Delicious!!!! There were several things on the menu I wanted to try if I had 7 stomachs. I went with the Kraken. Very very good! I like to eat, however I opted for the half sub. I probably could've finished a whole but may have felt it. Not like other sub shops where you could finish a whole and a side. Will definitely stop in if I ever make it back to Spartanburg!

Hands down best subs in the upstate. I live in Greenville and whenever I can, I drive down to Spartanburg for some monster subs. Amazing classic deli sandwiches too!

Just moved to the area and was lucky enough to found this place on day one. We have tried all of the speciality and signature sandwiches. Everything has been incredible and the staff has been very friendly as well as helpful when trying to decide what to try. Will definitely be back many more times!

This place gets the 3 F's. Fast, Friendly and Fresh. Called in a to-go order when I got there it was ready. The staff working were all nice. The sub sandwiches were some of the best we have had in the upstate. We can't wait to go back and try the other sandwiches they have.

You hungry? You better be, if you are going to eat at Monster Subs! This place is great. Huge sandwiches and plenty of other options too. I had the regular size sub, pictured below. That's after I ate almost half of it. So give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in today for the first time and they have Amazing food and extremely friendly customer service.. prices are very reasonable with large portions.. I order the Reuben,Cuban and Tuna.. everybody said their food was amazing.. I will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend stopping in and trying one of the many sandwiches they make!!

I LOVE their subs. The quality and amount of food for the price is amazing. Every time I've visited, I've been welcomed with great staff. Definitely a treat whenever I want a filling meal.

The only bad thing about the food here is that it makes every other sandwich taste worse by comparison. You’re paying for quality food with great portions. 10/10

Couple of things to know up front. The breads picked up from Charlotte and driven about 85 mi to both locations in the upstate. Next thing to know when they run out of bread they're done for the day, so get there early if you can. Better than Subway, better than Jersey Mike's. Still better than Firehouse too. You know those old hole in the walls that you hear your parents and grandparents talking about. This was a place at the look like the roof was ready to fall in but the food was always amazing. This is one of those places, except the roof is not falling in.

My only regret is that it took me 36 years of life to find this place. Holy cow what a delicious sandwich. Service was ultra friendly and way faster than I expected. This will be my go to lunch spot in Spartanburg no matter how tricky the parking may be.

Closest thing to an authentic New York deli around here by a long shot. I’ve tried the Kracken, Terminator, The Don, Capresse, Rueben, and Cuban. Hands down best sub around!! The owner came out and talked with me about our love of authentic pizza and Italian food. They are all from NY and NJ so they know how to do it right!! Had their red velvet cake and it was the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend you give them a try!!

The Kraken sangwich (yes, I said sangwich, as it should be said for this level of east coast chef’s-kiss delight), might very well be the best deli sub that has ever crossed my lips.

My husband saw reviews for this sub shop online and was convinced we needed to drive the 27 mins to give it a shot. Walking into the shop we were immediately excited about the decor and the personal collection of the shop owners! They had all sorts of collectible decor and random baubles. Their menu was full of delicious sounding options but I opted for a favorite which was the Kraken. Roast beef, turkey, jalapeño bacon, chipotle mayo, and cheddar cheese LOADED into a hoagie bun. Holy cow, it was delicious and had the perfect amount of kick! My husband got a meatball sub that was also packed with TWO rows of meatballs, marinara, cheese, and he enjoyed every bite! The owner surprised us with some mini cannolis and some famous Amos cookies for our little one. He was very generous and kind! He made us feel very welcome, as well as the other shop employees. It was a great experience and we will gladly eat there again! Don’t hesitate, just walk in and start ordering! You won’t be disappointed!

The shop is the real deal! The flavors were great and the portions were large. It's a small location, but it had enough tables to fit 12 people or so. I would love to try another sandwich and maybe a cannoli next time. The parking lot is awkward and messy - good luck getting in quickly or safely from any direction.

Freshly baked bread with made to order sandwiches. Reminds me of the deli markets from up north( Marylander here). Plenty of meat with the right amount of condiments. This place will give you a "Hero" / "Hoagie" fix with great customer service!!!

The subs are extremely good. If you work out and need a lot of protein, you won't miss your goal of you eat here. I got the chipotle chicken and its real grilled chicken, not that foamy stuff. When you buy a whole sub, they package it into 2 halves, so its easy to take one half home.

Our 1st visit... and we loved it! I had the teriyaki chicken, and my wife and son had ham and cheese. The atmosphere seems great, and service was quick. The sandwiches are huge too! I'm full!

I travel to Spatanburg about 2 times per month and I go to Monster Subs every time. Friendly staff, great subs with a great variety. Cool little Star Wars informational posters. Love the pickle option.

I had a half club and my husband had a half Philly cheesesteak, hands down the best we've ever had!! Staff is super friendly also!! We'll definitely be back!!

I'm a touring musician, who's favorite food on this Earth is Italian Subs. I've eaten more of them than Italy has over my 4 decade career, from sea to shining sea. Today, I tried Monster Subs. I have now journeyed to the pinnacle of Mount Munch. Absolutely a standing ovation. Holy Sheisse.

I took my neighbor here to grab lunch. He Loves the food. I had the Corned Beef and Pastrami with Swiss Cheese. There was 1/2 Lb of meat on it. They are moving from Blackstock Rd, to across from Ingles on the Westside. Worth the $ 8.00 that I paid for it. They even Cater.

Best place for GOOD sandwiches, and the BEST staff always nice and will do about anything for you, amazing food and people a MUST TRY!!!!

Fantastic food! 6 people in our group and not a complaint to be found. Quality ingredients and generous portions! Definitely worth stopping for.
