I have been coming to Brookfield Zoo since I was child. Now I'm older and come when I want. I have a membership, which I recommend if you visit often. I like to go during the week right when it opens at 10a because it's less busy and I can really enjoy each animal. Parking is $15 for both the North and South entrance. If it's your first time visiting I suggest the North gate. If you aren't looking for a long walk from your car to the entrance I suggest the south entrance. Either way you will enjoy yourself once you're inside.

I used to come here all the time and it has been about 5 years since I was last here. Normally, this place is 5/5 for me. However, with all of the construction inside the zoo and about 50% of the animals present, it’s a 3/5. You’ll find many exhibits are closed and some of the animals missing from the smaller buildings. It doesn’t help that the two food trucks and most of the restaurants were either closed and only sold drinks/chips. I went on a Friday afternoon. Admission prices should be less if they have less to offer the public. Basically a ghost town once you get inside. I recommend not coming here this year.

What’s not to like about that park, perfect view there’s no way you are not killing yourself with pictures, you can sit and enjoy everything from people passing buy or people posing for selfies or someone’s else taking their pictures, or enjoying your plates. Clean up after yourself and everything will be perfect.

First time coming here! Was alright but as others have noted the price doesn’t match what you see! For $30 entrance fee I thought I’d see everything and enjoy the animals! But I soon realized that fee doesn’t cover much, you have to pay for extras like to view some ‘special’ animals you pay $4 here, $6 there, $6 for the carousel, $8 for the tram ride etc! These little costs rack up and you spending an arm and leg by the end of the day! Not cool! Again as others have said lots of construction going on! Dolphins not there cause building under construction, gorilla area being expanded, rhino area closed etc! Also the animals were sick, rhino, camels etc! It’s a fun place to bring a family but just quite pricey when added up! In Washington DC the world famous Smithsonian Zoo is free and you get to see waaaaaaay more animals and enjoy better experiences for $0!

A hidden gem right in the place. Lot to cover and see. Kids will love it as they can see many animals very close. Especially tropical and dessert areas were so close. Have been to San Diego, NC zoo which are bigger but this is very good as well. If you live around, annual pass is worth the price covering few events, discounts as well.

This zoo is huge. The habitats are beautiful and the animals are amazing. This is similar to a theme park. Lots of benches and play areas for families. Pricey snacks and food, but it is good food. Highly recommend spending time here.

I give this amazing zoo only 4 stars because of the cost of parking and the cost of all the add ons at the zoo. $24.95 is fair enough. If you want to do 3 additional things inside it would be an additional $12 per adult. The zoo itself is fantastic. I love how almost all the displays are at eye level and you don't sew a ton of fencing around the animals. Some of the indoor areas were closed. The zoo has not control over the pandemic. It's a big space once you get inside. The 2 areas that seemed crowded were the tropical reef area and the monkey area. Both indoors. If I lived here I'd definitely join as a member. Parking alone is free if you are a member. The food we had was also very good. Reasonably priced for a zoo.

I love this zoo! I've been coming here to visit since I was very young and I have always had a pleasant experience. Thankfully I came on a day where the weather was nice, but overcast and there was a chance for rain. Luck was on our side and it ended up being a lovely time! The animals were out and about (and being super cute!), zoo keepers were at the exhibits to answer patrons' questions, and everything was nicely kept & maintained. One thing I wish Brookfield Zoo would do is add more vegan options to their menus, with only thing available (for vegans) to eat were sweet potato chips.

My husband and I purchased passes for the zoo to take the family because the little ones love animals and the memberships paid for themselves in one visit. We went during the week so it wasn't as crowded, which made our zoo experience even better. The kids loved the dolphin show and can't wait to go again. I am terrified of birds but my husband took the kids in to see them and they say it's magical. Only disappointment was not seeing the gorilla's but they are still put up because of COVID so I understand. Overall it was a great experience and can't wait to go back.

Glad that there is a big zoo like Brookfield! If you know that you are going to be going more than once then it is definitely worth getting a membership. The membership includes free parking, discounted rides on the tram, carousel, etc. There is a lot to see and do, bring your own food and have a picnic! There are multiple playgrounds and they have different installations as well! Wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking to do be done. Great for all ages.

Free on weekends, Tuesday and Thursday till Feb end. Parking price is $17 but does not include tax so you’ll end up paying $20 after tax. Due to the weather most outdoor attractions are closed, so we were able to explore the zoo within 3 hours. Since it was free it doesn’t hurt to visit, but I don’t think it is worth it to pay and buy tickets. Some indoor attractions were closed and not many food options were available. Place is clean, they have play areas for kids but some places are under construction. Staff is friendly and answered our questions. Lincoln park zoo in Chicago is free all year round and all attractions are open all season.

Such a huge place to explore and very well maintained! A great place to enjoy with your kids. Kids absolutely love the monkeys, gorillas, tiger, giraffe, penguins. Their were wolves and polar bear as well. We walked for 3 hours straight and didn't finish looking into the whole area. People are maintaining social distancing as best as possible.

Be ready to walk a lot. All indoor exhibits are closed (more than half the zoo). Unimpressed due to a very small selection of animals to see. Many large dinosaur figures that move and make recorded sounds. Some of the animals were unique and exotic. Staff friendly and informative. Not a great place for children under the age of nine. If you're looking for a nice walk then this is the place to visit.

I would like to put 4.5 stars, now I will explain why: the zoo is very beautiful, large, there are many places for recreation, several playgrounds, fountains for children, several areas with a food court. The enclosures for animals are large, it is clear that they are very comfortable there, but here what is good for animals - not very good for visitors - as a result, the animals are not very clearly visible, they can be far away, it is difficult for children to see them. Outdoor enclosures are empty in hot weather (animals prefer to sit in a secluded area). Some exhibits are available for an additional fee. But in general it is a very good zoo, where you can safely go to rest with children of any age, there will be entertainment for everyone!

This is my favorite zoo in the Chicagoland area, because of the habitat-like exhibits. I've been to other zoos where the animals are in barren concrete stalls. Aside from a few of the areas where the animals go while their exhibits are being cleaned, these animals are in exhibits that are as close to the real thing as a zoo exhibit in Illinois could possibly get. If you enjoy reading and learning about the animals, there's plenty of interesting facts to learn along the way. There are areas/ exhibits geared towards kids, as well as a playground and a splash pad. I wish the food was a little better, but I'm glad you can bring your own food in, instead. The prices are fair, in my opinion. It's sometimes a little crowded, but never to the extent that it ruins the experience. Hours are a little short if you're coming from a distance. Overall, great zoo, definitely worth a trip.

