the grounds are beautiful, and the mexican art installation was magnificent. it was picnic-ready, complete with grills. a small, but expensive gift shop awaits in the visitor's center. lots of parking, and multiple events happening all at once.

Beautiful well maintained gardens. Everything is professionally identified and labeled. A wonderful hosta exhibit and lots of interesting trees including many old ones. While we were there there was an interesting artistic exhibit mixed in with the landscape.

Currently the gift shop is closed (no N/A rating available, so one star). Only the cafe is open. My understanding is it is under renovation and will return after chatting with some people in the building. The grounds are beautiful.

The entry fee was only $10 per vehicle. The elibrije scultures of fantastic beast displays brought a splash of color and is a must see.

The gardens are very well tended. The flowers are beautiful and it's peaceful for the most part. However, I wish they would tell some parents to stop their kids from jumping into the creek, running and screaming, and to not pick flowers, it's very disrespectful in my opinion.

Parts of the park were closed off for private events, still charged full price for entry. Staff on the golf carts were rude, honking at people on the walking paths.
