Horrible experience with staff and the rooms are far from the Marriott standard. Mold and mildew smell throughout the room. Office staff refused to transfer rooms upon reasonable request. They refused to transfer me so I requested to check out and they refused a refund. It was not worth the energy to argue with them anymore. I promise you will have a much better experience up the road. Update: I had my colleague stay there recently and somehow we both got on topic of our horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!

We had a great stay here over memorial day weekend. The location is easy to find, although a long walking distance from "downtown". Fortunately the hotel had bikes we could borrow and we had a great little ride to a couple of breweries. We would certainly stay here again.

Very comfortable room, and the bed was wonderful! Everything was very nice, and I would stay again. A caution, though, is that while you're there, things are expensive!! An older on-demand movie is $20 on the room TV, and the breakfast service is expensive as well. $4 for cereal, for instance. The coffee is free and quite good. The folks working there are very nice.

Great location (with easy I-5 access) close to the University. The staff members are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Rooms are cozy and fairly well kept. There was some mold under the edge of the bathroom counter and the floor of the bathtub was very slick and slippery. (It needs a non-slip pad or some treatment to make it safer.) There is a good restaurant attached and it is close to other restaurants and markets. Being dog friendly is a plus. 🐕

The hotel wasn't exactly as I had hoped for being a Sheraton. I was really hoping it was more like a 4+ star or more as its rated however personally I would only give it a 2.5 or 3 at BEST! It wasn't very clean. The bathroom floors (baseboards and corners) were dirty as well as the toilet lid...obviously it was just a quick clean and not done very thoroughly. My white blankets etc. had stains on them as well as the carpets. I personally wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Another thing that I noticed when I first walked in was that the entrance/lobby was dirty had some loose garbage and leaves which I initially thought ok well its near the door, but when I checked out and left the next morning the same garbage and leaves were still there. So obviously they didn't have someone cleaning the property or lobby for 24 hrs? Not a very good impression in my opinion.

Lots of parking and it's free. Just need a parking note from front desk to put on the Dashboard. Staff at the front desk are helpful and make you feel at home. Rooms are very clean and neat. The hot tub and the pool was refreshing and relaxing. This was our second visit and will definitely be back in September for the Bellingham Bay marathon.

Worst experience I've ever had. My friend and I booked us a mom's night away, we're in our 40s and not out of control partying. When we checked in the front desk person was extremely rude. We took our things up to our room then went to the restaurant to eat. The waiter told us that the front desk had told them we were not allowed in the restaurant. We asked why and was told that front desk said we seemed drunk and we asked if we could just eat. They said no. In shock we went back to our room trying to figure out what to do for dinner and suddenly a knock on the door. Front Desk guy with his manager said we had to leave our she'd call the police. We were so confused and humiliated. To boot they charged me for the room we were in for an hour! I wish I had let them call the police on a couple for 47 year old moms trying to have a fun night. The manager told me i should be ashamed of myself as a mother. I was so in shock crying and kept asking why they were treating us so horribly and they just kept said "leave leave" never ever in my life have I been treated like this. I'm a responsible mom and a nurse, she had no right to say these hurtful things to us. Awful awful awful and unacceptable.

I always stay here when I visit Bellingham. Great front desk service, really nice bar and restaurant, clean rooms. The only thing is that many of the rooms surround the pool in an atrium layout and the noise from the pool can be an annoyance. So be sure to get a room in the part of the hotel that is away from the pool.

Very clean and comfy! We had reservations for the quality inn in Bellingham. What a joke that was. Toe nail clippings on the bed, the fridge in the room had a smell that made me regret immediately opening it. We left there and came to Four Points. $5 more a night, but the difference between the two were night and day! Will definitely stay here again when staying in the Bellingham area. Oh! And the pool was awesome and warm! Keep up the good work guys!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Liam was definitely the highlight. From the very second I walked in, he was extremely courteous, welcoming, professional, and funny. One of, if not the best person I have ever met! Would recommend this place to everyone!

Great location and some updated features. Rooms are updated and look freshly painted. Entry way is remodeled and the breakfast was good. Overall the hotel was a little older with older fitness center and common area. Hot tub and pool area are both inside. The hot was under repair when we were there so we skipped the pool.

Absolutely terrible experience. Booked a one room suite. When we got to the hotel they had “overbooked” and gave our room away. Gave use a tiny room with one bed. When they eventually gave us a room, we went to go in and the key didn’t work. Went down and got the keys fixed only to find out the room was OCCUPIED. Finally got into a room bur not what we asked for. Will never stay here again.

I'm staying here for a week or so. This is a hotel, unlike some places I've stayed. Modern and clean with a restaurant bonus points there. The other restaurant here is under construction and I can't wait to see it. The area sucks homeless and drugs but that's everywhere these days.

