Loved that they had three vegan pastries, including a savory one! They say they have a lot of vegan friendly options for food, and I'm sure they do, but as a vegan I get really tired of having to try and tweek the menu or asking for substitutions; it would be nice to have them labeled. Still great service, cute little space, and good pastries.

I came here for the first time a few days ago. The coffee was great and I got a breakfast burrito. Fun little café in Fairhaven to try out for sure. No seating at the restaurant but you can sit inside the building courtyard or outside if the weathers nice. The lady was super nice and they had pastries and apple juice for the kids.

Located just as you walk into the Sycamore Square Building on 12th and Harris, you'll find the best pastries you've ever had in your entire life. Guaranteed Shirlee gets up at 4am each morning to prepare them just for you. I can't say enough about the apricot Nutella pinwheel and her Croissant breakfast Sando. The flavors, the portion, and the flakiness of that croissant will blow you away. Grab yourself a spot out front on the sidewalk for some of the best people watching, or go inside to the gorgeous 3 story indoor plaza and it's incredible light and woodwork. I visited Shirlee several mornings in July for that Americano and her smile. Her energy will kick-start your day, that croissant will satisfy your morning hunger pang, and that pastry… well, it will put a skip in your step! Highly recommend you stop here!

I love the coffee and pastries here. So, I really wanted to love the salad. It’s so hard to find a good affordable salad in Bellingham. I’m willing to pay more if it’s good, but this was not it. It was sad to have to pay $13 for this.

Stopped in to check out the raved about goodies here. Amazing beautiful looking and tasting pastries and breakfast foods. Atmosphere in indoor seating area historic and charming. Fun merch and great engaging owner. A must visit in Fairhaven.

Got a bagel sandwich and a crinkle cookie. Both were AMAZING and not just your ordinary! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will go back!

Sorry the pastries looked beautiful but the ceiling fan is filthy and blowing right over the uncovered food! I was disgusted and couldn't get past that. I wanted to try something but just no. Sorry.

We are always looking to try new bakery’s in Bellingham/Fairhaven. Loved the vegan options. The pastries have amazing flavor, I do wish that they could have been warmed up however, my family all enjoyed them. Coffee was pretty good too.

I love this cafe so much. The employees are so friendly and willing to make sure you get exactly what you want even if it requires a little experimentation. The pastries are also very tasty, especially the scones. They stand out to me by having the best chai mix out of every cafe I have been to in Bellingham, which they makes themselves. It’s perfectly spicy and worth the price.

Tiny order area maybe 2 people could stand there but inside the common arcade area plenty of seating and it's beautifully restored. Update: the sandwich I took for later on the ferry was good too. Thanks for that suggestion.

Omg. Amazing. Love Shirley! Love the coffee. And the food. And the vibe. All of it. The Chai tea latte was far and away better than all others I’ve had in Washington. This is the place.

I originally posted a 1 star review for the meta feta salad as it was a bit anemic. Shirlee reached out to me, assured me that this was atypical, and offered me store credit. I am convinced that this is the sort of place that cares and will make it better. Thanks!

The barista’s attitude was ridiculous. She gave us short answers and was miserable the whole time. Like I know we can in at 4:25 but come on, at least be a little polite. She didn’t even fill our lattes all the way. She was wearing a striped turtle neck with a brown shirt on top. Her coworker was very nice though.

The barista who made my latte had a sour attitude for no reason, she rushed and made my coffee poorly. She was wearing a stripped turtle neck and brown shirt on top. I hope her day gets better but I don’t like being treated like that. Literally isn’t full.

This is a one of a kind place. Great coffee and pastries with super friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to come back and try more stuff!

Super cute small coffee shop. The baristas are super nice and quick with service. Highly recommend the burrito with bacon, they put it in a panini press so it's crunchy!

Amazing pastries and drinks. The perfect spot to grab a quick bite or pick me up. Love that this place feels like a real coffee shop and the people that work there are always very attrentive.

Plenty of variety for a low price. Sandwiches, burritos, waffleinis. All of it is hot and fresh for a low price. They also have plenty of pastries with lots of variety. Although the store itself has no seating, there is plenty to go around inside the building. Would have again :)

Cute coffee shop and reasonably priced. Wanted to really love it - owner/worked seemed a bit distracted with a personal visitor hanging around the counter. Took a while to get our breakfast and then had to go back and ask for our hot drinks after we had finished our meal cause she had forgotten about them. But a cool location nonetheless and good food!

Had a coffee, a panini, and an incredible dessert pastry all made from scratch and served with a smile. Sat inside historic Sycamore Square building that you really need to see the inside of. They don't build them like this anymore.

Everything about this place will keep me coming back. Friendly staff, coffee, tasty food with some solid GF options and GF baked goods.

I always go here on Fridays to celebrate the end of my work week and it's the highlight of my week! The employees and owner are always so chipper and lovely to talk to and they're always playing catchy music and having a good time. Their sandwiches and espresso are divine, and though I haven't had their pastries (yet) they look INCREDIBLE. Please come to this adorable lil spot! Edit: last couple times I've found some bright pink hairs in my sandwich.... will still be coming back cause it's yummy tho but 😖
