Great park on the edge of Envigado and easy to get to from Medellín. Plants and rivers all over the place. Recommended for anyone who wants a quick break from the city for a day. Good spot for a picnic and other activities like that. Metro and bus to arrive, I wouldn’t recommend walking up there.

Had to leave our alcohol at the gate but aside from that, this is the nicer of the two Salado parks, ziplining, epic views and wildlife. we saw iguanas and toucans for example. Excellent bus connections from town and the tiny hamlet next door gives a good insight into proper Colombian culture.

The parking lot guy charged 12mil pesos forn4 mins of walking t the entrance and back bc the park was closed. Not fair! It's not about the money rather principle and they always say due to cameras.
