    While shopping for engagement and my own wedding ring, we sat down with Amber, the Raymore Kay’s store manager, and discussed financial payments and if it was doable to buy the rings that we got. While buying my ring for our wedding, Amber said that the ring would cost so much and we would be able to pay any time in the month. Amber lied to us. The reality was that the ring payment cost more and our due date was the beginning of the month. After about four and a half to five months of being married, we got a call from collections about all of the late fee’s and insufficient payments that we had been making. Amber put forth no effort and her assistant manager cleaned up her mess. We never saw nor heard that she took responsibility for her actions. On another note, her work space is very messy. If they didn’t have the tablets that they do have to keep track of the Wish Lists of each customer, she would be a total wreck. I think that she needs to leave and that she needs to learn a lesson or two about responsibility. On the subject of responsibility, if you have any kind of seizure disorder, I highly advise you to NOT to shop at this specific Kay Jeweler Store, because it has many cases that have flickering lights, similar to that of a strobe light. My wife has a seizure disorder and we can’t even go in together for fear of her having a seizure. If she unfortunately does, not only is it embarrassing to have a seizure in public, but also very dangerous and an extreme health hazard. Amber has done nothing to fix nor acknowledge it. I don’t like the way she runs her store, and she needs to start thinking about the welfare of her customers, not just what money she makes. The other side of this is that I don’t have a problem with Kay Jewelers. My wedding ring as well as my wife’s ring are both from the same location and the other employees have always been very caring, kind, and personable. All in all, I don’t have a problem with Kay’s, just Amber the store manager at the Raymore location.

    I took my gold bar necklace in to be repaired . Kays took the steps to process the repair. March 2021 . April 2022, still waiting for kays to find my necklace or fix the problem . I have been in contact with corporate Monthly, they keep passing the problem to someone else . Don't take your jewelry to Kay's unless you don't want to see it again.

    Dont trust your jewerly to be left at kays . You will never see it again . They took my jewelry and they have yet to locate my peice. I have been a long time customer with kays, who have made no attempts to fix The problem. I have talked to corporate on several ocations. They have yet to fix the problem . Dont trust kays with your jewerly.

    Kays has been a great place, untill a repair is needed . I trusted kays with my jewelry. Dont trust kays with your jewelry. Corporate keeps passing the torch onto the next person to solve the problem . Corporate dosent follow threw with what they say , how they will help . Cross your t's dot your i's. know who your working with . They allow thives to work for them . You'll never see your jewelry again .

    I just wanted to say thank you once again to the lovely ladies at the Kay jewelry in Raymore. We have made several purchases here over the years and they have always been such wonderful helpful ladies. We will always come back here for the experiences we have had. Thank you ladies. 😊

    I had the most amazing experience at Kay's Jewelers in Raymore MO this month! I needed to get a new setting for my solitaire diamond earrings! They are absolutely beautiful! Samantha, Sarah, and Carrol went ABOVE AND BEYOND and I couldn't be happier with end result!! I would encourage anyone who needs to buy new jewelry or get a repair, I highly recommend this store and especially the very positive experience I had with these beautiful ladies! They are ROCK stars!!

    Had a wonderful time shopping and browsing. The staff were magnificent, helpful, and oh so polite. I have been jewelry shopping at other jewelers and none of them compare to the hospitality and service I receive from Kay Jewelers.

    I was super impressed with this store and the representative I worked, Sarah. She worked above and beyond to make sure I received the best price for my purchase and picking out the perfect piece for my mom. The other representatives also seemed to show the same drive in helping their customers and I liked how you could really see the "family" camaraderie with the staff. I will definitely be back.

    Wonderful Time Shopping!!! I had a wonderful time shopping for me. The Store manager helped me find beautiful pieces. She got me a ton of info about the pieces and was very detailed about financing . I have been going to Kay's in Raymore for over one year and I always get the best service. I wanted to give a big thank you and I have a new favorite Jewelry store!

    They only reason they get a 3 star instead of a 1 is because there are multiple workers inside that are courteous and professional and I have had great service with them in the past! I wish I knew their names to give them the credit they deserve. However, I had a big issue yesterday (2/3/21) that I feel needs to be corrected! My fiancé wasn't feeling well but he told me to go ahead and pick up my ring I dropped off for repair. I thought I was going to be in and out! Nope! I walk in- no hello, hi, we will be with you, absolutely NO acknowledgment whatsoever! A guy was talking to a customer about vacation opportunities and a female was talking to a couple. I get they are helping people but in all the years I've worked customer service, you still give an acknowledgment! I've always been taught to ask- what brings you in today? It would've been a 5 minute- I'm here to pick up my ring. All they have to do is get the ring, sign and I go! But no- 25 mins later STILL no acknowledgement that I was there except the woman's eyes staring at me as if I'm planning to try to steal something! After 30 mins of no acknowledgement and my fiancé texting he needs to get home, I finally had to walk out without my ring. Now I have to find time to go back and try again! Absolutely ridiculous!

    The other night I went into this store to get my ring cleaned and look for something special for my daughter since my mother passed away recently and it was hard on my daughter. Allie asked one question and all of a sudden she went straight for something not in the showcase. It was a special necklace that she wanted to show me. The necklace had my mother's birthstone and my daughters. It was perfect. The whole time another wonderful lady working there was keeping my kiddos distracted by showing them what they liked. They loved it. This is the best experience I have ever had in a jewelry store and I am beyond grateful for those ladies working.

    Don’t trust this Kay’s ! Employees take your jewelry . Never has returned my item . Nor will they fix the problem . Thieves work with Kay’s

    I walked into the store about 10 minutes ago and after one of the associates walked past me 3 separate times she finally said “so sorry about your wait.” Nothing like, hi how are you, welcome, please look around while we finish up with our other customers. Just ignoring the fact that I’m standing here for 10 minutes before even acknowledging my presence. There are 3 associates in the store right now. I guess that’s the difference between customer service in Overland Park, KS and Raymore, MO. Oh my goodness, ANOTHER associate walked right past me, looked me in the eyes and did NOT acknowledge me. WOW. So glad the commission off all the jewelry my husband got for me went to the ladies at the Overland Park Kay Jewelers. You’re probably wondering, why are you in the Raymore Missouri Kay Jewelers if it’s so horrible? Great question. I had to get gas and groceries at Sam’s and Kay is in the same parking lot; I’m due for an inspection on my wedding ring and thought, I’m here, this is convenient. Ha! I won’t even come back here for an inspection. Some friendly consumer advice… Window shop in Raymore (they will not earn your commission), PURCHASE at OAK PARK MALL.
