let's see. ive been going here for years, and suddenly, things started to go downhill. it started when my pcp told me i could walk in and get a pain relief injection in my arm for my migraines. she specified that i could walk in AT ANY TIME to get this injection. well, I'd scheduled an appointment, and while i was already there, i asked the nurse for the shot. she told me it had to be ORDERED and couldn't just be administered (which kind of defeats the purpose), and when i told her my practitioner said it was available to me whenever i need, she went out, talked to my provider, came back, and said she claimed she never said that. she most definitely did. speaking of that nurse, im transgender and my preferred name is incredibly important to me. yeah, the nurse didn't use it. we corrected her, she rolled her eyes. after we left, we called the front desk about it, and they said they'd "talk to her". next time i went - deadnamed. if this happens a third time i absolutely will not be back. i refuse to be in an environment where im uncomfortable and not given respect.

My son has undescended testicles that went unnoticed at many check ups. It wasn't until we recently switched clinics due to the new hires at Skagit family med becoming increasingly more unprofessional, our new Dr. At our new clinic discovered his testicles had not descended. He's 5. We've had multiple physicals done here for him all of which no one mentioned this. The receptionists at Skagit family med are also very rude. The only redeeming qualities of this clinic are Alina and Dr. Cowan. Practitioners here will pretend as though they can see your child's ear drum and miss the infection festering but tell you everything looks fine. I know this because I have had multiple instances here where I have brought my children in for ear infection like symptoms and it is missed by providers and then I end up in a different urgent care clinic within 24 hours where they're telling me that they can not see my children's eardrum due to earwax but they suspect a infection due to symptoms. If you can't see the ear drum, maybe don't pretend as if you had as that pretty unprofessional. I decided to leave this clinic as over the last few years the care has changed and I am glad that I did so as now my 5yr old needs to be seen by a urologist which should have happened 4yrs ago. I used to love this clinic, would recommend it to everyone I know but now I find myself telling people to be weary of the care.

I used to really like this place but they do not know how to properly provide referrals. Twice now they sent me for referrals but only send to new doc they do not send to insurance for approval. Last time it delayed my appointment by a month so far this time after 3 weeks my doc I was referred to canceled on me because they didn’t send to insurance for approval. I have something wrong with my knee, horrible pain for 11 weeks impacting my walking, sitting, sleeping everything. Nothing I do subsides the pain and when I saw them they barely looked at it, ignored my suggestions, didn’t care about the pain, referred me to PT then never sent the referral to them, took another week for them to send the referral then never sent to my insurance. They have no care about patients health but if you have a $3 balance rest assured they’ll call you weekly and charge a fee if you don’t immediately pay it. I will not be scheduling anymore appointments at this place and will be cancelling all future ones.

My family and I have been patients here for 15 years. We feel our choices are respected, which we value greatly. We love the small office feel, where they remember us and treat us with dignity, but also that they are able to handle all of our issues like the bigger clinics. We are grateful this clinic exists and we are able to be seen here.

The only reason we continue here is because we like Dr. Melnik. She is amazing and has great bedside manners. She seems very sincere. As for the front desk. They make it an extremely uncomfortable feeling and make you feel like you are a major inconvenience. They never greet you and you can always expect to stand around awkwardly until finally some walks over with an attitude to check you in. I came to this clinic after my doc of 25yrs retired. I am not used to such rude folks helping me with mine and my families health care. If the doctor we currently see there leaves I will not try another in that clinic. I will take my profitable health issues elsewhere. Somewhere I feel treats us like people and not an insurance claim.

My experience at this clinic is phenomenal. The staff are very professional, I adore my doctor. Michelle always takes time to listen and explain in details. Every time I have questions or concerns. Also, I have been very grateful that if they are not very busy they may provide same day appointments. My child and me, have been coming here for over a year, and I haven’t had a family doctor in a very long time. My child has had the same pediatrician since she was a baby, so when we moved here it was important for me to find caring Doctors and staff that would help us feel comfortable. In such, visiting this clinic always bring me a peace of mind. Always professional and very detailed with information. I personally recommend this family clinic! Thank you all for all the wonderful work you do!!!! 💕

My experiences have always been good at this clinic! Dr. Allison is the most caring Doctor I have ever been to! I followed her from Everett as she listened to me and got me the help I have needed!! The other Doctors I have seen were just as caring!

Always helpful and always able to be seen by doctors. They really care for patients and use a holistic approach, exploring more than one option for treatment. Overall I’m very happy with my service here.