Wonderful Hotel. I was in Bellingham for work, so at stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was extremely welcoming. Ian had a great energy and made me feel at home despite being 1500 miles away. Check in was quick and easy. The room was one of the better ones I had ever been in compared to other Four Points. I recommend trying the attached B-Town Kitchen and Raw Bar. Excellent food and better service.

This is a great hotel. Very comfortable bed, heating/air conditioning worked, bathroom was modern and functional. Service (at the desk and by staff) was prompt and friendly, breakfast good as well. Has an indoor pool, somewhat small, good size for kids. Not a fancy place, but Bellingham has lots to offer, so you just need a place that is comfortable and this is.

My first visit to the Four Points and I was super impressed. They have a gorgeous lobby with two-sided fireplace, curved staircase backed by a waterfall, a large welcoming breakfast area, and nice front desk. I attended a meeting there and felt the room was very nice. It looks like they had lots of other meeting rooms available so this would be a great place to hold a small conference or business meetings.

This is a nice hotel . Not to pricy. Has a bar and breakfast. Very pretty decorated and nice rooms. Lots of potential. Place is 5 mins or closer to downtown. Clean and welcoming environment.

There’s a good reason I stay with Marriott without hesitation. Each facility is always well kept and well managed, this was no exception. The hotel is in a convenient location right off I-5 and near a grocery store as well as other small shops/quick bites. It’s not central Bellingham nor does have a beautiful waterside view, but it was a good place to stay for a couple nights. Loved the attached restaurant B-Town. It’s among the best food I had during my stay and just so happened to touch the hotel. That was a huge perk. My only real disappointment was the actual rooms. There were incredibly bland and kind of dark. No overhead lighting, just lamps. Furniture wasn’t really inviting - looks stiff and small - but it was there and everything seemed clean. Just didn’t have the bright and welcoming vibe I expect from lines like Marriott and Hilton. Not a deal breaker, but with the lobby area as nice as it is, I wish they look to update the rooms.

This is where I choose to work. After being with the company 7+ years at this location I've seen its ups and downs. But thru it all I've really grown to love both the building, and the people I work with. It's a fast paced inviorment full of its own difficulties. But I can assure you that if you stay with us, the hearts of the staff are in the right place. We want to create for you a comfortable night's stay you can can rely on. And we strive every day to do our job better than we did the last time.

My wife and I chose the Sheraton Four Points Bellingham for 2 specific reasons: I am a Bonvoy Titanium member and favor Marriott family brands when possible, and they have an onsite bar and restaurant that was supposed to be open—advertised until 9:00pm. We arrived at the hotel about 7:00pm and checked in. Everything about the hotel, lobby, room, etc., was fine, if unexceptional. After settling quickly in the room, we went to the bar, at about 7:35pm. We were looking forward to relaxing at the bar for an hour or so, over a couple of drinks. When we sat at the bar, we were told by one of the two bar tenders on duty they would be closing at 8:00pm. When I asked why they were closing early, the response was words to the effect, "the kitchen has been having trouble all day." We did not require the services of the kitchen. We did note a customer came in at about 7:50pm, asked if they could order food, and were told yes, but only for take-out. The two bartenders were clearly eager to complete the closing work and get the remaining customers (us and a few others) and themselves out of there are quickly as possible. We were not made to feel welcome, but rather felt rushed. Trouble in the kitchen has no bearing on the ability of the bar to continue serving drinks for another hour, per their advertised operating times.

Great location and service! Room was clean and we had a restful night. Mr. Chaz, the front desk personnel, was so helpful accommodating our needs. He made sure we had everything we need from bed to toiletries.

As a Marriott employee, I was very impressed by this location. The pool is clean, the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our room was beautiful although the PTAC made a very loud noise and we found hair in our shower in multiple spots. Per my Marriott account I had a request for extra towels and extra pillows, neither were delivered prior to arrival, but things happen. Only thing I was really upset about was housekeeping knocking on my door after I had ensured I requested a complementary 1 PM check out. Both my husband and I had just woken up and we’re naked under the covers, had she actually walked in more, I would have thrown the biggest fit. Outside of that, we had a fabulous time, and we are already returning in less than two months.

Probably the best place to stay in Bellingham for the money. My wife and I have stayed here dozens of times over the years and any issues were quickly taken care of. The location is great. We've stayed at the Sheraton in Anchorage Alaska dozens of times and this place is very comparable. Would definitely recommend.