Love love Brookfield zoo!! I highly recommend getting a membership, especially if you are close enough to go once a week and have preschool children. It pays for itself! We go once a week rain or shine all year round. It's the perfect place to get energy out, see all the animals, and be a part of such a wonderful organization. They do super amazing seasonal festivities, and all staff and zookeepers love to help and answer questions.

If you are a local or just visiting, Millennium Park needs to be on the top of your list. Not only will you enjoy walking down Michigan Ave. To reach it, but you will also enjoy all the cool pictures you will take in front of the giant chrome bean. There are many events that take place especially during the Summer... But what a beautiful sight it is when the bean is covered in snow during the Winter.. You see, coming to Chicago, you don't need to limit yourself to Summer visits.. Even the Winters here are fun and beautiful, with all the holiday lights, it will be a memorable experience. I totally recommend it.

Haven't been to the Brookfield Zoo in forever . Enjoyed my time well maintained , the dinosaur 🦖 exhibit was pretty cool .. The only drawback to me is price 25 admission and 15 for parking so 40 to get in total . And still had a bunch of indoor exhibits closed off to Covid . Which is ridiculous because I can sit in a jam packed baseball stadium with 40000 people these days with nobody wearing a mask 🎭 But overall It was a good time and I do recommend . If you have a family you can get the season pass for 150 which cuts down on costs if you go a couple times ..

We love going to the zoo. This is our second year getting the membership (we have the family plus level), which is totally worth it for us since we only live like 20 minutes away, so it's easy to go for just a couple hours whenever we want without feeling like we need to stay all day to make parking and admission worth it. They seem to be working on making a lot of improvements to the zoo right now, so I know some people sometimes feel like it's lacking, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that Brookfield Zoo is making improvements as the money becomes available. My kids probably love the carousel the most, and I really like that you can bring your own food here because not every zoo allows that. If you live decently close, two visits pretty much buys the membership.

A truly wonderful experience. Animals are kept close to all entrances and getting close is easily done. There are endangered animals in this park that are hard to view elsewhere. Much better than some others zoos I've visited. They even have a play area for children.

Brookfield Zoo is ginormous and has lots of animal exhibits and a petting zoo. There are miles of ground to cover and we simply couldn't do it in one visit. You can buy a yearly pass and there are activities going on year round at the zoo. There is a restaurant and gift shop onsite. This is a great zoo to visit and you won't be able to see everything!

We love the Brookfield Zoo. It's such a fun outing, and we learn something new every time we visit. Now, you can even feed a giraffe. We also love that you are welcome to being your own food. We pack a picnic lunch, and our membership covers parking and admission. It's an economical outing for our family all year.

The virus has really impacted the enjoyment of going to the zoo, not completely, but enough to miss the exhibits you would visit when your younger self looked forward to seeing the animals. The 40 dinosaur 🦕 animated exhibit is really great and many of the children out today genuinely looked excited about it. Please remember to order your tickets online, you also have to pick your arrival time. Please continue to support your local zoo and continue taking the time to enjoy the view around you.

Nice place to spend the afternoon. Could get food and have a small picnic (in the seating areas, please don't litter). There's enough space for social distancing too. Great atmosphere and skating rink. The Christmas tree here was also big and beautiful. Overall great experience.

Beautiful zoo with plenty of room no matter how crowded. Today was a nightmare getting to the parking areas. About an hour for the last mile or so. Its not always like that though. Great weather, a Saturday, a zoo fun run and an electronics recycling promotion all contributed. Also a special ice age exhibit with great examples of animals from that period.

Great visit. Animals were fairly sleepy on a hot day, but still had a great experience. Paying for the petting animals experience feels unnecessary. Almost very old schoolish - or like a county fair experience where everything has a fee. We still paid, but remember this when counting the trip's costs for your family.

Great time with my sons. Even though there are renovations being done, one of which is the dolphin house, there is plenty to enjoy with your family. You can tell I was there on a hot day since the lions and the bison are lounging around. Most animals were. Next time, I am going on a cooler day.

This is one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to. I’ve been a member since 2000 and it’s worth it every year. If you go at least two times you’ve made your money back. They’re always doing something fun and they have cool events to go to. The boo at the zoo event and the Christmas lights are the absolute best. This is my favorite zoo of all time and I’ll always have a membership here

It’s a perfect place for kids to enjoy animals in the wilderness . We had a wonderful summer afternoon. You can expect a long wait times during weekends for car parking. The zoo offers a diverse range of mammals, birds and reptiles. It also has an exhibit for sea animals. It’s a perfect place for kids. The zoo also has many food/drink carts to accompany your long walks.

The only entrance we use for the ease of impatient kiddos as it’s also the shortest distance to the kids zoo and 1st aid station is right by that door too! It’s also free to park with their family unlimited membership or it’s additional (even for regular members ) but it’s only $3 I believe. No tunnel to go through and long path way to wander down to get in the zoo.

Such a great zoo! It seems really well maintained and the animals seem well cared for. They have large habitats that are designed to mimic they're natural habitats as much as possible. The food and drinks sold are definitely pricey but it seems like you can bring your own in, so I'd definitely recommend doing so or planning ahead for the extra cost.

