Had no idea this was here! What a fun place. Came for the air show. Lots of vendors. Helpful staff and volunteers. The kids had a great time. Very kid-friendly. Can't wait to go again next year.

Wonderful experience. Lots of airplanes which we can watch closely. Kids get to learn about and ride the airplanes. Watching the huge airplanes taking off and landing feels awesome.

It is a small museum, but full of things. Several decomissioned planes and training jets, as well as a few helicopters. The museum is in a hangar, but it is full of things like flight suits and some similating flying games for the kids. A nice hour or less visit for budding aviation enthusiasts. Free to enter. See everything from early dogfighting aircraft , to late 1950/60s era early jet fighter and trainers

A great museum with many exhibits. It is true that I was here during the air picnic of historic planes, but many exhibits are here permanently. A well-prepared didactic museum is extremely friendly, especially for the youngest. What more can I say, great place.

Good choice to spend a few hours in the weekend with the little ones for adults as well, looking what kind of technology they had and how could they fly the plains is really interesting. They don’t have any entrance fee but they accept donation.

Nice place to watch small craft, if you like that sort of thing. The Air Show was nice, and a great place for getting up close and personal. This was the 19th anniversary of their show.

The museum is small and informative. The nearby restaurant "Charlies" is pretty good too. Kids 8 to 80 will love it.

We really enjoyed our experience at the Museum. The people who operate the place are very friendly and knowledgeable. There are flight simulators and little airplane cars for the kiddies. We most enjoyed looking over the Army helicopter exhibit, the B-52 training boards, and the military aircraft on display outside. If you live in the SW of Chicago and enjoy aviation but not long drives, this is the place to visit!

We were there for "The Annual Cavalcade of planes" event this year. We had a great time outdoors with planes takeoff and land the entire time. There were a variety of food vendors with great options. There were also many stalls giving away freebies for kids. Not to mention vendors selling toys and other artisan stuff. Some vendors that only accepted cash but failed to explicitly advertise that. Parking at the venue was full shortly after the event started and everyone ended up parking in the Home Depot, Goodwill and Lowes lots. Overall the event was well organized.

Took my 6 year old daughter and we had a great time. Friendly greeting from a few members and they were there to give a lot of helpful information. We especially liked the flight simulators! We will be back again soon.

Went on a day they were having a big event. The docents were very knowledgeable, friendly, and excited to talk about all the exhibits. They had some very cool airplanes, models, and other exhibits.

Interesting, educational aviation museum in Bolingbrook, IL. The museum is only open for limited hours as it is staffed by volunteers. The staff was very helpful and friendly and were eager to ensure my visit was enjoyable. No entry charges, the museum operates on donations.

The Illinois Aviation Museum is a FANTASTIC place for kids of all ages and Families ! There is so much to see and do, and learn about Aviation and Aviation History, including interesting local Aviators and Aviation stories. I love the new additions of Aircraft, both military and civilian, and now they have a very cool video showing individuals who have been Friends of the Airport over the years and their fascinating stories. The staff are wonderful, and always have extra time to share with interested visitors, especially youth ! Clow Airport is a wonderful place filled with people who are passionate about Aviation and are always willing to share with others. See you on the Flightline ! -AZ

Participated in their yearly air show that is a great experience for the whole family! You get access directly to the airport field and are able to talk to the pilots of the aircraft before and after their flights. They have planes you can get I to for the kids to see the cock pit and play around. It's a great experience and fun for anybody who has any interest in flight.

If you like old planes and great conversation with pilots then go check this place out if you're looking for something to do different especially while we are experiencing this virus this is something you can do that is safe there is plenty of distance to keep yourself protected. They have a restaurant on site I will tell you the breakfast is pretty pretty good
