I
have
never
before
left
a
bad
review
anywhere;
that
is
not
who
I
am.
But
here
we
go.
This
was
the
worst
customer
service
experience
of
my
life.
The
front
desk
person
has
the
personality
of
a
moody,
eye
rolling
teenager,
despite
being
a
grown
man.
He
made
every
interaction
seem
like
I
was
such
an
inconvenience.
I'm
talking
basic
things
like:
booking
the
room,
checking
in,
or
getting
a
receipt.
Eye
roll.
Audible
sigh.
Presses
hands
to
temple.
What
a
child.
But
also,
the
first
night,
my
roommate
and
I
find
out
our
sink
was
completely
stopped
up...
next
morning
when
I
ask
for
maintenance,
the
front
desk
guy
tells
me
he
could
give
me
a
snake
so
I
could
snake
the
sink
myself.
What?
No.
I'm
not
gonna
do
that.
Later
that
day,
close
to
a
one
thousand
dollar
charge
hits
my
bank
account---two
rooms
for
two
nights
with
two
security
deposits.
He
had
billed
me
for
my
room
and
for
my
colleagues'
room.
When
I
tried
to
talk
to
him
about
this,
he
tells
me
that
there's
nothing
he
can
do,
I
have
to
call
his
manager
during
the
week.
What
are
you
talking
about?
Your
only
job
is
to
fix
things
like
this.
There's
nothing
you
can
do?
Don't
lie
right
to
my
face.
I'm
a
broke
student,
trying
to
attend
a
conference,
and
now
I've
got
$16.50
left
in
my
bank
account
and
somehow
I've
gotta
buy
gas
to
drive
home
to
Oregon;
but
I
guess
from
your
audible
sighs
and
eye
rolls
that
*I'm*
inconveniencing
*you*.
My
favorite
part
is:
I
had
to
leave
to
go
to
the
conference,
but
my
colleague---the
one
whose
card
wasn't
charged
because
he
charged
mine
twice---she
has
some
time
on
her
hands
and
tells
him,
"I'm
not
leaving
until
you
sort
this
out."
After
15
minutes
of
dragging
his
feet,
he
finally
does
fix
the
charge,
confirming
what
we
all
knew:
That
he
could
fix
it,
he
just
didn't
want
to.
I
don't
know
why
the
manager
would
put
up
with
this
guy
sending
guests
to
her
instead
of
just
fixing
things.
I
don't
know
why
anyone
would
put
this
guy
in
a
position
where
he
ever
interacts
with
any
person,
let
alone
a
position
where
it's
literally
his
only
job.
I
sure
hope
he
learns
someday
that
he's
making
his
life
much
harder
by
being
so
unpleasant.
But
I
doubt
it.
I
feel
like
such
a
Karen
writing
this
all
up.
So
I
have
to
remind
myself
I'm
asking
for
completely
normal
things
like
having
a
clogged
sink
cleared
and
to
have
an
accidental
debit
card
charge
corrected.
Long
story
short,
don't
stay
here.
