The Deception Pass Bridge in Anacortes is an architectural marvel that offers breathtaking views. Standing atop the bridge, I was in awe of the swirling currents below and the expansive vistas of the surrounding landscape. It's a sight that captures the imagination and leaves a lasting impression. Walking across the bridge is an exhilarating experience, with the sound of rushing water and the gentle sway underfoot. The engineering feat and the stunning natural backdrop make it a must-see attraction for visitors to the area. The bridge is easily accessible, and there are convenient parking areas nearby. Whether you're a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a memorable experience, the Deception Pass Bridge in Anacortes is worth a visit. It's a true testament to human ingenuity and the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

This was an absolutely beautiful place! There is a fun pathway on each side of both ends of the bridge to go and explore. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend visiting this spot at least once in your life! Even on a day with not great weather it was still gorgeous! Plus it is fun seeing all the harbor seals down below in the water occasionally!

It’s a decent drive from downtown Seattle but a really fun road trip along with amazing views of the pass. It can be windy so make sure you’re layered up or carry a jacket. To park in the parking lot you’ll need the Discover Pass, or just park outside on the side way.

There are rails along the bridge for pedestrians. It’s a two lanes bridge. We experienced the thrill of walking on the bridge, very windy but beautiful views from different angles.

The Deception Pass Bridge is so beautiful! It’s the connection between Anacortes and Oak Harbors. Many tourists, especially from Seattle and Vancouver B.C.go there for the shrimp and seafood nearby and go over this bridge to the state park to enjoy the picnic or day camp. While they are there, like us, we would stop by this beautiful bridge to enjoy the view. You can park on both sides of the roads before and after crossing the bridge, but not on the bridge. The public restroom is on your right-hand side as soon as you cross the bridge towards the state park (Oak Harbor) side. You can enjoy the view from above or hike down to the beach. You can see the bridge infrastructures and all.

Although small, there is a parking lot on either side of the bridge. It says the deception pass needs to be displayed on your vehicle. The bridge is breathtaking. There are numerous hiking trails on either side that offers stunning views of the beach, the bay and mountains. It is also possible to walk on the bridge.

AMAZING AND THRILLING. I am slightly afraid of heights and was proud of pushing myself to make the walk on the narrow walking path. It was worth it when I got to the middle and could see the full beauty of the Ocean, cliffs and boats.

The walk across the bridge was a little nerve wrecking but it was so worth it. Sunset was beautiful and seeing dolphins in the water was just an added bonus.

A historical bridge one shouldn't miss to visit. There are two parts of the bridges, there's ample parking space and a good spot for photo taking. Then you can experience a walk on the bridge or cross under the bridge. Nice place for nature lovers. Amazing nature.

Beautiful bridge. I couldn't walk across due to my fear of heights, my hubby and brother did. Something worth seeing!

Nice views on the bridge. Definitely worth a short stop to walk across the bridge. Show up a bit earlier during peak season or parking will be tough. Maybe 10am would be ideal.

This is an extraordinary place with breathtaking views. The water is quite clear and one can see the water quite far from the bridge. The hikes in the state park are also quite picturesque.

It's a bridge. But there are some short hiking trails there, too. We went into the national park and parked at West Beach. Busy but not as hectic as the parking lot up on the highway. The tide was coming in and the flow of water through the channel was amazing.

Great bridge and park area but def slightly terrifying to walk out across it haha - but no seriously it’s always worth the stop and can’t beat the view of Mt. Baker on a clear day. Take the time to hike down to the waters edge below for some added cardio.

Nice place to stop and explore. Getting up the trail on the way back was more challenging for me than I'd like to admit but glad we stopped.

Beautiful views on a summer day. Challenging with my accessibility walker, but we made it work. Disabled parking close to bathrooms, but not the bridge. And the bathrooms were dirty.

Beautiful scenery! Parking spots available on opposite ends of the bridge. There is a walkway that you can cross to use the restrooms.
