Location is the best. Room was spacious too. Breakfast was not satisfactory, I didn't enjoy at all. I would only prefer this hotel if i don't find better option nearby. My room encountered water spillage from ceiling which could be due to rain or other pipeline leakage.

Horrible reception! We booked via booking.com 2 rooms for 4 people. When we arrived we were told that we booked only for 2 people not for 4. And we were asked to pay additional 35% per room. We verified that price per room on their website is the same regardless if there are 1 or 2 people (print screen attached). But receptionist was forcing us to pay more for the booking that was not cancellable. Finally after long negotiations we persuaded the person to give us the room at the original price, but obviously the situation was ugly 😕 we lost time and energy

The doors were off the closet when we arrived. The shower has screws sticking up from the frame, the shower drains very slowly…. The room service person demanded that I pay for my room service 10 minutes after he delivered it. I calmly explained that at this and every other hotel it’s customary to pay for room charges at checkout. The staff in the restaurant were very nice. I was never provided a parking card so I had to wait for an attendant to open the gate every time I came and left which was inconvenient.

The hotel is located in the center of Medellín and there are a couple of really big shopping malls and good restaurants within 10 minute walking distance. On the third floor, there was no reception counter at the restaurant to check customers' room number. You can go inside and take a seat wherever you want. But today morning the tallest woman staff asked us about our room number while she didn't ask the other customers at all who seemed to come from this country or America. I know very few Asian tourists come to this country to do some sightseeing. And I know too they are from richer countries including mine than this country. None of them will try to have free breakfast in a hotel where they don't stay. So if your staff control that kind of thing, she should keep in mind that she check everyone not trying to pick out some customers according to her personal criteria. That kind of trivial behaviour may make your customers a little bit upset. Apart from this happening our stay at this hotel was pretty good.

Good hotel, great location. If you can get the buffet breakfast included it is a good option as there is plenty of food and every day they include something traditional. If not, as it is well located there is no problem getting food around it, for instance Starbucks is just a couple of blocks away. It has at least two malls at walking distance as several restaurants. The service was very good as you would expect in a hotel of this category. Been there several times and I would return.

The hotel is in an excellent place in the middle of everything and next to the big and beautiful shopping center in medellin. Very nice. Beautiful staff can ask for anything else. Excellent service and the location is just amazing.

USD 180 the night and the worst quality bath towel and bed sheets you will find better in a USD 25 hotel in Colombian towns

Overall a pretty good hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The facility is fairly modern and is well furnished. Then breakfast buffet is excellent. The gym is sad and needs lots of attention. It’s small and half of the machines don’t work.

This hotel is located in a central business area with many higher end shopping, and dining opportunities. There are also two casinos within a few hundred meters. Easy to get to Poblado, Parque Lleras, or other parts of the city as it’s centrally located. Breakfast is decent. Enough variety to find something you like. Fitness center leaves a lot to be desired somehow I got it done. I found the staff to be friendly, but not quite welcoming. Not a lot of eye contact or welcomes when you leave or return to the hotel. The internet in the rooms is painfully slow at 8MBps. Streaming is difficult. Overall, I recommend staying here. Especially if you’re a tourist who doesn’t want to be inside all the craziness of Parque Llaeras. But want it close enough to take a 12 minute walk or 5 minute car ride.

Very nice hotel situated in one of Medellin’s prominent area of El Poblado. Staff is friendly and kind. You can find almost anything you need in the surroundings. Rooms are spacious with excellent views over the city. For a 5 star hotel the could have the bathroom and room better maintained. Breakfast is open, fresh and varied.

This is a 3.5 star hotel, at BEST. Pros: good location, safe area, overall clean hotel Neutral: breakfast is just ok, same food every day, no way to toast or warm up any toast, waffles, pastries, etc. Cons: Our problems started when we checked in at 1am. We traveled with our 3yo and the front desk insisted on a birth certificate even though both parents were present. All our last and middle names are the same. Finally I told him I’d get someone to get a picture in the morning Our room was a bit dated, but the main issues were the sink backed up water and the shower pressure was awful with lukewarm water. I informed the front desk the next morning and they said they would look into it. That afternoon, both were still the same so I went and talked to them and they offered a room change. I asked to check the next room before packing up and moving and they insisted it would be fine. Well I’m glad I persisted because after going to the second room to check, the shower was ice cold after running for 2 minutes. The bellboy was with me and I had him check himself and he agreed. Finally we went out for the rest of the day just planning to change hotels and when we returned they offered us one more room to check. The shower was nice and hot (finally) so we made the swap. After our first night we realized the AC was broken. It ran constantly regardless of the thermostat temperature and blew cold air directly on the bed all night. So we ended up just staying without the AC rather than moving again. Overall the hotel needs a major update. The lobby and superficial appearance is much nicer than the hotel itself and I would have rather stayed at a holiday in with functioning showers and AC. The staff are also undertrained, they are polite but lack any sort of polish or grace when dealing with problems. The morning of our checkout we had a 3:30am airport pickup and the front desk called at 2am to confirm…?! Obviously woke us up an hour early and never apologized on check out and didn’t thank us for our stay. Overall it’s an ok hotel if you get a room with a shower, sink, and AC that works but there are probably much better options in the price range

I had a terrible stay at the estelar, the room walls were so thin I could hear my neighbours breathing, the door lock broke almost daily and I had to wait for the hotel staff to come and fix it, the breakfast was mediocre and the food options in their restaurant left a lot to be desired, the sushi place in the lobby was ok. The only reason I was in this hotel is that all the others were booked because of a concert happening that weekend, I can see why it was the only one available.

It is an expensive hotel, but you may expect more than what you get.

Excellent location in Poblado, close to the Provincia area for bars and restaurants and the SantaFe Mall. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety! The bed was very huge and comfortable, and the view was just amazing days and nights from the room's window. They could however clean the jacuzzi a bit more often.

The staff was nice and polite to me and my friend. I was greeted and asked how I was doing by staff, security and maid, Which was appreciated. My friend and I had no problem at all except our hotel key card stop working many times on the elevator and we had to go to the desk to fix it.

Great service and a lot of nice amenities. The breakfast buffet had a lot of great options too. I hope to stay again with them, and this property is much nicer than the last Estelar properties I have stayed at. I also upgraded the room to a Junior suite and it was worth the extra (at the time it was only $14-$15 dollars).

Good hotel in upscale area with restaurants and malls within walking distance. Rooms are large but old and shower pressure is weak. Staff should be more accommodating.

Great location in the midst of the bustling city. Lots of options to eat nearby. Amazing view from top floors. Clean hotel, spacious rooms and great breakfast. Communication in English is a bit difficult sometimes with room service.
