We stayed one night at their hotel and with that occasion we have booked another 2 nights for the next week. We have been anounced with just two days before reservation that they will not have any room for us, invoking some errors in their system. This happened only when we contacted them with another aspect, so probably we would have been announced by the annulment when we would have arrived at hotel. Of course, given the short time for booking another room, the reservation made at other hotel (Black Sheep, which I recommend) was more expensive.

Excellent choice for travelers who don't like to stay in fancy places. Also there are leisure activities such as language exchange on Thursday and karaoke on Fridays. Also it's located near the stadium metro station, so anyone can go and do some exercise very easily, the same can be said regarding food since there are plenty of shops right around the corner.

Plus side: Good location. Easy walk from Estadio Metro. Exito supermercado on the corner. Good prices in the bar (though it wasn't open. Just going by posted menu). Surrounding neighborhoods are nice. Hostel itself is on a quiet street (but located in an old hotel zone, which decidedly isn't). Public pools at the Estadio complex. Kitchen with knives that actually cut stuff. Overall: good value Negatives: Close quarters. Pictures don't reflect how small the spaces are. Roof and balcony smoking areas brutally hot during the day. Like most Colombian hostels, no international backpacker vibe. Poorly-ventilated dorms. Kinda important during COVID. Aircon in some dorms, but that's hardly a substitute. Vents over the doors would help. Takeaway: Overrated on booking sites. It's not bad, but it's not great.

Cheap but extremely basic and loud. Pros + super well located + cheap + kitchen Cons - super loud until late. Even during quiet hours (after 12am/12.30am) there were drunk people shouting and staff didn't seem to care - tiny dorms, no space for backpacks - dirty especially bathrooms (and toilets!) and floor of dorm - cold shower - my dorm was smelly and didn't have a window, just a permanent opening onto the hallway/yard which is where people smoke and talk at every hour of the night/morning, so I could hear their conversations and smell the cigarette smoke like they were in my bed In a nutshell, go there if you want to party, get drunk and crash in your bed. If you want to relax and chill, don't bother.

They offer menus (at least during lunch time) which come with a drink, a starter, and a main dish. It is all vegetarian. You even can combine different options. In our case they had two different soups as starter as well as two different main dishes. The food is typical Colombian food. They didn't use a lot if spices but on every table they have salt, pepper etc.

Great place. However, my phone was misplaced by the front desk. I reached out to the manager and several front desk representatives. They gave me the run around and did not allow me to see the cameras. They gave me an excuse the next day and the next day until it was past a week. I find it uncomfortable that I came in and left my bag to use the restroom and come back and my phone is missing and no one wants to show me the camera. I had a Sony which was 3 months old. Welcome to Colombia my friends.

It is located in a great area restaurants and metro close by in a "non-touristy" part of town. They do not have air conditioning in all the rooms. Fortunately the weather in Medellin is such that it's not needed, however the opened windows communicate directly with a common area and not far from the bar. The place was off for me and feel I could have chosen better. With that being said they do have a great kitchen area and most of the staff and owner is friendly and helpful. The bed framing is solid and the mattress comfortable. The showers have great pressure and hot hot water. They also promote activities at the bar for locals such as Karaoke on Saturday nights and a language exchange on Wednesday night's. Many have loved their stay here and it made the lonely planet guide. - Happy Travels

The receptionist says that I can store my bags for free as I'm staying next week. Then she changes her mind when I come to collect my bags at 05.00am and tries to charge me 10k. Hmm... maybe she had a bad night or is new....either way this hostel has great vibes and doesn't need a receptionist that's stuck up. I am now debating whether to cancel my booking.

I stayed here in the beginning of the year. I had a private room which was suitable even though it did not have an outside window. I heard the dormitory rooms are quite small. The hostel is definitely social and a bit loud. There is ample outdoor space with hammocks and a rooftop. It's located in an okay part of Laureles.

When I booked this hostel I didn’t realize it would be so loud until late in the evening. I’m travelling for a long time so call me boring but I just like to be in bed by 10 pm most nights :) When I arrived and read the house rules I was surprised to read that the quiet hours are 12-6 and 1-6 on weekends. I checked the info on Booking and it wasn’t listed there, if it was I wouldn’t have booked this hostel. I decided to stay for one night but it was really way too noisy for me until late at night. The girl at the reception was really nice and accommodating though when I explained the next morning I wouldn’t be staying for two more nights, she cancelled the rest of my stay and I only paid for one night. Another downside though I noticed was that even until 11 am all three of the couches were occupied by people sleeping on them. The four bed dorm I stayed in was fine, no bunk beds, not too cramped and comfortable bed.

Very social, fun hostel. But the dorms are small and I mean wow. There's no way to cramp more beds in a room. No place for backpacks or other belongings. To go if you are looking for peace and quiet. If you intend to party - perfect place.

Good basic hostel for sleeping only. The neighborhood is nice with proximity of good street with a lot of restaurant and bar. I didn't find this hostel as much entertainment.

I would not recommend unless you are only trying to party and meet foreigners. The rooms are awful and it’s impossible to relax. It is extremely loud and the rooms are unbearably hot. You can get a private room down the street for less.

I had my Bluetooth headphones and a pack of gum stolen from my coat pocket when I went to the bathroom for karaoke on Saturday night.

You have to know that the place is quite dark and you hear every noise in the house. Definitely could do more cleaning as some corners were quite dirty - one of the single rooms had a huge layer of MOULD on the ceiling, in the bathroom as well. Best mattresses of the city as they say is far from reality. Some of the staff are really nice, others don’t seem to really care and are more concerned playing video games. Location is good, 2 minutes from Carrera 70 and 7 from Estadio Metro Station. The corner with the hammocks is nice, bit all in all too expensive for the quality you get. Wouldn’t recommend.

+ friendly, helpful staff + very nice location + safe place - loud at night until midnight (at least on thursday) - dirty beds, rooms, toilettes and showers Recommendation: they should clean more. I did not see anyone clean the entire day As for me sleeping in a clean environment is important, I did not enjoy my stay and will noy come back

I always feel welcome at this hostel! I've never been here as a guest since I live in this city, but I try to attend their karaoke nights and barbecues and they're always a blast. Language exchange is happening all the time and it looks like a healthy environment. The owner and employees are all super nice too.

I loved this hostel! The shared spaces are great and the kitchen is big enough for multiple people. There are a lot of fun activities there that aren't just partying. I would definitely return.

This place is spectacular. The ambient is very good. Ideal to enjoy with friends and exchange knowledge with visitors who arrive there. You practice English and teach Spanish. Simply wonderful. I loved the variety of drinks and flavors. Muy recomendado.
