It’s always a great time at the Fireside! Friday nights are filled with music artists, good food and best drinks ever!! Come say Hi to DeLane, he’s the best!!!

This little Jim makes you forget you’re the middle of a strip mall. Decorations, seating arrangements, the bar, the service — all of it adds up to a great time out of the town. Even the small plate menu is starting to spend a little bit and that’s a good thing. The only downside is I feel the live music volume is a little loud sometimes for this small venue. Save for that minor critique, we are lucky to have the Fireside amongst the many cocktail destinations in Whatcom county.

Amazing drinks and food, great atmosphere, and awesome live music every Friday. The only thing better than all of this is the amazing staff. Our favorite place to go out for a drink! Try the royal dip and any one of the incredible cocktails!

It was advertised as live Jazz music that night and we only heard a couple jazz songs. Food was good. Drinks were better.

Want an authentic cocktail experience without the “Hipster Vibe”, Fireside is the place for you. My wife and I enjoy our “adult beverages”. In the age of the “craft cocktail” you see bars come up with some drink weird ingredients for drinks to be different, but we have found many places are just looking for a hook to draw people in. We prefer more classic cocktail bars. The Comstock in San Francisco or Zig Zag in Seattle come to mind. Having sampled many of the new places in Bham, Fireside definitely fits the more “old school” vibe. Don’t get me wrong, the owner offers a wide variety of drinks using all the light and dark liquors (including absinthe), but they are just presented in a more classic way. No need to Google a random ingredient someone put in your cocktail to figure out what you are drinking. Fireside presents itself as a music themed neighborhood bar. They have live music and the performance area has a “living room” vibe. If there is no live music, there is always something tasty playing on the sound system. The food is simple and good. We tend to do a charcuterie board, “The French” flatbread (Brie and apples) and a Caesar salad. One of the things I appreciate most about Fireside is the owner has held the line on prices. I recently asked the him why he had not raised prices. He told me he knew his customers were getting killed by today’s high prices and he did not want to add to their pain. You have to love a business that thinks about their customers! Head on out to Fireside, for some great cocktails, tasty grub, friendly staff and to support a business that is not engaging in what I call “Greedflation Pricing”. You won’t see any $18 drinks or grossly inflated food here.

Love this place! Classic martini bar with an extensive cocktail menu and some tasty bites. Excellent service and comfy seating, some actually around a fire. Great place to go for a drink and conversation 👌

Had an excellent lemon drop, plus the artichoke dip appetizer, which was small but very good. Service was friendly but not overbearing. I'll be back.

Five stars all around for this locally owned gem. Owner De Layne and staff will make sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. Often featuring local artists for the proper wine, dine and show experience. The’ll make your old faithfuls, or whip up a new cocktail you didn’t even know was missing in your life. This place is a must for locals and visitors alike to the city of Subdued excitement.

The owner is one of the most amazing people I know. The food is great, and for a quick bite, they have some excellent appetizers. The drinks are to die for, and he is passionate about his cocktails. It is refreshing to find someone who loves what they do. Also, they are now open on Sundays from 12 to 6pm. Possibly adding a brunch item or items soon. Websites still say closed but will be updated soon. Enjoy the personal atmosphere while it lasts, when people find out their open on Sundays I am sure it will get busy.

I hesitate to recommend this jewel....the capable bartender and beautiful hostess, goes with a serious menu and vibe. Leave room for me and my quick drop in's or, better known as, pit stops...

Husband and I drove around for a bit looking for somewhere other then red robins to eat for dinner while in town and staying near the mall, we happened upon this little place, and well it was just what we were looking for, super chill, great martinis, and yummy food! Definitely will be back next time we are in town!!

First let me say been in the restaurant industry for years its hard work so I am very understanding when it comes to restaurant work. Now my experience, looking for a place to celebrate my birthday thought this would have been a great spot. Nope! I know when you are being ignored , when the person walks by you 3 times and no acknowledgement but ask the person 4 seats down if they are ready for another cocktail before I was even asked for 1. Their loss because my sound like bragging but I will spend 100.00 to 150.00 on just myself and to 30% .. you know that famous line saying, big mistake BIG!

There were many yummy drink choices on the menu and the martinis that we ordered were delicious! The leek/potato soup was outstanding, as was the flatbread - can't remember the name, but it was the one with pears/balsamic vinegar/onions. There are other items on the menu that that we would like to try so we will definitely come back!

What a great atmosphere! The only thing more amazing than the food is the staff! Inquired about a daily special and was surprised with a wonder spaghetti.. yes.. spaghetti. One of the best I have ever eaten at a restaurant! A cozy place to sip, snack or enjoy a full meal.