It was a perfect day to go to the zoo. Weather was amazing, not a lot of people there. Peaceful and just relaxing to walk. I went with a girlfriend we had a great time. Our 1st stop was the food trucks yummy. The vodka lemonade was weak. Fueled by food and drink it was time to tour. We are grateful for the many benches we used to stop and rest. We were only staying for 2 hours, we stayed until the park closed. The last 30 minutes was spent with a Summer Shandy and picture exchange. Brookfield zoo is perfect for a date.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped through the gates, I knew I was in for a memorable experience. This zoo truly deserves every one of its five stars! First and foremost, the animal exhibits at Brookfield Zoo are exceptional. They provide a comfortable and natural habitat for the animals, allowing them to thrive in environments that mimic their native homes. The exhibits are beautifully designed, incorporating lush vegetation and spacious enclosures that enable visitors to observe the animals up close while respecting their privacy. Whether it was watching the playful antics of the primates or marveling at the grace of the big cats, I was enthralled by the diversity of species and the dedication to their well-being. The educational aspect of the zoo is top-notch. Numerous informative signs, interactive displays, and knowledgeable staff members made my visit not only entertaining but also enlightening. I was able to learn about various conservation efforts and the importance of preserving endangered species. The zoo's commitment to education and awareness shines through in every corner, inspiring visitors to become better stewards of our planet. Brookfield Zoo goes above and beyond to cater to its guests' needs. The amenities are well-maintained and easily accessible, with ample seating areas, clean restrooms, and a variety of food options that cater to different tastes. The zoo staff members are incredibly friendly, helpful, and passionate about their work. Their dedication was evident in the way they interacted with visitors and the care they provided to the animals. The overall organization and cleanliness of the zoo left a lasting impression on me. One highlight of my visit was the wide range of activities available for visitors of all ages. From the ever-popular dolphin show to the fascinating behind-the-scenes tours, there was something for everyone. The children's zoo area was a particular hit, with its interactive exhibits and opportunities for kids to engage with animals directly. The zoo's commitment to creating an enjoyable and immersive experience for all ages sets it apart from other attractions. Lastly, I must mention the breathtaking beauty of the zoo's grounds. The landscape is meticulously maintained, showcasing stunning gardens and picturesque walkways. I found myself enjoying not only the animals but also the tranquil and serene atmosphere. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse oneself in the wonders of nature. In conclusion, Brookfield Zoo is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations. It offers a remarkable combination of stunning animal exhibits, educational opportunities, exceptional guest services, and breathtaking surroundings. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, an animal lover, or simply seeking a memorable day out, this zoo is a must-visit. My experience at Brookfield Zoo was nothing short of extraordinary, and I cannot wait to return for another incredible adventure!

Average zoo. Most animals are kept indoor. The reason might be winter in Chicago location. The smell inside the buildings where animals are kept are unbearable. Bird sections is missing. When we went some attention were closed or not started. If you are interested in butterfly’s, please check before you plan. Don’t take the motor Safari.. complete waste of money. Better you walk and see animals. Outside food and beverage are allowed inside zoo. So plan to take it. Every food and drinks if you purchase inside is very expensive. Good thing : you can find peacocks roaming around . Overall may be one time plan. Their focus is mainly on their marketing not on animal.

Very nice experience. There's a simple layout that makes it easy to flow around the park. Lots of different animals to experience including feeding giraffes and a paid personal experience with penguins which I recommend! The dolphin experience was closed due to renovations and I plan on returning when it's finished to see them.

The Zoo never disappoints and today was no exception. Only reason for the 4 star rating is due to many of the attractions not being open due to Covid. So more of a warning to goers to check what's open and what's not to make sure you bring what you need for the day i.e. strollers if you don't want to rent one as the zoomobile train thingy is closed. We got extremely lucky with the weather and very small crowds. The timed entry is working out so well and should continue to be used in the future regardless of Covid as it makes for such a much better experience! Five of us ranging in ages from 50 to 7 each found something to love.

Had a wonderful time at the zoo. Family went for the day and got to see most of the park. Part of it was sectioned off because of an event but still well worth the trip. The staggered entry times makes the lines very sort and everyone was trying their best to maintain physical distance. Staff were polite and friendly. Animals seemed well taken care of. Park was very clean.

I went during covid-19 (2020 Sep 13). Their public health measures were good. All indoor facilities has a staff outside to ensure people are wearing masks. And they always open the exhibit door for you as well. There are arrows guiding people to ensure distancing. Although it's a bit depressing to see animals locked in enclosures, I'm happy to support the zoo, as they play a part in conservation, and educating the youth.

Great experience at zoo lights for the first time in years! I only wish Brookfield Zoo would always do timed tickets to prevent the absolute debacles in previous years of sitting in local traffic for 3 HOURS in order to turn into the zoo parking lot! This time, I drove straight into the lot with just 1 car ahead of me in line. It was a Christmas miracle! 🌠🎄 I went on a Sunday around 3:45 and stayed until about 6pm, and it was definitely starting to get more crowded as the time passed. The trick for a more enjoyable, less crowded experience is to get in early (before 4:30) and leave before 6:30. The lights are indeed beautiful, but seemed more sparse in comparison to other light experiences. I LOVED the tunnel of light! It was very visually engaging and perfectly timed to the music. Only downside is there was no one regulating the crowd at the tunnel entrance and people were packing in too tightly. Another downside is there were far too little places to get food/drinks. During my visit I saw only 2 places serving food, but due to the limited ticketing, the wait wasn't too bad (bout 15-20 minutes). Hot tip: the mini food shack at the south entrance has Starbucks drinks (but not the full menu). Great hot cocoa (very hot at first, especially for kids) and they have some lattes and mochas too. Overall great time and over 90% of people complied with mask rules. One guy didn't and actually coughed while walking past us! 😡👎 Other than that, we had a great time!

Beautiful holiday lights, lots of decorated trees and animal displays. Huge zoo. Delicious pretzels and hot chocolate too! It's nice to go late afternoon so you have a better chance of seeing both the animals and the lights.

Such an iconic location and experience! The parking was easy to find and quick to get in and out. Their social distancing expectations are posted all over, and for the most part tourists have been good about following them. They have about a dozen ports potties available near the Bean, so that’s helpful if you’re concerned there aren’t restrooms. Beautiful site to see Chicago, even though the Bean had a fence around it to prevent touching it for the time being.

Awesome park to visit with the family. We we're there in the evening on a Monday night to see the Christmas tree and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. A lot of the place is currently gated with a few areas of entry and it's highly secured. I believe they are trying to keep the crowd down. They also have a lot of sections closed off including the Bean. It definitely felt safe as far as social distancing goes. I'm guessing because it was a weekday after 6pm.

Enjoyable visit while in Chicago. Going out on the main lawn during the spring, seeing a show in the middle of the park, and of course cloud gate. When you’re walking downtown Chicago and you’re surrounded by tall buildings, similar to Central Park you notice the sky much more when you get to the park. Convenient parking options in garages (make sure your vehicle is under 7’) and also street parking. Definitely a nice fresh air spot.

One of best zoo I have seen. It has got variety of animals with habitat made according to the need of animals. You will love the way they have made and kept the zoo. There is also a buggy ride which take you for a ride around the zoo. Here you can rent trolleys for carrying young-ones as the park is too large and both the adult and children get tired, so be prepared to have long walk. A must place for children’s to visit.

