If your guide takes you there, kill him. I stayed one night. Shower stand and wash stand were broken so I had to shower with bucket. The food was the worst in Madagascar. Almost food was 16,000 ariari. The food looked good at first. But the stake was too tough to eat. Considering the price, it was terrible. Not considering the price, I am not gonna eat too much tough stake again. The restraunt does not turn on Wifi all the time. If they turn off you can not use Wifi even though you stay the hotel.

We were supposed to stay here as part of our tour. Check in went quickly, but the room we were given was dark, dirty and the toilet didn't have a seat. You don't want to look on top of the mosquito net.. We decided to move and luckily found a much nicer room in the Hotel Menabe. The owner of the Hotel Karibo refused to give a refund, but we moved anyway.

If you are looking for cold beer and good food welcome to Karibo (funny enough in Swahilli - Karibu is welcome) 40%European 60%Magalagy , fresh air, cool people, nice presentation of plates and well cooked. Flavors put together combined with good vibes and mix of languages on the move. No idea about the hotel but restaurant is very good, find Raza there a 19yr old guy that will treat you like a king. All the best, enjoy your trip. Pts... Ask for banana and ginger as a dessert ;)

Did a stop over on our way between Kirindy and Tsingy. Both times the food was fresh and delicious. Especially the BBQ shrimp with grilled vegetables was a sure winner. Clean toilets and friendly service, make this a really good stop. You can call ahead of time and place your order so that it's ready by the time you arrive.

Stayed here for one night on the way through but got to spend time enjoying the town. The rooms are clean and well kept. the beer is cold and the food is delicious. What else do you need to know. The staff and managers are helpful and accommodating, giving advise and instructions about the local area.

I absolutely LOVED the food and service here! And ask for Raza, fun, sweet and a great sport too! Some of the best Malagasy food I ate on my trip. We had the gambas tails, Malagasy chicken, Zebu steak and the red fish and none of those dishes disappointed! Also loved the bananas cooked in ginger and honey. Amazing spot!

What a crooks . Most of the menu is not available at the and ate spaghetti vegetable at 40.000 ar. Horrible overcooked. Terrible. There was no alternative because menabe was full and mad zebu closed for the night. Its one big maffia here and almost everything is absurd overpriced for the tourists. Do not feel welcome here.

Food is really good abviously for for tourist prices (4-5 Euros main course). We had two different rooms. The first one was pretty bad and the second one (with window to the back yard) was much better. Both had mosktio net and a fan. As it can happen in Madagascar the current water didn't work these days but there was enough water in the room. No Wifi. They have three turtels and rabbits in the back yard :) The guides are able to sleep there aswell that is why is often choosen. The service is ok.

Awful customer experience, would not recommend to eat here. For example I was opening the beer myself with a knife, as no one would do it otherwise. When trying to talk to waitress, she literally was saying ok and running away without listening what I would like to say :) Considering the prices here, they could provide at least some reasonable level of service for clients

Overpriced place Never go here. Drivers take you there because they get free food Not recommended In such a poor place they charge you 100 times more than anywhere else Even in the most remote places in Madagascar you dont pay that much

We wish our driver never brought us there. 38,000Ar for a tiny portion of food (3 gamba tails and a bit of vegetables) is a theft. Also rice portions are ridiculously small. Long list of juices and none available. We left immediately after eating as we were still hungry. Also the manager was a bit unpleasant and not willing to help.

Very expensive food, you'll see the desert menu but none of them are affordable, we have payed 40k Aryarya for a food that not cost more than 15k, I never suggest to go there
