From the moment I had a consultation with Catherine, I was on board with booking her team's services for my small elopement. During our initial call, Catherine took the time to talk through the best extensions for my hair type and gave some fantastic recommendations on what to do for skin care as the months and weeks moved closer to my wedding. When it was time for my trial, Ajla asked a ton of questions and checked in during each step of my makeup application to make sure I was comfortable with the look as well as provided tips on my extensions to get the best benefits for my upcoming wedding day. I messaged Catherine a few days prior to my wedding as I decided to shift from a softer glam eye to full glam and Ajla got my vision and delivered 100% on my request. Ajla is extremely talented and went above and beyond as she even helped me get into my wedding dress. We had unexpected rain showers in the middle of our beach ceremony, as well as during our post ceremony photos and my hair and makeup was still perfect all the way through the evening for our reception. I would highly recommend Catherine and Ajla; they are personable, creative and deliver top notch beauty services. I worked with Cat for hair and makeup for my elopement. I don't usually wear too much makeup, but I wanted to get glammed up for our elopement photos. I'm East Asian so I was also looking for someone who had a portfolio that included a wide variety of skin & hair types, which she had. Cat was communicative, easy to work with, easy to get along with. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted and she did her magic! She even stayed for our elopement ceremony and took some nice videos for us!

Catherine was absolutely amazing to work with! Starting with our initial phone call, she was accommodating and really listened to me with what I wanted to do with my hair. She was also very accommodating with me when we had to push our wedding due to COVID. Catherine was also very patient as I had changed what I wanted to do for my bridal hair many times even day of the wedding! The hair trial was super professional and she has such a cute studio that she works out of. She understood that I was anxious about my hair and did everything to make me feel comfortable and confident that we would pull off exactly what I was looking for. I was absolutely in love with the final look. I felt like a true goddess on my wedding day largely due to her skill and care she took with my hair. My wedding party had 10 people (including myself & my mom) who needed to get their makeup done, and Windy City Glam got everyone ready and looking beautiful very efficiently. My wedding party was diverse, and Cath & her team did a great job making sure everyone's makeup suited their skin tones & desired looks. They were also really friendly & easy to talk to, and did a great job keeping the energy up during a long morning of getting ready. I booked Cat for my wedding September 2023 for hair and makeup for myself and three bridesmaids. She did a phenomenal job all the way from my trial to getting us all ready on the day of.
