It's been a quite a while since my fiance and I have gone for a night out. I made reservations for 815. But our movie didn't get out until till 835. They close the kitchen at 9 PM. I called and let them know that we would be late they said they could still accommodate us. When we got there we ordered our food and drinks right away, it was 8:57. Normally we would have just skipped the reservation altogether, but it was a special night for my fiance and I. Not only was the service top tier, the food was delicious, and the selection was amazing. By far the most outstanding service I have received in years. ❗️❗️❗️Shout out to Isaiah who took very good care of us, and made the best drinks I've had a long time. Thank you for your kindness. ❤️

This place should be a 5 star! HOLY COW! with the Amazing prices, loving staff, GREAT FOOD! We had our 9 year wedding anniversary here last night and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the ANNIVERSARY dessert! We also had some snobby rich people behind us complaining...... It was annoying but the waiter handled it like a pro. He deserves a raise.

Had a glass of Prosecco and watched the sun set. Mellow, relaxing vibe with outstanding view. Full disclosure, I didn’t have any food, but I heard couples at both tables near me talk about the food being really good.

The restaurant is part of the hotel and is on beautiful grounds. We came with our family including a small baby. We ordered about half the menu and overall we all had a lovely time. The clam chowder was nice as were the oysters, the greens salad, and the crab cakes. We found the smoked fish starter to be too salty for our taste. I liked all the berries in the fruit cup for the baby. The mains were all excellent, especially the vegetarian option which is all too often an afterthought. I also especially enjoyed the lamb main. The staff were, in my opinion, the true standout of this establishment. They were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and skillful. It was like watching a well oiled and practiced orchestra! I recommend this place and I certainly wouldn’t mind returning!

This place was 10/10 on every level! Looked for a spot to eat lunch before catching a flight at the Bellingham Airport. I wanted someplace on the water. This restaurant is inside the hotel. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The atmosphere, the view, the service, the food was spectacular! I highly recommend this place to anyone. It is a higher end casual place. Now when I fly to Bellingham, this will be my go to spot.

This place was to die for!! We did the preset $29 3-course meal and were shocked by the portions for such a cheap price! I started with the salad & got the shrimp scampi for my main. My mom got the chowder & the chicken (it was essentially a Marsala) for her main. I was u dee the impression my scampi was going to be pasta, as shrimp scampi is almost always shrimp over angel hair noodles, but instead they brought out of a bowl of shrimp in a lemon garlic sauce & a separate plate with some Brussel sprouts & mash potatoes. Not at all what I was expecting and a super odd way to serve it but it was delicious! We ordered some drinks too, and my moms chocolate martini was so good she had to get two! We’ll be back soon! Highly recommend!

THANKSGIVING BUFFET: 11/23/23. My husband, myself, our daughter and father in law had our Thanksgiving dinner at Lighthouse Bar and Grill. It was very expensive, $75 a person not including tax. However, we decided to splurge for this special holiday since no one wanted to cook. FOOD: We were all very disappointed for different reasons. 1. Many of their dishes had nuts added to it. My daughter is allergic to nuts and I being elderly have a condition that requires me not to eat nuts or seeds. (Sweet potatoes had nuts, stuffing had nuts, some deserts had nuts and many of their salads had nuts) 2. The roast beef was fatty and had a weird seasoning on it. 3. The salmon was overcooked with a tough skin. 4. Green Beans were way under cooked and crispy. I ate mine with my fingers and not a fork since they were that tough. 5. Not a very good selection of deserts, mostly finger food and not any chocolate choices, again some with nuts. 6. Rolls were a spongy square and had no taste. 7. Only pie choice was an over cooked pumpkin pie pieces that had sat too long under the warming light. TWO GOOD POINTS: The Turkey and Ice Tea was VERY GOOD! SERVICE: FAIR, They didn't have to do much but fill up your drink cups since it was a buffet. Our first server didn't even fill our tea up all the way, 2/3 of the way and a smaller size drink cup. He also didn't come around much. Our second server was better. Also, they required a 20% tip if you used a card to pay and add a tip. We used our card but left cash for the tip. AMBIANCE: This was fine. The restaurant is located at the Marine with large glass windows. Our table was not at the windows but by the fireplace where it was way too warm. Perhaps, if you sat somewhere else that would have been solved as well. Next year we will be going somewhere else. The price charged was way over what one would expect for an expensive Thanksgiving dinner.

