😠 We took our 14 year old son there in November of 2014. Payment of $160.00 was taken before he was allowed to see a doctor, which is expected. We were told that the $160.00 was an initial down payment and would be adjusted after service. After he saw the doctor we asked if there was a balance to set... We took our 14 year old son there in November of 2014. Payment of $160.00 was taken before he was allowed to see a doctor, which is expected. We were told that the $160.00 was an initial down payment and would be adjusted after service. After he saw the doctor we asked if there was a balance to settle, to which the staff (nurse and front desk person) both said: "No, you are all set". Imagine our surprise when 3 weeks later a bill arrives asking for an additional $161.00. When we called the billing phone number a very rude, although disinterested might be a better word, lady answered and told us that we had to pay additionally and that we were clearly advised that the initial payment was only an estimate. She then said that see did see the $160.00 and a new bill would be issued... A new bill WAS ISSUED, this time for $107.55 for lab work..... No matter that we asked if we had to pay for anything else and were told no.... I don't want to bore you with details, but suffice it to say that this is still not settled. We ended up paying the lab fee and received another doctor bill for $161.00.... If you want good service, do not go to this facility. There is a perfectly good facility not 1/4 mile from there (strip mall where Blockbuster used to be) that I visited last month and I paid $65.00 and have not had any billing issues with them. Don't walk, RUN away from this (Loyola) place....

My experience with this location keeps getting worse and worse. 1) I found the nursing assistant down right rude. She even instructed me that it was inappropriate to come in, as I should've gone to my primary care (as if I chose urgent care on a Monday morning for fun). I found her very rude, and completely incapable of connecting to a person on a human level 2) Then we talk about the wait. I was the third person in the building, and waited over 2 hours for a doctor to show up. Per the lovely nurse mentioned in #1, there was only one doctor on staff and that I would have to wait well over an hour. She only checked on me once. They need to staff their location better especially considering that when I left, it was standing room only (as if anyone wants to do that when they're sick). 3) The billing process is horrible. They insist that you owe them a co-pay even when you prove that you have paid your out of pocket max already and this shouldn't count. They get their money first and then force you to go through an awful refund process that takes longer than a month to get reimbursed. If only they knew how medical benefits worked and were able to properly bill. Moving forward, I would suggest that you pass this location going as fast as possible. They are not staffed to care about your health or your money.

Today is February 10, 2022. I yesterday brought my daughter in because she had pink eye The nurses and doctors that attended her was great treated us with kindness and respect. The African American that was at the front desk yesterday was very rude with no patience since we got there. Nurse said I have to download the app mylayola this is the way I'm going to find out if my daughter is a negative for covid or not and find out if she had strep throat I said OK. Of course I tried signing in today and had issues with it. I would sign in press a tab and it was a error so I figured I come to the clinic where I took her last night. I spoke with the same African American receptionist and explained I cannot get into the app and I needed to know the results. 1st she was very upset because she said I need to go through the app. She asked me for my daughter's information I gave it to her. She had a very snotty attitude very disrespectful. She tells me I went into the the app in her computer that I saw the results.. I told her if I saw the results I wouldn't be here asking you for the results. She was very frustrated that she had to get up from her chair and get printed papers. The receptionist told me I'm supposed to call in before I go and before I go to let them know I'm picking up paperwork. I said I didn't know I had to do that no one told me. I asked her for the 1 800 number so I can fix the problem for the app. She did not want to give me the phone number or any information. Her coworker said check her email to see if its correct she refused to check. Hoping next time I go there is better customer service. Working at the front desk she needs to have customer service skills, she does not. Everyone else there is respectful, they have patience, they were kind and explained everything without getting upset. I didn't appreciate her attitude. Everyone else thank you for your great service.

The wait is terrible. Got here at 6PM, it is now 740 PM and I'm still waiting. I will make sure to never come here again. The Burr Ridge location is so much better. Their wait times are never this long. Finally got called in at 8PM. The staff was apologetic and nice. Dr. Serrano was helpful and very professional. However, this doesn't make up for the wait.