Spent a great day at Brookfield Zoo today. Zoo was clean, welcoming, colorful. The animal exhibits were nice. I lost my facemask while walking around and was not able to get a paper mask from several stations I checked with. Because of that, I wasn't able to get into any of the indoor attractions after I lost my mask. It would be a good idea to have each vendors booth or indoor attraction entry have a box of disposable mask available for customers that may need one as I did.

I have been going to Brookfield Zoo my whole life, now I bring my kids. They love it just as much as I always have. We have a family pass which is well worth the money. The last time we were there we were a bit underwhelmed by the dolphin show but it was their first one since the pandemic started.

What a beautiful zoo, I didn't expect something so big or gorgeous downtown Chicago. My family had a wonderful time, the animals and the plants made for fantastic scenery. Perfect way to spend a day with a toddler, they have a cool kids area that could keep the kiddos busy for quite some time. We explored most of the zoo but ran out of time to see the farm animals area unfortunately but it gives us a good reason to go again soon! I also love that you can walk into the conservatory greenhouse while you're walking, it was just stunning!

Had took my family to the Brookfield Zoo. They had a fun time seeing the animals outside in their habitat. I really liked that most of the animals we got to see that day were for the most part were out and about enjoying the weather. The family enjoyed the dinosaur themed all along the zoo park and even had its own habitat exhibit. The prices at the food court of course aren't going to be cheap so we decided go skip the meals there and went outside the zoo park and it was a lot more affordable. I believe you have to pay for parking coming to the parking lot entrance when you first come through. But overall coming to the zoo at this location was nice with the family and thankfully the weather was decent before it started raining right when we were leaving out.

I took 7 kids there for our first time in March 2017. The price was a little high for a zoo but there were alot of animals to view. I was impressed with the nice enclosures most of the animals lived in. The underwater viewing areas were the kids favorites. I especially loved watching the dolphins swimming. The cafeteria had a good choice of foods and so did the vending carts. This is definitely a half or full day activity and a must do if in Chicago with children.

The lights are pretty cool! There are hundreds of Christmas trees decorated by various businesses that were amazing. There's a lights display that is coordinated to music with a walk-through tunnel of lights. I just wish we had gone earlier to see more animals, we went after it was dark and a lot of them apparently go inside somewhere off limits for the night. We would probably go again, just timed better so that we see the animals when it's light out and finish the day and see the Christmas lights when it got dark.

This zoo is great, we went right when it started pouring rain and the staff was very nice to let us hide under the umbrella. Even after the rain the animals were very active. The polar bear had to be the best he was playing with his ball right next to the glass. They also had a dinosaur exhibit that was absolutely amazing. If you ever want to see animals at their most active go after it rains.

Great layout and fun was had by all! However, they didn't find my pretended torture of Bigfoot as amusing as I did and I was properly scolded by a man in a golf cart about how it was inappropriate for a family park... Touché Mr golf cart! 😁 We loved it and even bought a season pass to come back again!

I'm a little spoiled as I have been to the biggest zoos in the country. I give the zoo a 3 for a several reasons. 1. Only maps available were by QR code forget paper maps which I like to have. 2. The zoo seemed a little run down with faded paint on signs, fencing, etc 3. Tight, no room for strollers in any buildings, gotta leave stuff outside, with few cameras to protect your stuff. 4. Some of the animal exhibits were sad looking like nothing to entertain the animals like greenery etc, the basics of joy. 5. Some exhibits cost extra money, which isn't new to zoos but when some exhibits look so sad, not sure what I'd be paying for if I did (talking about kids play areas and the dolphins). I willngonagain, but having visited I know what I'm in for, lots of walking. My kids did love the carousel.

It was my first time ever going to the Zoo in the and Brookfield Zoo made a lasting impression on me. We visited on a Sunday and came in through the North entrance and traffic at the main gate was not bad at all. I recommend buying tickets in advance online, it’s quicker that way at the entrance. There is a lot of space for parking, my only advice is that try to remember where you parked your car coz the parking lot is massive and when I went we made that mistake but it was fun adventure trying to find our car. They have lots of animals to see and if you are patient enough to stand in line, you can feed one of the giraffes. The cafeteria there is self service the last time I went and I enjoyed my grilled cheese and fries. They have most of the common refreshments like cold drinks but I didn’t see any coffee. The bathrooms are relatively clean and there’s many bathrooms for easy access

This was a fun experience! A bit pricey considering all the "add ons" (dolphin show, carousel ride, wild animal encounter etc) that you may do to enjoy your day. The North parking lot could use some TLC. Otherwise, the zoo was in good condition for being an older one. We would consider coming back when we visit the area again.

Visiting on a Saturday, the crowds were as expected, but not overwhelming. We spent about 6 hours, which entailed a lot of walking. The exhibits and zoo are fairly spread out, so I would highly recommend comfortable shoes and wagons or strollers for younger children. Prices are high everywhere these days, but higher here than expected as the food and beverages were more pricey than at Wrigley Field. $5 for a small soft serve ice cream cone, and $12 for a hot dog basket. We do plan to visit again, but will be taking a picnic lunch and many more of our own beverages.

Loved every moment! Wear good shoes because this zoo is huge! I got to see almost all the animals. Some were sleeping but some was just the fact it was too hot out to keep walking. Bring your own drink because a large slushy is $8, Dipping Dots $8, and feeding a Giraffe is $15. A group of 5 cost me roughly $150

A wonderful and fulfilling experience. I love Brookfield, and being close to one of the best zoo locations in the US is phenomenal. A place with employees who genuinely seem to care and love the animals here. Enclosures are always clean, well kept and the animals are always seeming happy (assuming they aren't asleep). This was a nice zoo, really spread out. Due to the pandemic, all indoor exhibits are closed. I also noticed that some of the outdoor animals must of been inside or were moved, so there were a number of them that I missed. You must get a "timed entry" to go to the zoo, and I would recommend that you do it in advance. Normally the zoo is sold out if you try to go on a spur of the moment kind of thing. Masks are a must, but I did see some people who decided not to keep them on... I stayed way away from them. There are a few parts of the zoo that could use some updates for the animals sake, but all in all, a nice place to visit. PS:. At the moment they have 40 dinosaurs throughout the zoo. Most of them make noise and move, big hit with the kids.

