Absolutely excellent. Delicious, fresh, healthy foods and a great vibe with plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. My favorite breakfast spot in Medellin! I stayed nearby and came here every day for my morning coffee and breakfast. I ordered the Desayuno Smash and several different types of avocado toast, including Italiana, Clásica and Romana. My favorite was the Romana which has olive tapenade, pistachios, cherry tomatoes and basil. Also, get the vegan chocolate pancakes - you won’t regret it! The coffee is great too, I thought a latte ‘doble’ would mean it was a double shot or stronger coffee-wise, but it was just a larger size that came in a pint glass. Great value for the prices. Thank you Smash!! 🥑👩‍🍳 😘

I ate at Smash 4 of the 5 days I was in Medellin. The food is fresh, delicious, and top tier quality. I tried many different things and loved it all. The green salad with the passion fruit dressing and some grilled chicken was my favorite, but everything was so damn good.

A VEGAN PARADISE. This place is incredible. The acai boost smoothie is out of this world and most of the food is vegan or can be veganized and is super fresh. The service is always great and the staff are really nice. Highly recommend: -Tostada romana -Wrap vegano wth falafel with a side of sweet potatoes (the sweet potatoes are ON POINT) -Vegan bowl with any of the additions -Any juice but especially the Young Blood or Purify -ACAI BOOST SMOOTHIE (JUST GET IT)

The avocado toast was the most delicious thing we ate in Medellin! Definitely try it

The salmon tostada was absolutely delicious. It had cream cheese, marinated raw salmon, and smashed avocado, which is where they get their name. The Miami Vibes smoothie was also really good with a scoop of protein added. It was thick but still drinkable through a straw and it wasn't too sweet. A bit on the pricey side for the small size but very filling with the amount of avocado they provide for 9$US total including tip.

To everyone reading this review, all I can say is Smash (Laureles) is amazing! I haven't been to the Poblado one but this one is incredible! The food is so delicious! The whole concept of an Avocaderia is genius! The location is amazing! Good healthy food! Im staying in the apartment above it, and in all honesty its the convenience of having Smash on my doorstep that is stopping me from moving to a different apartment! What i mean by that is, im working remotely and im on calls regularly, i can literally send my order via WhatsApp (as im about to finish a call) and they'll have it ready within 10 minutes, so it saves me so much time! The Staff are so welcoming! If you're in Medellín, you have to visit Smash! To the Smash Team; Thibisay, Melissa, Karol, Jesus, Johan, Francia, Lizz, Whini, Oscar, Jeferson. Thank you for becoming a BIG part of my Medellín Experience! Seeing you guys everyday for breakfast and lunch, really made me smile!

You can’t really complain about this place. The staff are nice it’s a good place to do work. I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve eaten here. The date smoothie is quite nice. The salmon bagel is all right, but I prefer it in the wrap. The avocado ice coffee is really heavenly. It’s a place you can go to daily and be satisfied, whether for breakfast lunch or dinner. The pictures from this last time I had the smash bowl. It’s quite good and more filling than the wraps. From the wraps I like the salmon mango.

It’s a bit expensive for what it is, my chicken wrap had no flavor & it was quite oily. My juice tasted like beetroot and water ( couldn’t taste the ginger at all) let alone the other flavors. Service was nice, but I think you can get more for your buck elsewhere.

The falafel bowl, mint lemonade, and wrap are awesome. I also liked the key lime pie. They removed the menu of the day. The chocolate pancakes are pretty but a bit dry and dense.

I love this place! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This is my go-to restaurant in Columbia. For breakfast, the protein chocolate pancakes were amazing and not overly sweet, they also make a great avocado iced coffee. When I'm looking for dinner I'll come here for the vegano bowl with falafel. Yum!

Hit or miss. Had many meals there with my wife in the few days at the hotel just beside. Avocado Pancakes are good; protein pancakes are bad (strong taste of protein mix). french toast is bad (way to small of a portion and lacking in taste). Wraps are bad (tried two: both were filled with alot of lettuce more than anything else). Coffee is good. Tacos are good (tried two). Service is so-so. All portions without exception are too small. Do not expect to be filled if you have a big appetite. “Maple syrup” is not real maple syrup.

Decent food. Good Vegan Cheesecake The food is average. Nothing special. The restaurant feels kind of soulless. Like a machine churning out meals. Humus is good but they give you such a tiny amount. Burgers are good it’s just nothing special. The cheesecake is the only thing I can think and say yeah that was pretty darn good.

I wanted to leave a quick review for SMASH in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellin, Colombia. I’ve been staying at the lofts in the same building, so I’ve had the pleasure of eating at Smash at least once or twice a day for the last week. ☕️ First off, the food is amazing. I was so excited to see their ultra-fresh and healthy menu, with plenty of vegetarian alternatives. From smoothies to bowls, great coffee and salmon burgers, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying their grub. 🥗 I also appreciate their professionalism for a small café, with plenty of people working really hard, sometimes through the breakfast, lunch, and dinner shift, just to make patrons feel comfortable and well fed. 🍴 Melissa, Thibi, and Yennifer always have big smiles on their faces and make my day with a kind word or great new recommendation from the menu. ✌️ The staff back in the kitchen are so cool that they smile and wave even when I walk by outside! When you’re a stranger in a strange land, I can’t tell you how much you appreciate that friendship. 🙏 But the best part of Smash is the vibe – you can tell they focus on nourishing far more than just bodies, but acting as a welcome center and community hubs for us travelers, digital nomads, expats, and local Paisas. 😎 I can’t thank them enough for the food, the experience, and the pure Colombian warmth. 🥑❤️ 🇨🇴

What a fantastic place for fresh, healthy food! If you’re looking for a great salad and great combinations of juices and herbs, you’ve come to the right place. The Salmón toast is delicious with lots of marinated (think ceviche) salmon, and the pura vida salad is so tasty with the passion fruit (maracuya) dressing. I had it with a beet burger, equally great. The young blood juice with beet, carrot, apple and ginger is very yummy. I’ll be going back to try everything on the menu! Highly recommended.

While SMASH can boast of upbeat, pleasant staff and a pleasing indoor/outdoor atmosphere, for me, that’s where the story ends. I was surprised by how corporate and blaise both the flavor and the individual ingredients were. For a place that specializes in avocado, not even the avocado itself was of particularly good quality, and the guacamole 🥑, well…I’ll leave it there. Very disappointing.

One of the best brunch and health food spots in Laureles and Medellín. Great, coffee, breakfasts, juices and smoothies in a quite spot with friendly staff and good WiFi. Can’t ask for much more than that.

One of my favorite restaurants in Medellin. Attention to detail, always fresh produce and good quality. They made me start eating kale thanks to their delicious salads. Can recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh, rejuvenating meal!

😠 We ordered a mixed ceviche and it was very acidic, you couldn't eat it, the presentation was terrible in a plastic cup. We paid 28,900 each and it was just onion, a small fish bite and 3 shrimp.

👍👍 This is a traditional Colombian restaurant. I went around 12:40 pm, it was crowded but there were available seating. I ordered bandeja paisa. Portions were large and food was delicious. I also ordered cola zero and they brought 300 ml large bottle. Unfortunately 10% tip is included. I don’t like res...
