I have an ongoing issue with Express Care of Belleview. I was charged $120 for a scheduled office visit, that should have been covered by insurance. My insurance company (a major national insurance company) verified this. Express Care says that it is because they could not communicate with my insurance company to verify my coverage, and that I had to pay up front and get reimbursed. I still have not heard anything from them, and still have not been reimbursed. Unfortunately $120 is a lot of money to me, and I feel greatly mislead. The more frustrating aspect is not receiving any help! When I arrived at 8:45am for my 9am labs, I wasn't aware that my appointment time was almost irrelevant. I had been fasting, for labs, and was already struggling with low blood sugar. I made that appointment that morning because I am having hypoglycemic (low blood sugar) issues/episodes. 2.5 hours until I was taken to an exam room. At 11:30am I was seen by a phlebotomist, who proceeded to miss my veins 3x. I gave her 3 opportunities until I asked for someone else, who nailed it first try. I am a 35 year old personal trainer with under 10% body fat. I have massive veins. They eventually got their samples. While I was waiting to see a Dr, this WAS my PCP, a NP came in and said that he was the one that I would be seeing for my appointment. I was under the impression that I was seeing a Doctor, and that's what I was paying for. Had I been given all of the information at the beginning, I would have requested a different appointment, when I could have actually seen a doctor, and had a doctor see me! The most frustrating part wasn't the terrible quality of medical care, wasn't the bruises left on my arms after 3 missed jabs, wasn't being mislead about seeing a Doctor, and it wasn't even when I was told that they couldn't verify my insurance.... The most frustrating part is the indifference of the staff. We are not at your office because everything is amazing, we are at your office because we need help. We are having medical issues that are taking a toll on life. Life is difficult enough as it is. I guess the problem could be my expectations, though. I expected employees there to want to be helpful, to be caring and compassionate, and to want to be there helping people. If you keep your expectations extremely low, you will probably have a good experience here!! But, I would recommebd avoiding this office altogether.

I would give below one if I could. My wife had called last week for a prescription to be called in before she ran out in three days. Called again the next day. Called again the next day. Was told she would be given a call back, nothing. After the weekend we call again, put on a ten minute hold and then hung up on. Called back, this time we were told to come in for an appointment. My wife has been in here now for 1.5 hours still hasn’t seen doctor. She has a plane to catch. This is an absolutely embarrassing business. “ExpressCare,” yeah right. Do not give business to this place it is shameful the way they have behaved when dealing with my wife and extremely unprofessional.

Avoid this place at all costs. The doctor is condescending and extremely rude. A family member who suffers from migraines came to the Doctor asking for medicine to help with his migraines. He had covid at the time which causes for his migraines to worsen. The doctor did not listen to the need for prescription for the migraines and proceed to say “let me educate you, covid does not have a cure.” After multiple fail attempts to get him to listen to the need for migraine medicine and not covid me, he proceeded to slap the patients knee and say “toughen up guy.” A clear insult to the medical field and the medical professionals.

I do not recommend this office unless you are okay with a wait time. The staff is beyond wonderful, especially doctor Mike’s people, but the other main doctor Steven is just unprofessional, and the desk staff are unorganized. If Make an appointment for 1 and you’ll be lucky if you see a doctor by 4:30. I come here every few months and I love my main doctor and his nurses, but it is almost impossible to see him at the scheduled appointment time. This place is very crowded most of the time because they take walk ins every day, you will always be left waiting for hours at a time before you see your doctor.

I don’t do reviews this is only the second time. My issue was with the pharmacy. Long story short my meds I get are for 90 days , I have been for years. The heavy set brunette at the counter said that my insurance would not do 90 days when I told her I’ve been getting them from cvs for years at 90 days one of the girls in the back said something and then the heavy set brunette said (I said that it’s like talking to a wall.) You should also know during that conversation she expressed to me that none of the doctors there new what they were talking about and we’re always wrong !!! Needless to say I will be going back to CVS , she seemed to be a lead or a manager in the pharmacy very unprofessional and if I was the owner of that pharmacy she would be unemployed

I am a patient for at least a year here. I am having a flare up from my chronic health condition. I was seen by Miss Rogers, a PA. I was told later on, instead of Dr. Ice. I am a healthcare worker (Surgical Technologist) my self. She gave me the rudest treatment I ever seen to a patient. Walked in and out of the room without asking me a question, made her decision based on my previous history and the medical assistant notes. "Spitted" my diagnosis on my face like a bad word. She put me back on medication listed in my chart without asking why It was discontinued and refused to let me know if she was going to sign FMLA papers in case I needed.extra time.out of work to get better. (which is always the case for my condition, which is not the flu). Actually she gave enough.time off to get fired for not going to work, but exactly less time than what will get my job protected by law. Oh, she also gave me migraine med samples with no questions asked when migraines were ruled out long ago for me. I left worst than I walked in, angry, helpless and heading to work ill to beg my boss to keep me home until I can find a real MD. Shame to healthcare that people like her practice medicine. They are there just for the money.

The 2 people who answer the phone are super rude. They will not transfer me to the Leesburg office. I can’t get a hold of anybody about my prescriptions and they lost my file. They are very disorganized. I have to drive to leesburg every time and I still get no results. Mike is amazing as a doctor but the whole operation is a disaster. The 2 people who answer the phones just hang up on you and are super rude. Messages don’t get delivered and and nothing gets resolved. This has been going on for 6 months now. Really dissatisfied and disappointed.

There is usually a wait because they stay quite busy. My doctor will spend as much time as I need to make sure I understand what I need to know. His nurse is also very attentive and helpful. They always smile and make sure I'm comfortable. Highly recommend!

😐 Recently I rated them a one star, because they are awful at filling prescriptions and sending them to the correct place. This, is still true. But Dr. De Jesus is an excellent doctor and has helped my father out in so many ways when he got pneumonia. My father isn't able to work any longer, but Dr. D...
