We went here for a late breakfast on the 4th of July. They were very busy but got us seated remarkably quickly. I ordered the usual for me bacon, eggs, and toast. I selected grits over hashbrowns, and that was a very good choice. Their grits are very tasty. It took a while for the food to arrive, but that was understandable with the packed restaurant. My wife got the biscuits and gravy omelet and loved it. She gave me a bite or two, and maybe that will be what I will order next time, it was quite good. Friendly wait staff, very good food, we will return.

Jimmy’s Egg is everything you hoped ihop & dennys would be. First off it’s clean, dining room & restroom. Which tells me management takes pride in cleanliness. Service with waiter J R to table was fast & friendly. It is open until 2pm. They even make a keto bowl. Large selection. I highly recommend this place & will be back for sure. I would like to see keto biscuits or toast added to menu.

I have to admit, it looks very good. However, the taste/ quality of the hashbrowns and grits just disappoints badly. So bad I stopped eating just to write the review. The cold crunch to every bite was nothing I wanted to ever encounter again, I thought maybe dousing it in hot sauce would relieve me but I was wrong.I gave it 3 stars because this has to be the best bacon I have ever had, but that is unfortunately it.

My father and I just happened to pass by and saw this on the way to our destination. Glad we stop and went in because it was amazing. The classic egg Benedict was perfect and the 55+ pancake breakfast was amazing as well. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed it. It was semi packed and didn't take long to serve it. Total with a berry waffle and two orange juice was $38.

Spotted this restaurant one day while in Temple. I figured it would be mediocre food, but I was very wrong. Our waitress was very nice, the menu had many options. Reasonable priced and very clean. It was delicious, I got the cinnamon roll pancakes. Would definitely recommend, we went on a Sunday about 11:30am and it wasn’t too packed. I’ve been passed it before and it’s been packed. If you are looking for a nice breakfast spot give this place a visit.

While the inside of the diner had a boring view to it and the food being disappointingly bland, the service from our waiter was great and the portion to price ratio for the food should be praised!

We're from Florida and were passing through, found this place online. What a great find! Very good coffee, great bacon, awesome variety on the menu, reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious, if we're ever through again, we'll definitely be back. Wish we had once locally, this is a way better choice than Denny's or IHOP, give it a try!

Excellent food and great service. It was a little bit of a wait for the food but totally worth the wait. We all got delicious breakfasts and our son got a burger and said it was the best burger he ever had. This will be our new breakfast place.

Carnitas Queso Skillet was tasty. We also had some waffles, eggs and hash browns. Everything tasted good but wasn't really hot enough when it came to the table. Service was great, hopefully the food temp was just a fluke and not common. Lots of options on the menu.

First time going. Setting was like if Dennys and Waffle House had a baby and named it Jimmys Eggs. Kitchen was out in the open so that was cool cause I’m weird like that. Service wasn’t the best. No two min check back, not once did I get a refill, and the whole time she was hanging out talking to a guest at the bar chairs. Other servers were working hard though I will credit that. My table was pre bussed but by another server, who also had to tell my server I was ready for the check. Food wasn’t all that. Diced ham wasn’t the highest quality and lots of chewy pieces I didn’t eat. Also the potatoes needed another two mins of cooking. Some were still hard and crunchy in the center. Cleanliness was there. No dirty tables left around, I could see and watch the clean kitchen. So that’s why overall there’s four stars. My server 1 star, food would be a 4 but the pre frozen meats drop it to a solid 3. Cleanliness 5. Other servers 5. Wish the best for them overall also I think I could really juice up the menu if they were just a little more creative. How do you have burgers and waffles but no waffle burger? Tell Jimmy to hit me up for more ideas.

their omelettes are absolutely delicious! sides are delicious too, food in general is very well made. the staff is very sweet and the place is nice and cozy. i only have one negative comment: it’s a little common for tables to be left dirty and unclean, therefore leaving little space for one to sit.

Best place in town for a solid keto breakfast. Prices are right, portions are perfect, they have meaty side options, and they didn't skimp on quality. Why can't more places follow this example? To whoever owns this restaurant: don't change a thing. You got it right.

I get the classic eggs Benedict most every time because it's done perfectly. My girlfriend switches it up and has enjoyed every breakfast meal. Best breakfast place around! Haven't done lunch but the menu looks good. Great staff!!! Great prices!!!

Nice breakfast and lunch place. They have an excellent choice of dishes on the menu. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is very neat and tidy. This restaurant will definitely become one of my new favorites. Update: I tried the Country Benedict and it was delicious. Beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend.

Love this restaurant the food is delicious especially the country skillet, the food always comes out fast I personally never had to wait more than 10 minutes. The service there is outstanding never had a problem with there staff. Only con is the coffee it could be better I personally think it’s pretty watered down but it’s not a big deal.

I usually love this place, but they fell off today. It was 5 of us and the 4 hash browns were not cooked fully and were cold, My oatmeal and waffle were cold, and the bacon was also cold and rubbery. This experience was disappointing. But to give them the benefit of the doubt they were some what busy.

Stopped in while in town, we were looking for a unique place, not a chain, and ran across Jimmy's Egg.. we went in, and it was pretty busy, great sign! Ordered a Carmel iced coffee and proceeded to peruse the menu.. lots of really tasty offerings, I decided on a "skillet". With a side of pancakes. Boy was it alot of food! Good food, had enough for leftovers the next morning. Edit: Jimmy's Egg IS a chain! Just not 1 I have ever seen, but my 5 stars stands! Friendly waitstaff, good food. 👍 check it out!

Best breakfast I've had in a while. Double berry short stack with bacon 🥓 eggs🥚 and hashbrowns. Takeout via door dash, and it was delivered fresh and hot. Will definitely try again.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was good. My coffee was kept filled. Service and food were much much better than the last time we were in there.

All I do is go and pick up the food that I'm supposed to be delivering to customer but every time that I walk in there it's very busy and customer seem to like the food. I have not ever gone there to go and eat so I cannot tell you what their food places like but what I seen everybody likes it
