This is such a cute little shop in a cute area.of town. The ice cream is delicious... we had the chocolate malt, mint chocolate chunk, and coconut chocolate chunk with almonds. All of them were great!

The white chocolate mocha and rocky road flavors were incredible! I really appreciate how strict this establishment is with mask-wearing and enforcement. They rock!

We were in town for a wedding and decided to try some local ice cream. This place was fantastic! Every other town seems to have their own local favorite, and I have been to a few, but this one stands out!! Friendly and helpful staff, a fun vibe, and the standout was delicious and interesting ice cream flavors, plus the option of half-scoops for us ‘indecisives’!! I just wish I had one of these where I live. Big props to the staff for keeping the lights on so late during the summer!

@mallardicecream ft coconut chocolate chunk with almonds and cardamom Recently went down to Bellingham for hikes and came across this place. They had quite a few interesting flavours. I liked cardamom out of the two flavours I tried, as I love chai and cardamom could be a spice used in chai. It had a good kick to it!

Tasty local ice cream shop. Walk up service with unique flavors. Flavor samples are not being offered at the time. The had beet ice cream and one with cinnamon. I like the flavor combinations they recommended on the menu board. The split cone is a nice choice for one scoop with two flavors. I tried lemon and cheesecake, which were ok. The Oreo and coffee combo was much tastier!! Enjoy

Always delicious! I love mallards. I personally don’t think it’s too sweet and they always offer interesting flavors. I got the Beets and Assam Tea. The Assam tea tastes like black bubble milk tea! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and want something sweet!

Before Covid-19 this was a great place for family celebrations. A place to hang out and play games. The current policy of take out only for over 2+ years!? Decent ice cream but not enjoyable at 30 degrees outside/takeout only. Outdoor seating with heating was rubbish. I understand government regulations and concerns but they went well beyond health department guidelines Not for us again.

Finally made it back after a few years and Mallard's still has the best coffee ice cream I have had anywhere. No more indoor dining, but they have covered seating outside. They do require masks but provide them at the entrance.

Almost as good as always, except they were out of waffle cones today! They always have such creative flavors, and new ones you would never think of, like dill, olive oil, cardamom, etc. Of course they have the old standby’s like strawberry and vanilla, which are very good as well.

One of the best places for ice cream. The flavors are so bold and delicious, better than any other named brands. You have plenty of flavors and seasonal varieties to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store has excellent ambiance and you have lot of board / card games to play while you are at the store.

Cute ice cream place with lots of board games and place to grab ice cream with friends, kids and hanging out as a group. I got the ice cream flight and they tasted so so good! Mango, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate and Cookie Dough. All of them tasted great, my fav was definitely the Mango, don't miss if you love Mango 😀

A uniquely Bellingham experience not to be missed. Festive seasonal flavors such as Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie along with many other unique choices. Fun colorful atmosphere featuring with a rubber duck collection. Also one of the only ice cream places open late on a Tuesday night.

The decor is very cute but unfortunately the customer service is lackluster. We came in Friday evening and we had high expectations due to the high reviews. There was a line but it was quickly our turn. The lady asked what we wanted to sample and I asked to sample the coffee cold brew and the strawberry pie. They were delicious and I wanted to sample more but she said no more samples?? I’ve never met an icecream place that did this. It was our first time and there were a variety of flavors so of course we wanted to sample more considering there were three of us. Because we were rushed we just ended up getting a single cold brew cone. The icecream was good but I’ve had better customer service at McDonald’s. By the look of other reviews customer service seems to be a reoccurring issue. Additionally we went to sit but the white seats were sticky and quite dirty. Needless to say we will not be back.

A great local ice cream spot with an eclectic vibe, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff. You can choose from sugar cone, waffle cone or a cup for your ice cream and there is no additional charge for the waffle cone. Pricing is on par with local made ice cream or gelato places, $4 for a kids scoop and $6 for a regular scoop. I ordered the honey and Assam tea ice cream and it was delicious; tasted like a frozen version of Hongkong milk tea or bubble tea. Lots of traditional flavors and creative flavors to choose from.

Well deserved 5-stars. Really nice atmosphere, a lot of cute ducks around, and great ice-cream. They have the tables inside and outside, the clean restroom and the additional sinks (absolutely wise move considering the children as the customers).

Super cute spot! Outdoor coveted seating. Colorful and welcoming indoors. Games and such to play. A lot of unique options for flavors! Maybe a little on the pricey side, but it's a nice treat to support local.

Beautiful place with a great aesthetic. My only complaint is that the caramel in my Sunday was kind of grainy ):

This place is awesome. There are so many flavor options and all are delicious. The customer service is always friendly. I highly recommend stopping by this place. We go every time we're in the area

Best ice cream in Whatcom County, try to change my mind. They have some crazy, fun, and amazingly good flavors. My favorites are cayenne-chocolate, ginger, and ghost chili lime ice cream's, that only Mallard's makes. Bomb dot com 😁

Nice specialty ice cream place we stopped at when in Bellingham and the mood hit for ice cream. A good selection of flavors but only tried the cheesecake. The place appeared popular and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is covered street seating. Games availables. Broad range of customers from ages, couples, younger people, grandparents with likely grandchildren and families.

Not sure why this place gets such good reviews. The ice cream was fine but if you’re going to have intricate/ quirky flavors I feel like you should allow samples for customers. Also the topping selection wasn’t great. Still don’t take out and no dine in, and masks

YUM. If you don’t try the cardamom olive oil ice cream, you’re doing it wrong. Unless of course you go for the honey lavender in which case, you’re excused. I went for both and did not regret it! So so dang good, creamy, and creative flavors. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and I’ll be craving the cardamom ice cream all year.

Appreciate they require masks which is impressive considering other businesses are acting as it Covid is over when it’s not. They even have masks available by the entrance. But unfortunately it was very loud and difficult to hear the employees and they couldn’t hear customers. They need to turn down the music. I can’t speak for the ice cream but the sorbet was pretty terrible. Hard as a rock and flavorless. Only giving them four stars because they require masks and should be acknowledged for that.
