In my opinion, this is the most beautiful beach in Florida ! We did the East side and the west side of florida and this section has the most beautiful sand ! Yes, it’s a national park so, you have to pay for the entrance . I suggest you to buy the annual pass for every national park !….. it’s only 80$ a year and you can visit every parks in the USA for free ! This beach is not crowdy as Pensacola beach ….. it’s a lot better if you are with young kids . You can also see the blue angels sometime or other military aircraft or helicopter ! I also suggest you to arrive in the morning because the parking spots are very limited . The water is also always more calm in the morning so, if you want to do some snorkeling and see beautiful fishes , rays and dolphins , the best time is in the morning ! This beach is also not too far from the Pensacola pier and the shopping place . There is also good restaurant not too far ….. so, you have everything around you to spend a very nice day with family and friends ! The sunset is also amazing and your wife will like to take a lot of nice pictures ! At around 4:00-5:00 pm there is a lot chances you will see dolphins !….. they are always not too far ! Hope you will enjoy good time with your family .

Beautiful day. The beach looked pristine until we combed the beach up from the shore where the last high tide had come in. Though it wasn't noticeable, a 1/4 mile walk gleaned a lot of plastic pieces. Seems as if straw usage and disposal has improved greatly, only found 4! Unfortunately, we (2 of us) picked up 205 plastic drink caps. Glad to give back on "Giving Tuesday". Facilities were clean, and we ended with a nice picnic. Cannot wait to go again but next time I'll be sure to remember a bag for collecting discarded plastic.

Gorgeous beach, you do need to pay $25 to get into the park where the beach is located but we went on a Saturday and almost nobody was there. Not a lot for seashells besides tiny ones and broken ones. The ocean was still beautiful as always. The only issue was the littering by the people before. Leaving apple cores and orange peels is still littering.

Beautiful, clean, clear water, and plenty of room to space out and have your own private area on the beach.

Sugar sand beaches along this coast line. Near Fort Pickens is usually not to crowded in last winter early spring. Restrooms and picnic areas available and of course foot showers 🚿 👌

Favorite place to go when in the area. Lots of shells. Saw a huge shark last year. It's a lovely place to go, not too many people. Dog friendly. Simply beautiful.

Great beach access with showers and bathrooms. Not too crowded and very close to the fort. We even caught some glimpses of the blue angels flying in formation.

One of the best beaches to go to if your near Pensacola. Wasn't crowded at all, me and my girlfriend where able to find a spot right away and had plenty of space between us and our neighbors. The beach is located inside the state park so there is a fee to get in but it's good for 7 days. Be sure to check out Fort Pickins while your there!

Absolutely beautiful beach with hardly anyone else in sight. While it was cloudy and cool the day we visited, the water was still clear and calm. I can't wait to go back soon!

Such a phenomenal beach! Great place to see jets fly over. Parking was fine but it gets crowded fast. It was a short walk from the parking lot to the beach.

Langdon beach is my favorite in the park. It has restroom facilities and tables under roof for eating and getting out of the sun for a while.

Best beach I've been to in the USA. Not over crowded and clean with green blue water and powder like sand. There are showers whole body and feet. Not sure why they where removed or if people were at the wrong beach but Langdon has showers.

Quiet, secluded spot. Family favorite! Get good fishing in if you do as they did - wade and cast, then pull back the reel. Saw manta rays this time - harmless :) Sands white and soft. Must come and see!

Beautiful clean beach, pristine white sand, not near as crowded as Pensacolas public beach, worth the $25 we paid for a week.

Beautiful beach! Giant sand bar, clean bathrooms, big covered ramadas with picnic tables. We went with little kids (ages 2-6) and they thought it was the best beach they had ever been to. It had enough calm water for the little guy, and some small waves for the older two to jump in. Parking lot isn't very far from the beach either, so it isn't a far hike with your stuff. Showers to rinse off as well.

Absolutely beautiful beach and nice parking. Has pavilion with bathrooms, picnic tables, and wheelchair access. Shower and foot wash for sand. Lifeguard tower.

Had a fantastic time at the beach, winds were causing quite a stir, but the water was great and the sand is crazy soft. Found several sea shells, sand dollars and my wife even found several jellyfish that washed ashore.

I always enjoy this beach. It has a pavilion with disabled ramps, restrooms, outdoor showers, closeby parking. They maintain it well. If there's too much wind or riptides, the bay is right across the street.

👍👍 This is one of the best kept secrets in all of Florida. This is the last "stop" along the way west towards views that are unhindered by commercial excess. Once you reach this point, it's just flat, clean Earth. And on one side you get a view of the bay to the north and an amazing view of the Gulf t...

😐 While we loved taking our dog to the beach and the actual beach is beautiful and so is the area for dogs...the tiny little area that is open for dogs is lacking. There are miles of beach here and it's not crowded so why they couldn't have a bigger area for dogs is a question that many people have. W...

👍 Nice beach. There is a port-a-potty in the parking lot for the humans. Clean beach, I saw no dog waste anywhere. I came between 8-9 AM on a Monday morning with my dog, only a handful of people there, I saw four dogs total, three that were swimming with their owners. There is no fresh water access or...