Wow, what an amazing zoo. This zoo features a ton of great exabits and enclosures that are almost all very well-designed so you can clearly see the animals. Its also located in a HUGE area that allows for wide open spaces, and some wonderful park atmosphere. I was sad to miss out on all the inside stuff since it was closed for COVID, but could easily have spent a good 4-5 hours walking around if my feet had not killed me. That's probably the only downside of this zoo. Be prepared to walk! It will take you close to 15 min to walk from one side of the zoo to the other.

Good thing: everyone wearing mask! I wanted to buy a membership and there were no spots for members , was sold out ,so i purchased tickets. Expensive, but I used the value for a membership. I thought there was going to be more music everywhere. Is a good walk, bundle because is open space so even when was 50 degrees ,was cold. Don't expect much of food, there are long lines for pretzels and the attendees don't seem to get the fast pace environment. So they take their time, they do not use tongs to get the pretzels, some with the plastic globes that they use for the cashier screen, they take the pretzels. There was a place for burgers and drinks. They don't seem to be ready for the amount of people. As later it gets more and more people arrive. I guess because Lincoln park zoo is smaller seems to have more lights, may me hust a matter of perception

  • 2/5 Tyquan M. 3 years ago on Google
25$ entry plus 15$ parking and over 1/3 the zoo is unviable because all inside exhibits are closed. No reptile house, no dolphins, no underwater viewings, and the huge exhibit with the primates is CLOSED. Prices need to be adjusted to suit what is actually open to view because I feel ripped off at the current price point.

After weighing the option on whether to expose my family in public due to the pandemic I decided we needed to get out of the house and actually do something. Upon purchasing tickets we read that all indoor areas were closed due to the pandemic. As well as indoor exhibits. We decided to purchase tickets and go anyways. Upon pulling up to the parking... it was almost empty. This was actually a relief. The zoo itself still had plenty to offer my family. The animals were active and my daughter loved feeding the giraffes. They do offer food options with plenty of available outdoor seating. It was a great expefience.

The Zoo is open again. Easy ticket reservations online. Make sure you show up to the correct gate, otherwise they politely redirect you to the correct gate. Once inside wear a mask and things are pretty much business as usual except for everything inside is closed. Still a fun trip, saw all the Dinos on display and walked to all the animals in just about two hours. Remember to buy or donate some to keep the zoo operating.

The zoo lights were nice to see, the staff is nice, and it's a nice walk. The only downside is that there were way too many people for a time of pandemic. They try to limit the amount of people in the zoo park by selling tickets based on time and posting signs that there is a 30 minute limit but that doesn't really work at all. The lack of masks being worn is not really their fault but they should enforce it a bit more in my opinion. Overall a nice but also risky experience in a time of a pandemic.

February 2020 , my husband and I visited the Toronto Zoo. We had travelled over from New York State. It was the day before the news started showing Canadians wearing masks due to Covid 19. That visit was the happiest day of 2020. We visited the orangutans. There was a cluster of small children at the glass watching a female orangutan squeegee the glass. I crouched beside the children. The orangutan, named Puppe, paused and gazed at each child. Then she regarded me and made eye contact. Never have I experienced such powerful gentle one on one openness. The moment was brief yet, it stretched out for so long because I never had such an experience before. I don't want to anthropomorphise but, I lack a better way of saying that I felt compassion witnessing her dignity, her "humanity". She's not an animal separate from people... she is we. Equal. Her kind are defenseless from humanity's destructiveness. Yes, it is profoundly sad that orangutans are in zoos. But, the Toronto Zoo makes visitors care... deeply care about humanity's impact on wildlife. Information was prominently available about the effects of palm oil harvesting on orangutans' habitat. That's what makes the Toronto Zoo exceptional. They put intense effort in the care of their animals with education promptly accessible. In the case of Puppe, my family immediately researched palm oil and have cut it out of our food purchases. When this pandemic ends and borders are reopened we are buying year round passes.

I love a good zoo and this was certainly a memorable experience. I'll keep adding pictures here. Very large place. I had set aside an entire day and that certainly was not enough. They seemed very clean. The animals I came across seemed happy and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. To help people getting about there is also a transport facility available.

I went to here a few times with my family and it's quite fun. A couple of years ago when I was younger, I attended a summer camp here and it was quite enjoying. You basically get exclusive access to the park and you get to see things you normally can't as a normal guest. It's also nice being at the zoo early in the morning as there's practically no one there and it's quite if you're in your early teens and younger.

Wonderful and clean Zoo. But found that the amount of walking involved was stressful, washrooms seemed far between as well as food without VERY long line ups. Enjoyed the knowledgeable signs and tours available. Happy to see so many endangered species being taken care of so well.

Always a great time with the kids. My young ones really enjoy the large splash pad and kids area. You definitely need to bring a stroller or wagon because there is a lot of walking between animals. It’s almost impossible to see everything in one day so it’s best to plan before hand the animals you want to see There is also a carousel which my kids love!

(Translated by Google) I didn't like it. This is somewhere the 7th zoo in Canada, which had to visit and is currently the worst. The distances between the zones are huge, the animals are relatively small .. half of the cages at the time of our visit why not work. Parking is paid, and this at such a ticket price! In general, not bad, but compared to even the zoo grandby, which is 500 km in Quebec - much worse. Imho, even worse than the Kiev Zoo: / (Original)

We saw just a few animals and some squirrels that we can see everywhere. Decorations in my neighborhood is much better than their decorations. It is a shame that they are selling tickets for such an awful place

Great for kids. Went over the summer and for Halloween. Lots of animals to see. The splash park is so much fun during the summer. Would be so worth getting a season pass if it weren't for covid. The zoo is huge and there is so much to see and do that it would be good to split it up with a few days. If you try to do everything in a day, you will be exhausted! Be prepared for a lot of walking. Wear comfy shoes. Bring you kids strollers but if you forget then they also offer some for rent. During covid, we tried the drive-thru and we barely saw any animals. Mostly just saw trees. Would not recommend it. Terre Lumina is the most amazing light show I have ever seen and highly recommend it! It is so beautiful and mesmerizing. Overall this is a great place to visit if you have younger kids!

This is the best zoo I have ever been to. We are members. They care about the animals, and the place is huge and well kept. This is the #1 place that we have missed the most with the pandemic closures. So we continue to check their youtube and instagram posts. I really hope they get enough support through all this. I highly recommend them. My 3 year old has had her moments of tears missing the zoo and wanting to go again.

