Really cute place! Bright and open – tables were not too close together so you could study if you wanted or have a somewhat private conversation with your table. The breakfast sandwich and the sugar waffle were absolutely amazing. The coffee, on the other hand, was completely foul. I probably should have asked them to remake it but didn't feel like it would be any better so I actually dumped it out in the bathroom sink on my way out 😳😳 I would definitely go back but maybe just order tea next time!

Lovely space and people tending to it. My GF and I were very appreciative of how attentive the staff were about allergens and checking ingredients, we both know it's a pain sometimes. The space itself is laid out gorgeously and is very open and bright. The decor is pretty minimalistic yet still incredibly tasteful. The food was really good and perfectly priced in our opinion! The coffee was a rich profile and had a great taste. We hope to come back again on our forays up north because we love the mission of bring people together and pursuing creativity at Makeworth. Tldr: Highly recommend for food, coffee, and space!

06/24/23: I love this coffee shop‘s space which is big, cozy, and relaxing. The coffee itself is great and tasty. I got the expresso and it was quite dark and strong. I had to blend it with milk cream to enjoy. Overall, the staff was great and hospitable. Love coming to this awesome place

One of the most beautiful coffee shops I’ve been to! Very aesthetic. Even the cups are creative. Got the lavender latte with oat milk and it was very creamy and delicious and not overly sweet. Would come back to try something else from their menu.

Spent too much money here while my husband and I were in the area for a couple weeks. We are still missing the back to basics breakfast Sammies… 🥲 A great atmosphere to read, work or gather with friends. Lots and lots of space, quality coffee and delicious food options!

Beautiful, light, bright, airy space. Love the little touches that really make the space. Fantastic ice caramel latte with almond milk (not too sweet, just the right amount of caramel and good espresso taste). Excellent lox plate - loved the bagel it came on!!! A little thinner, nice chew but still soft while also nicely toasted. Great smoked salmon. Loved all of it. Ps that front window gets warm with the sun coming in! Lol

Place was always on the expensive side….. found out today they changed the menu and its now officially a rip off. $9 plus tax for the tiniest bacon & cheddar “sandwich”. Same price as before, smaller muffin, less egg, no arugula, no orange slices. Never again

I never write reviews, but the iced latte I got here was literally the best I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly and fast, the inside was open and bright, seating was plentiful, and the breakfast food (we tried tacos, a sandwich, and coffee cake) was literally outstanding, especially for coffee shop food. I frankly cannot recommend this place enough.

This review is going to be a bit lengthy as it will include the cafe as well as the Makeworth coffee that is roasted and brewed on-site, both of which are deserving of the 5-star rating. The cafe is one of Bellingham’s “must visit” locations. It is one of those places that bridges the gap between cafe and social club where anyone is welcome. The menu of both food and drink will have something for everyone. But may I recommend the autumn vanilla latte for first-timers, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, I must make mention of the staff. Rarely do I find a spot where everyone is nice, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. They literally have a “dream-team” and make this establishment the truly incredible place that it is. And now the coffee: usually when a cafe decides to venture into roasting its own coffees there is that learning-curve time where they get used to the equipment and the process. A good coffee to come out of that “breaking in” time is a rarity. But having purchased and tried every bean they offer, the coffees have been nothing short of exquisite from day 1!! I’m not sure what sort of dark secret incantations are infused into their coffees, but I am amazed. Two favorites would have to be the Ethiopian and the anaerobic process Colombian.

Makeworth is one of my favorite places to bring my laptop and work while enjoying delicious drinks and food. The space is bright with high ceilings and modern finishes. IT’s conveniently located a few blocks from my office (lucky me ☺️). The staff and ownership are always cheerful and professional. I’ve also been to a few private events and the space lends itself well to holiday parties, private shows etc… If you are new to town, it’s a great scene and I’ve met many new friends while there. I would recommend Makeworth to anyone without hesitation!

A best place to get your work and coffee done. The place has multiple seating options to choose from, and their food taste amazingly delicious. Highly recommended this place for some quick bites, good coffee and great views. The entire vibe of the place is amazing.

This space is beautiful! The drip coffee l got was delicious and it's a very inviting space to work or to just hangout!

I got the chocolate croissant, it was good just not worth 7$. I also got an i ed matcha with light ice hit they filled it up all the way with ice. The interior is so nice and the staff is really sweet and friendly.

First time here... just moved up from So Oregon..and my friends recommended this place for hanging out with a good cup of coffee. The flat white was very good 👍. Didn't try the food. Why do all the coffee shops here feel like they have to get involved with politics? ( ie BLM, LGBTQ etc.). It's a coffee shop and I would like to simply enjoy my beverage without all the opinions ☺️. I was entertained by the view and the fact that people with grey hair were reading newspapers and checking snail mail while all the youngsters had laptops and phones 😁

One of the best coffeeshops in Bellingham. Not only do they do a great coffee, but the space is very ascetically pleasing. Lots of natural light, and great working spaces. They also serve beer, cider, and have a food menu. Always friendly service. They have an expanded food menu. Which is very seasonal, especially with the pastries. Pre-covid, they had later hours, I hope they come back eventually.

The most excellent honey lavender latte, served once to go and another time to stay. Both delicious and staff are engaging and accurate with order. The venue is bright and modern and comfortable inside and out. My new favorite coffee shop in B-town.

Passing through the area. Seems like the best cafe in the area, and it is. Good espressos with a very unique Mexican batch. Quick friendly service, huge space & windows, 2 floors, music isn’t overbearing, plenty of outlets. Sit here uninterrupted for as long as you’d like 🤙🏼