The worst hotel I have ever visited in my life. From the first moment we reached the place till the last moment we left it (two nights during our transit in Toronto) we never felt confortable or satisfied. It was a very bad expereince and a big mistake that we selected this place to stay in. 👎👎

Stayed last night, this hotel is quickly becoming my favorite in Bellingham. The lobby is very well appointed & cozy. Check-in with Chaz was effortless & friendly. The room is spacious, well designed & most of all super clean without lingering chemical odors. Also, I believe the mattress to be the most comfortable I’ve found in ANY hotel which speaks volumes because I didn’t wake up with terrible back pain, yay! Haven’t tried the restaurant but will… LOVED that the gym is 24hr access & it has the perfect amount of equipment for one (me, lol!). Keep up the good work! 👍👍👍

Worst hotel ever! Smelled like a covered up crime scene! Cheap cleaning mixed in with bleach! Too bad they didn’t clean the room at all. Mold and mildew smell throughout. Couch was disgustingly filthy. Carpet was dirty. Shower and bathroom was moldy. I can’t believe they charge $200 for our room. Never stay here again.

You get NO Room service, unless you request it 24 hours in advance at the front desk. Although we requested every night of our 7 night stay, they missed cleaning our room. So, I was told they have a limited staff, as if that is my problem. They gave no credit. The manager did bring us towels. I had to get a trash bag from the front desk to empty out trash cans myself. This happened a year ago NEVER AGAIN

We were in town for a wedding and we’re looking forward to staying here since it had good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not great. We were checked in 45 minutes late due to room not being ready. I was told the room I had takes 2 people to clean and they were short staffed. We were given some complimentary breakfast after my wife requested it for the hassle of trying to keep our toddlers busy for the extra time after a long flight and drive. When we entered the room we immediately noticed the dirty and stained couch. We were told we couldn’t switch rooms because the hotel was at full capacity. The air conditioning units seemed to be out dated and couldn’t keep our room cool. On our final night the ceiling began to leak on my wife’s head as we laid in bed. We told the front desk about that the next morning and they did take around $60 off our bill. The other rooms that our family stayed in seemed like they were in better condition. The breakfast was good and B Town bar had good food and drinks.

We enjoyed our stay here. The foyer is beautiful with a fireplace, waterfall and a piano in the curve of the grand staircase. Friendly staff, nice rooms and pool, yummy breakfast.

I typically like to wait until I have a couple nights into my stay to review, but when I get jolted awake at midnight by some drunkards partying on a Monday night, well, the 1 star rating comes out. I got into the room and found trash behind the TV, the fridge is on the floor and extremely small. You’d probably say in petty for complaining about the fridge, but with my Back problems it makes it extremely difficult to use it. There is pretty lame water pressure in my sink and shower. I had to really finesse the shower temp, if you move it a millimeter too far in one direction, you either freeze or burn yourself. The room was set at 76 degrees upon arrival. There was no body wash in a coworkers room. The Wi-Fi is extremely slow, and loses connection constantly. Now the reason why the review is getting done before I have completed my first night of a multiple night trip, and the reason the review is being completed at 12:30am on a Tuesday morning…the rooms all circle around the pool, which echos like crazy…so when a drunk yells at midnight from whatever floor…it echos throughout and now I am wide awake, very angry. It’s a poor design not at the fault of the staff, but if there are rooms that don’t surround the echo chamber, that’s where you should ask to be. Update: our crew checked out early and checked into another hotel for the duration of the trip. Upon checkout, we were never asked why we were checking out early or how the stay was. The gentleman was distant and a little rude.

On arrival I waited 10 minutes for the security to walk up to me and asked if I needed help.(The person behind the front desk was in the office and could clearly see and heard my companion and I standing at the front desk, but kept talking on her phone. From the sound of the conversation it was personal). The security walked up to the front desk and stated there's someone here. The person that was supposed to be behind the front desk yelled out " I'll be with you" and continued her phone conversation. After 5 minutes she came out. She then asked if I had a reservation, I stated yes. She then asked me for two pieces of ID. I presented my California Driver's license and my debit card. She then look for my reservation. She stated that my name was not on the credit card and she needed to see the card and the person who's name appears on the card. My daughter made the reservation for me and was home in bed. I phoned my daughter and explained what was said to me. I then put my daughter on the phone to speak with the person behind the front desk. She explained to my daughter that she needed to be present in order to honor this reservation. My daughter explained to the person behind the front desk that she was not told she had to be there. I stated that I'll go pick up my daughter and will return. On arrival back to the Sheridon, again no one was behind the front desk. I was speaking loud enough for anyone to hear. The same person came to the desk and my daughter explained the situation and took out her card. The clerk did not look at my daughter's card she proceeded to check me in. I believe she could have been a little more courteous and respectful but this experience was more than I expected to deal with being I was tired and I was not interested in debating with this clerk. I had a very difficult time falling asleep that night. This experience ruined my stay. It's the one and only time I'll ever stay at the Sheridon. Beverly D Lamb Thomas
