I’ve been to about twenty countries and this just might be my favorite restaurant on earth. Each day they serve a different four-item lunch that also includes a soup, your choice of three beverages, and a small dessert. Everything is so well-prepared, and made from fresh, quality ingredients. I could go on and on about how great this place is. The food is delicious. The owners are super nice. And there is such hard work and integrity on display. Nearly every table is occupied between noon and 1:00 PM because all the locals know how wonderful this restaurant is. And everything here is vegan, too!

Excellent food. The lady whom I’m assuming is the owner is ADORABLE! She was atentive to our needs and asked if they served us too much when we didn’t finish our meals. Plus she gave us an extra treat when we left. The frijoles soup is AMAZING!! They make it on Thrusdays 😉

My name is Maria. I consider myself a world traveler. I am vegetarian. I am in love with Colombia and my favorite city is Medellin. Whenever I go, once a year, I go to the same place to eat: The Tree of Life. It is the best vegetarian food I have ever eaten. My interest grew because of the delicious dishes that I try every time I go, and I know that they are 100% healthy, organic and, above all, cooked with a lot of LOVE.

The Menu of the Day was perfect. A great place for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Vegetarian food will please everyone.

Loved the Menu of the Day - a tasty, varied, quite colorful array of courses and food items. Certainly could make a non-vegetarian partake.

This place is a gem! They only do menu of the day but it was delicious 😋 We got a bean soup, main plate with aubergine ‘chichuron’ which was so tasty, a drink (you had two choices), a mini dessert and a herbal tea all for 25k per person

Food is good but beware that there’s no menu. Only menu of the day. So great for locals but not when you wanna have options. Portions are also small for the price. Also cash only and bank transfer. They don’t take cards.

We had excellent vegan 'Menu del Dia' including a soup, main course, some desert and tasty juice. Lovely place with very friendly staff. Highly recommend to give it a try!

Forty years. Again, that is 40 YEARS! That is how long this plant based restaurant has been in Medellin. During that time, the beautiful woman who owns the place has perfected the art of preparing delicious and nutritious plant based food. El menu del dia is served by her wonderful husband. Even when the place is busy, he has a way of making you feel like you are the only customer he has to wait on. Oye and the food. You can taste the love in every bite! If your journey brings you to Medellin be sure you make it a point to have lunch here!

A lovely vegan lunch spot, with healthy and delicious menú del día for a very reasonable price. A very welcoming couple run this place, she cooks and he hosts/serves and together they make a great team and a warm atmosphere. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with them. Would recommend to all and return again if we are ever in Medellin.

😠 We ordered a mixed ceviche and it was very acidic, you couldn't eat it, the presentation was terrible in a plastic cup. We paid 28,900 each and it was just onion, a small fish bite and 3 shrimp.

👍👍 This is a traditional Colombian restaurant. I went around 12:40 pm, it was crowded but there were available seating. I ordered bandeja paisa. Portions were large and food was delicious. I also ordered cola zero and they brought 300 ml large bottle. Unfortunately 10% tip is included. I don’t like res...

👍 Very nice food and very good service. It's a good restaurant for typical and authentic food, but it's a little bit pricey and the menu is rather limited.