  • 5/5 Tammy L. 3 years ago on Google
a day in nice weather to explore because it is a large area to cover. If you are traveling with kids or older folks, there is a train ride for people who do not like to walk. The gorillas and monkeys were a highlight for me, very expressive and intelligent creatures. The pandas are featured for a reason, it's a unique sight. And the big cats are impressive. The areas mimic the animals natural environments, not small cages. They seem well taken care of and in good health. Worth the trip.

  • 5/5 Frank V. 3 years ago on Google
Okay, this normally would get 5 stars, but It's been months since our Pre-Covid visit. We went to the Zoo for the millionth time. Most kids in the Toronto area have been to the Metro Toronto Zoo either for a leisure visit or a school-educational visit. Most of my previous visits have been in the warmer months, but this visit was at the tail-end of the winter and just before they shut it down due to COVID 19 restrictions. The winter zoo experience differs from the warmer months in two ways. The animals that are typically outside, are now sequestered or indoors. A few animals that are from the more Northern climates can be found intermittently throughout the grounds. Secondly, there are much fewer people at the zoo. All of the indoor activities were still open, so there were plenty of opportunities to see many animals, in their as close to natural as possible environments. We were able to see animals from all over the world in many different environments. There was plenty of opportunity for animal education from the staff at the zoo. Hungry? Well, don't worry as the zoo has many options for eating. You will find typical fast food options like burgers, pizzas, fries, tenders etc. There are food trucks and other snacks like Poutine and Beaver tails as well as dessert options like Ice Cream. For the grown-ups, there are certain sit-down restaurants where you can get a beer, wine and cocktails. The zoo is a fun and educational stop, great for the whole family, in every season. Kep your eye out for Zoo offers on WagJag and other coupon sites and we got a really good price on discounted tickets for our visit.

My family and I go every year together and this year with the pandemic was no exception. We always have a great time and even though the inside exhibits were closed (because of Corona) it was still enjoyable. They had lifelike dinosaurs 🦖 all throughout the zoo and they were amazing. The staff were nice as always and they were all masked with sanitizer all over for you to use. Everyone social distance and we had a safe enjoyable time. I would definitely recommend this place.

We went for Halloween this year, and also went to check out the 2020 Zoo Lights. For both days, the zoo members were extremely helpful making sure my dad had a motor chair to get around the zoo. Everything was clean and everyone kept their masks on. The animal exhibits were great. We got to feed giraffes for about $10. The Zoo Lights were amazing. Tons of twinkling lights everywhere you looked. The outdoor cafes were serving limited food and drink options - definitely try the Bailey's hot chocolate. Yum. The parking lot was easy to get through - not a lot of cars with the way they are staggering people. Reservations are available online.

Beautiful lights display this year. Felt safe with Covid, as there's many reminder signs to wear a mask and social distance to 6 feet. Love the zoo! We get the annual pass with free parking and ability to bring guests. Love that we can bring food and drink in to save money as we sometimes visit 3 times a week. Started when kids were very young just for an hour and then gradually increased time as they got older, but never more than 3 hours at a time. Always arrived at open and were usually leaving when crowds coming in. Playgrounds, Hamil Family Zoo, sprinkler area were regular stops and we'd tackle different areas each visit. Went year round, even throughout winter as paths are clear of snow. This place was a savior to get kids and us out in fresh air, and we got to know certain animals and their personalities. Thank you for the annual pass option Brookfield Zoo!!

Been coming here since I was a little girl (when it was still called Atlantis). It’s become such a popular spot, with even more exhibits than when I first came. The staff is very friendly and informative. It’s also right on the water so it really adds to the aquatic theme. Had my sister’s first birthday here as well and it was magical! My all-time favorite aquarium/zoo, it’s definitely worth a long trip from Queens because there’s great restaurants & wineries nearby as well.

I had some time to kill in Riverhead so spent 90 minutes at the aquarium. Well worth it. Its not a large place, but there is a lot to do. The staff is caring and the animals and fish are well taken care of. A nice mixed of exhibits, shows and stations. Great for children and adults alike, I would recommend it!

  • 5/5 Andrea G. 3 years ago on Google
Very cute aquarium. I visited during the pandemic. You reserve an entrance time online so there’s not too many people. They also have clearly marked directions for the flow of pedestrian traffic. The shark exhibit is very nice. The River otter was very active. The sea Lion show is very cute. Good place to spend an hour or two.

  • 3/5 Rabindra S. 3 years ago on Google
Felt bad about the small penguin enclosure. They also rehabilitate injured animals which is a big thumbs up. I think, zoos should be more like sanctuaries and less like exhibition centers.

  • 2/5 Antoinette 3 years ago on Google
Love this aquarium but I don’t get the point of reserving spots in advance because of covid when they just let a massive amount of people in anyway. It was just as crowded as it was before “covid restrictions” which was really disappointing because my baby is to small for a mask so we had to avoid a lot of the exhibits because it was packed with people

  • 5/5 Mike B. 3 years ago on Google
Great for family and kids. Price includes sea lion shows. There's a butterfly room, mining adventure, otter feeding, penguin and monkey exhibit and boat tour. We saw that there now offer snorkeling and other outdoor activities but were closed the time we went. (We went in fall) . Can't wait to go back next summer!

  • 4/5 Danna G. 3 years ago on Google
I love going to the aquarium. As a matter of fact every time I visit a city that’s the very first thing I do , I visit the aquarium. The last time I’ve been here was 2 years ago and now this year. It is a wonderful place to be, the displays and the information is great. The sea lion show at the aquarium was pleasant. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 lots of stores are closed to the public. They did take all the precautions to insure safety. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the aquarium needs an upgrade and lots of things were closed off this time to the public.

Good place to bring your family during this pandemic just to have a breather. Social distancing is being practiced here, so be patient. When buying the tickets, they are sold in time slot. The aquarium is a bit on the smaller size, you can probably finish in 2 hours, unless you waited for all the shows and feeding. Some areas are outdoor, bring an umbrella or poncho if rain is expected. No on site parking. We parked on a residential street a block away. A bit pricey, you do get in for free a week prior and after your birthday.