Good food, great service, coffee a bit lackluster. Has a really nice view though and the dining room is nice. We'd definitely come again, but will know not to expect much in the coffee department.

Enjoyed Happy Hour and dinner at The Lighthouse Bar & Grill while staying in The Bellwether. The calamari was excellent, good drinks, great service. Quiet bar with an amazing view.

this was my best restaurant experience of my life. that coming from a previous restaurant GM. super real people who were so authentically nice working there, look straight into your eyes and mean what they say people. amazing waitstaff , accommodating, polite, and kind. the drink list was inspired and off the charts. the mimosa comes the exact way it should, yet i’ve never had it served this way: a full glass of champagne with a side carafe of fresh squeezed OJ. then the espresso martini, which topped every drink i’ve ever had. the mussels were tender and delicious, served with crumbled bacon, shallots, and flat leaf parsley in a white wine butter sauce. the sauce was so good we dipped the focaccia into it. yummm. the steak was on point with quality meat , a rocking demi-glacé, and cooked to a perfect medium rare as I requested. the fries were just right, thick and not overdone. the fireplace, the fresh lilies on our table, and the surrounding windows with views of the boats coming and going from the harbor offered the ambiance that kept us in wonder of the beauty of bellingham. the manager Jim was sincerely welcoming and had eyes that told the truth. his visit to our table invoked conversations of alaska experiences of his and ours - where we have both spent time and where we call home. honestly, go here. the prices are modest. the view is the best in bellingham, the waitstaff are topnotch, the food is perfect, the drinks are special. thank you lighthouse, you’re our favorite place now. too bad we don’t live in bellingham. but we will be back !!

I had high hopes for this place and was incredibly disappointed. We met friends for happy hour on a Thursday night. We ordered several things and none of them were good. The calamari was so thin it tasted like you were just eating fried flour, the crispy ribs were dry and tasteless, the salmon cakes were just dry and plain. The drinks were $14 and all of us were questioning whether there was any alcohol in them at all. I am a light weight and usually one drink makes me tipsy. I felt nothing. My husband and I walked out of there spending $90. The only thing we liked was the fire pit outside the restaurant and the view. We are fairly new to Bellingham and won’t be returning there or recommending that place to anyone.

Unfortunately it was extremely smokey (mid October) when I went so the views were non-existent, but obviously no fault to the establishment. I sat at the bar and had 2 lovely cocktails. Dessert was fantastic! Perfect place for a solo dinner to enjoy a book and treat yourself to dinner.

I had to come back to this lovely place. Absolutely amazing. Customer service is absolutely outstanding. Reminds me a bit of Ritz.. 100% recommended it.

The food was top rate! I loved it! I'm not much of a Thanksgiving turkey kind of gal and their Thanksgiving spread was phenomenal! They had it all at their Thanksgiving buffet. From giant crab legs, amazing salmon fillets, to every kind of salad you could hope for, a beef roast cooked to perfection, and turkey. I couldn't even get to all the side dishes and don't even get me started with the array of fabulous desserts! The wait staff were just as pleasant as could be, the managers were on the floor and so hospitable, and I had a chance to meet the chef who was not only gracious but, really outdid himself. I highly recommend this restaurant. I did not stay in the hotel this trip but, I vacation for the food of things and will stay next year. Beautiful hotel, lobby and grounds.

Saturday brunch on the patio. Nice water view, with sailboats out on the bay, and boats channeling past, heading to open water or back to the marina. Limited menu for lunch brunch and the food was good. Looked around at the inside seating. Definitely looked comfortable, could be a romantic setting and might have a sunset view, however we were out on the patio for lunch.

If you are looking for a fun and unique space to enjoy dinner, this restaurant will be the perfect choice. The marina scene creates a romantic and beautiful space, allowing you to enjoy the sea air right in the heart of the city.

Food was all around amazing. Oysters needed a bit of fresh horseradish but other than that a perfect dinner. I had the pork chop and it was cooked to perfection. The French fries were perfect and my husband finished the burger without me getting a bite. Our dog got her own water bowl and the creme brulee was creamy. Cocktails were well rounded. Will come again.

Trimmed down menu undoubtedly makes it easier on the kitchen. Same great quality, just a little different layout. Still hoping they find another pastry chef to match dessert to dinner.