I have visited the immediate care center before, but today my visit was horrible. The doctor i saw today was terrible. I had to explain to her 3 separate times what my symptoms where. Once over the phone, second in person. Third trying to understand what her care plan was for me. I told her my chest felt heavy. She verbatim said " Well your not going to have a heart attack " i was done! This doctor needs to be addressed on how to approach and understand patient needs. Very disappointed and dissatisfied !

I was a bit skeptical coming here. I wasn’t sure if they would take my insurance but they did. I paid my copay up front before being seen and have yet to receive a bill for the visit so I can’t speak for billing just yet. But overall my experience was fine. Receptionists aren’t overly friendly but who would be when dealing with insurance and impatient, irritable, sick/injured people all day. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long (30 min) despite the amount of people waiting. There are several exam rooms and multiple doctors. Nurses and doctors and friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Dr. Keleher (sp?) was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place to others in need of immediate/urgent care!

Went here for a Covid test since I was having symptoms and had been exposed. The doctor told me to comeback two days later to get the test, not sure why since I had been sick for a few days already. I went somewhere else to get tested. I still went back to get my test here two days later since I hadn’t received my results from the other test yet. This place called a day later and told me they lost my test. I tested positive from my other test. What an unnecessary waste of time and effort all while being sick with Covid.

Today is August 8th… I arrived at office at 11:45, I spoke with the Hispanic Front Desk Person, she asked me for my insurance card and ID. She was very professional and friendly. She checked my coverage and told me to have a seat there were three patients ahead of me. I didn’t wait long before I knew it the Nurse was calling my name. We entered the room she took my vitals (no weight I was happy). She was also very nice and professional. I gave a sample of urine, they were going to run a test and the Dr would be in to see me. Dr. Powe who I had never met before walked in and made me feel at ease immediately. He apologized for the run around my Drs office had given me. He gave me the results of my test, explained the medication to me. He also told me if the test results showed I needed different medication I would be contacted by phone, there would be no run around. I was out of office by 1pm. My experience was very positive.. I didn’t want to go there because of the negative reviews but I’m glad I did. Thank you Dr Powe and staff.

I arrived atl 6pm and they wouldn't see me . They said they were closed to go ER near me. I feel misguided either by website or staff.

Waited 2 hrs to been seen I walked in as soon as they opened, there was only one person working the front desk. Called office at midday to have rx sent to another pharmacy they sent the wrong one. Tried calling office for about an hour no answer drive back to facility to have them send the correct rx. Drove off called pharmacy to see how long before it's filled and yet AGAIN sent wrong rx. Turned back around to tell him they said the wrong medication again no sitting in their parking lot to make sure they send the right one this is terrible customer service on their part lady I reception said she stopped answering phones because she was the only one there and didn't feel like answering calls

Although I reviewed numerous poor ratings - that was not our experience. We brought our 91 year old mother in there for X-rays required by her primary care physician. Staff was very speedy & careful with our mother . These receptionists that others are criticizing??? They were very kind to my elderly mother . I do think that part of it may be how one approaches others . She was pleasant & so were they . My experiences there have been poor with the physicians as they seem incapable of diagnosis. But the wait time was fine as were the front desk staff . If my primary care doctor is not available, I go to the ER.

Front desk was rude besides one lady, doctor was good and quick but the front desk was rude for no reason. Asked for a covid test, they told me no, asked why not and she cut me off asking for my phone number ignoring questions I asked.

It’s always something at this location. From staff having attitudes and being very bias towards a person who lifestyle they might not agree with so they give their personal opinion and not for the best of the patient to them turning away a patient at the door who is in need of a medical attention. I see why I don’t come here nomore

Service is quick but they will not do anything to help figure out what's wrong with you. They will charge you a huge bill for doing literally almost nothing. I left feeling like I didn't saw or talk to a doctor and got helped. No blood work or anything and no such thing as a doctors note. The doctor seem to be in a rush. Never ever again...