  • 4/5 Heather L. 3 years ago on Google
It’s a cute little aquarium and when the weather is warmer and all the exhibits are open (and the pandemic slows down more), we’ll probably go back. But it’s still pandemic time and they really need to work on the safety measures here. The entrance was very crowded and there were no 6 foot markers or any staff member there to keep so many people from coming inside at once. It’s supposed to be reserved timed tickets and 25% capacity but it seemed like way more than that. There were arrows drawn all over the floors but not in a way that made sense and kept traffic flowing just in one direction, like the website said. At one point there were 3 different paths of arrows and we were so confused! We tried to stay away from other people but we still felt anxious being inside with so many people. I felt a bit duped because of the way the safety measures are described on the website and then seeing the reality of the situation. I really think they could be doing a better job of enforcing Covid safety protocols. Hopefully no one gets sick from going here.

It has gotten really pricey, 10.00 for a pretzel and soda? 20.00 to have a digital picture taken with a seal? The bird section is closed. If it wasn't for the fact they allow you in for free for your birthday, it really isn't worth the money.

It's kind of small but it has a nice entrance. Over priced for a small ~ half hour worth of entertainment. Maybe an hour if you see EVERYTHING and enjoy it as much as you. If you want an aquarium you're probably better off somewhere else but if you happen to be in the area and find a discount. Then its probably worth it

It is was wonderful to get out during the pandemic. You cannot go into the houses so during the winter the animals you can see are the ones used to cold weather. Had a great hamburger outside by the Wilderness exhibit. Remember, you need to go online to make a reservation for an arrival time. Addendum: Zoo is open again March 1

Love Brookfield Zoo. It is a nice outdoor activity. The buildings aren't open due to the pandemic. But it's something safe to do to get out of the house for a while. Signs regarding face masks and social distancing are posted. Bathrooms are kept clean.

  • 5/5 Norma I. 3 years ago on Google
We were there this past Wednesday, although you are not allowed in the buildings and some of the animals aren’t out because of weather my girls (4 & 9) really enjoyed the visit. There are hand sanitizer stands through out the zoo. The food court is open, a bit pricey of course but the food is pretty good. May I say I was super impressed the the women’s bathrooms by the south entrance have the little toilets and they even have a urinal for the little boys. I don’t have any boys but definitely a plus for moms who do.

I don't think its fair to mark down the zoo only because the buildings are closed. It is not their fault that covid regulations have to be put in place. They have extended the dinosaurs being around to help keep kids excited. If you want to go in the buildings, I suggest waiting until covid regulations allow. (:

Pretty much everything was not open the reptiles the monkeys the only thing that was open was the outdoor attractions yet they have the gift shops open so what's the point in closing everything except for the gift shops was there for maybe 30 minutes and then my son was bored out of his mind

Biggest & Best Zoo in the Chicagoland area. Call ahead to arrange for a wheelchair or other accomodations offered for those with special needs. On my visit, wheelchairs were provided free of charge in Fall 2018, but only if you called ahead of time to reserve them. Be sure to dress very warmly for the Winter Zoo Lights event. It can get pretty cold.

I have always loved coming here. The newest attraction if you haven't gone yet is the dinosaurs. They move and have sounds when you get close. Really fun for the kids. Just a side note if you plan too eat at one of the restaurants in the park order online way ahead ( found out they all closed unless you online order at certain times) Or just get the basics with the small food (pretzels, ice cream) and drink stands.

Haven't been here in 12 years and I have to say what an awesome experience. This zoo is very clean very friendly staff as well as amazing information. You can tell the animals have been taken care of great job Brookfield I will definitely be coming back possibly with a subscription. The day I was there they were giving the gorillas their covid vaccine so that area was closed I'm thinking it's probably going to be open now.

  • 5/5 Mary S. 2 years ago on Google
The zoo have nice and quaint zoo with a descent variety of animals and ample amounts of shade. The whole zoo will probably take you about two+ hours to go through, depending on how busy it is. The more people there are, the more time I would add. There are not many indoor exhibits so plan on being outside for the duration. Love how it feels like we're in the jungle. Definitely an awesome zoo with splash pad, food outlets, gift shop, variety of regional sections of wildlife.

Brookfield Zoo is great. It is close to main infrastructure, located equidistant from the city and suburbs, and is located on a large land parcel. Parking is convenient, specifically during the week. There is too much to do in one day, so we'll be back a few more times.

  • 5/5 Dustin B. 2 years ago on Google

We are members at Brookfield Zoo and the Family Plus membership has been a great deal. We go all the time and bring guests with us for free since you get a free guest each visit and 6 one time use tickets for guests if you invite more people. The kids love seeing all the animals and our favorite is the Living Coast.

  • 5/5 Laura J. 2 years ago on Google
My family and I use to have an annual membership, but as the children got older we.went less often. It felt good to be there again. My husband and I realized that the zoo is not just for the young it is educational and revitalizing for all ages. We renewed our membership and will be there often again.

This is my mom's favorite zoo. The kids loved it. Plan to spend the day here with lots of walking. We brought a wagon with lots of water bottles, snacks and a cooler full of lunch.

  • 4/5 Emily B. 2 years ago on Google
Wide selection of animals and the zoo is easy to navigate. Be prepared to walk at least a few miles. Wagons available to rent. You are allowed to bring your own wagon, food, snacks, and drinks. Prices are fair, if you plan to visit a few times it pays to get a membership. The zoo wasn't to crowded although I went on a 50 degree day in March. One of my complaints are several of the main walking paths are uneven, have broken asphalt, and some are even coned off for safety. Hopefully these will be repaired soon. The Living Coast with the penguins was my favorite. Plenty of interactive exhibits as you walk through. The Swamp was also very cool but I was disappointed they only had one crocodile and it was hard to see. Tropic World was fun as well as the bear wilderness which had a unique walk through path. The bears were still hibernating but they sleep right by the viewing glass so you can see them up close. I like how the zoo is divided into different areas and they all have names (as I've mentioned). The food and drink prices are a bit high so I recommend bringing your own. There are multiple picnic areas and playgrounds for the kids.

Brookfield zoo is always a good place to go to escape reality.. to wander.. to dawdle.. to have a picnic.. it's an amazing place.. it wasn't crowded today and even more enjoyable especially due to the way many people deal with masks.. we wear ours

I love the Brookfield zoo. Been going since i was a kid, so over 30 yrs. Things have changed, moved, improved over the years but it still holds the love of seeing all these wonderful animals every time.

