This dish is the main reason we will be giving it another shot. Service was attentive, but the waitress didn't hover. All staff was very nice and welcoming. I would recommend whole heartedly with the advice to NOT get the Bon Mi.

This was our second visit to the Loft for a quick lunch. We had an hour to kill before a work meeting, but we didn't want to take a chance on running behind, so we each ordered just a small Caesar salad and a shared order of their garlic fries. Our server was friendly, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our food and our fries were just a little warm. We still had just enough time to finish and be on our way though. The view is great overlooking the harbor because they have a lot of windows. It has a warm ambiance due to the minimalist dรฉcor and warm wood between the floor and seating.

First off, the place is beautiful. The views of the boats are lovely, and the service was attentive. Now the food. The crab queso dip was super yummy. My Banh Mi sandwich with porkbelly was, unfortunately, flavorless. Made me sad. The fries that came with it were soft and soggy. Made me sadder. But now my partner's halibut with black risotto was AMAZING!!!!!! Because of that dish, I am willing to give The Loft another try.

If staring at boats while enjoying a drink and snack are your thingsโ€ฆ.go away. This is my corner! Kidding only a little. I love this spot. They have your happy hour basics and then they have inventive joys. Dry ribs or avocado fries? Brunch crepes that pair ham and Dijon with raspberry sauce? Or would you like to stick to traditional eggs benedict? The drinks are straightforward and honest. I donโ€™t want to know if they have specials. Why would I? This is my happy chill spot. Staff is friendly. Patrons are nice. The entry is cozy warm!

Service was great and quick. The food was a different story. Me and the wife both had the ribeye with garlic mash potatoes and veggies. Both steaks were prepared perfect but lacking any seasoning except for a glaze, the mashed potatoes were missing the garlic. The pork ribs were excellent and seasoned well, the advocado fries were good. The Caesar salad was ok as they were out of romaine lettuce so they had to use some other greens mixed in with the little romaine they had. The best experience was the local amber ale which ive never had before and was really good. We also had the garlic parmesan fries, which the parmesan was a lil light and while there were a couple roasted cloves of garlic mixed in but didnt taste the garlic on the fries at all. ๐Ÿ˜ To be fair, they did have a large table and they probably were swamped. If we go back, we'll go back for lunch or happy hour for appetizers and view.

Went to this place for the first time. Ordered fish and chips. Fries served were burnt so she replaced it but it still didn't taste any good. Oil used wasn't good I believe. It tasted bitter. Even the fish batter tasted a bit bitter but didn't wanna complain. Kids eat free on Mondays with an entree so that was good. Service was good too and the view is amazing but the seating is made of hard wood and very uncomfortable. Overall an ok experience.

I have been going to the loft for almost 15 years and it is a great spot to have a nice dinner or lunch and watch the sunset. They have a great indoor and outdoor space. It overlooks the marina which is beautiful. The service was great. They have a good selection of beers, and I tried the Cajun seafood, macaroni and cheese for the first time, and it was simply amazing. It was a good size portion, enough for me to take home and have for lunch the next day. If it is cold outside, be sure to bring a jacket, if you want to sit on the patio, as they do not have heaters. It is also a fun place to watch boats launching at the boat ramp and see all the funny antics that go along with that.

First time here and I'll definitely be coming back! Sat at the bar rail tonight and service was amazing. Crab queso dip was super yummy and the staff made great conversation with us โ˜บ๏ธ

This is a great spot to sit on the patio for a drink and apps, or a full meal. One of my go to places when I want a good view with my meal. If you can score a patio deck seat during the summer, you wonโ€™t regret it. Free parking at the marina. This past weekend, we had no wait for dinner on a Saturday at 6 pm. The service was slow to start, we were accidentally seated at a table with no assigned server. Not a big deal with such a great view. We ordered the seasonal blackberry mojitos to start. I love blackberries, but the drink tasted more like a grape cough syrup flavor to me. My partner loved it. We got the dry ribs as an appetizer, delicious! The meat โ€œmeltedโ€ off the bone and the sauce was sweet with a little tang. For the main I got the Cod Fish and Chips. The cod and the fries were delicious. The breading was perfect, not too heavy or greasy. And still a good portion size of the cod. My partner ordered the house burger. It was cooked well, no complaints. We will definitely be back.