  • 2/5 Monica G. 1 year ago on Google
Im so disappointed. You need to walk so far away from the entrance to see some animals. Very bad odors and not clean at all. I understand this is a wild animal but compared to another Zoo is not a good place to visit. Kids will be tired of long walk and almost empty big buildings. Im not sure about this Zoo. Save your money and time. Thanks

  • 5/5 jacob d. 1 year ago on Google
A trip to the zoo is exquisitely fun, a great experience for all ages. Dad's they have plenty of benches, cool animals to look at, and a beer at every other vendor. For the Mom's there is plenty of tasty treats! For the kids, endless fun and plenty to learn, I would reccomend the shows, it's a good way to keep a schedule and they tend to love it.

  • 5/5 Naresh V. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a huge zoo be prepared to spend at least 4 hours. Things to do: - Parking is 15$ I saw some people parking across the street. You can try that if you want to save 15$. But I was not sure how safe is it to park across street so I parked in parking lot by paying 15$. - I suggest you to take animal adventure ticket - once you take animal adventure ticket first cover wild encounter ( It is near South Gate near Ice age giants) - Ice age giants take 5 minutes to cover and it’s nice. - Right next to Ice age giants you can cover Dolphins in action which is the best of all 😊👌 - if you walk across the pond (Near North entrance) there is a small butterfly encounter which is ok. Kids might like it. With this you cover all the things mentioned in Animal adventure ticket. Then cover all the other attractions like Bears, Cats etc. Be prepared to walk for at least 15000 steps if you want to cover all. Thinks I like: - it’s a clean zoo - sanitization stations and restrooms you will see almost everywhere. - good parking space right next to entrance - whole day good adventure for kids. - Dolphin show was the best of all. - Good food but bit costly. Things I wish: - Entry fees was little bit high. But still affordable. - As zoo entry fees is costly I was expecting parking charge to be less. - I wish they provide zoo map at the ticket counter. - I wish there was a cart renting station so parents with kids can use it.

Higley recommend The Brookfield Zoo. We had an incredible time. There was so much to see. And my kids thoroughly enjoyed every second of seeing their favorite animals and walking through the buildings. Everything was very clean. They enjoyed soft pretzels and some other snacks and loved getting a few goodies in the gift shop!! We're definitely looking forward to coming back again.

We have an family annual pass. No wait for entry to the park. Friendly and knowledgeable staff if you have questions regarding animals. Food a little expensive but that is expected and overall good value for a zoo and very worth the price. Animals all seem in excellent health and are active and alert. Highly recommended!

  • 4/5 Andrea Victoria S. 1 year ago on Google
A hit or a miss with this Zoo. My kids love seeing all the animals, when they are out. On top of all the exhibits, they have 2 playgrounds and a splash pad when the weather is warm. I wish more people contributed to this amazing Zoo, to help the animals and increase attraction. Still good for walking and learning about wild life.

There is still a lot of construction happening, but it doesn't stop the zoo from being so much fun. I have been coming to this zoo for the better part of 30 years now, and it is still one of my favorite places to visit. Recommend bringing your own food and such cause the prices are a tad high. With that being said you will either have to bring the food around with you while you walk or bring a blanket for a picnic by the cars.

  • 5/5 Anna R. 7 months ago on Google
Such a fun time and great learning experience. The zoo is beautiful, clean, and not overcrowded. Plenty of play areas for kids, several cute photo spots, and several dining options. The birds being allowed to wander (especially the peacocks) was a fun surprise

Very large zoo in comparison to the one in my hometown back in Oregon. Unfortunately during our recent visit this week a handful of exhibits were unavailable due to the Heat or they're enclosure was being renovated or their animals were away for close monitoring. I would love to come back and visit again during a different time of year and when the enclosures are full.

  • 4/5 Jessica V. 7 months ago on Google
Our first visit to the BZoo was short due to the extreme summer heat, it was exhausting walking on the direct sunlight and we only get to see few animals before leaving. I’ll definitely try and go again but in a different season. The goats area was extremely clean, I saw a couple workers picking waste after the animals and kids were able to touch them and walk freely around them. I went as a guest with a family and didn’t pay for entrance but parking fee is around $20.

  • 3/5 Igor I. 7 months ago on Google
Overall Nice place to visit, but too many closed or on maintenance exhibits are closed, considering you pay a lot for entrance and parking, plus they want you to pay extra for some of the exhibits. For two adults and one kid we paid $100. I think better value would be visiting Lincoln Park Zoo, they have pretty much similar animals, and it's free.

  • 5/5 Nancy S. 7 months ago on Google
Haven't been to the Brookfield Zoo in years, but brought our granddaughters recently and bought a family membership. Looking forward to returning to see the animals we did not get to see this time around. Have always loved Brookfield Zoo!

  • 5/5 Joan Cristy M. 6 months ago on Google
Getting a membership is worth it if you like to go more than once a year. Since purchasing in early August, we’ve gone 3 times. Less pressure to see everything in one day and you’re able to bring guests too. Going in the late afternoon, it gets pretty empty and some bigger animals are more active. Goin when it opens, it’s not as hot and sometimes not too busy yet. Going on holidays like Easter or Labor Day weekend, wasn’t so busy.

  • 5/5 Mehmet Y. 6 months ago on Google
Fantastic Zoo, extremely well worth the visit. I’m so glad I stopped by on my pass through in Chicago. The Zoo compared to most I’ve visited across the world is extremely well organised, well staffed and exceptionally clean. The animals “look” happy, their enclosures are well kept and clean and the amenities in the Zoo are very good. Not the cheapest, especially for bits when inside (food, gifts etc) but hey; goes to a good cause right!?

  • 2/5 Daniel D. 6 months ago on Google
Go to Lincoln Zoo. Not worth the money! With parking was 75$, have been too plenty of free zoo's that were much better. But if money is not an issue for you like expensive things, was a decent zoo. Not a lot of animals, they are expanding the zoo along. Very kept up and nicely layer out, lots of walking tho! So bring a good pair of tennies

Such a huge area of Zoo that it gives you good walking exercise besides seeing some rare animals. We had taken our grand children to the Zoo and they enjoyed seeing animals for the n th time. We started with big cats, moved over to aquarium, then birds, okapi, giraffe and many more animals now difficult to even remember. Asked my grandson to write his experience of visiting the Zoo and he narrated the whole sequence of visits. Kudos to his memory.
