The food is super good here and i highly recommend.

Excellent service by Miles who is an asset to this company. The food was good, too. I had the crab cake platter. Kids had burgers. Others in my party had fish tacos. Sweet potato fries were yummy! The bread pudding was also good. Next time we’re in MD we will visit again.

We recognized this place as we were here 16 months ago. Our waitress recognized us ❤️. We had this meatballs as a meal, split with each other along with salad. Really good light lunch for us.

Perfect place for a late dinner. Great atmosphere, a new twist on the classic diner with farm fresh food, serving any diet restrictions, breakfast all day. Everyone was very friendly and the music is spot on! Will go back to try more menu items!

WOW WOW WOW. we where out of town and wanted somewhere to brunch and the first thing that caught our eye was the silver diner. We were waited on by Arthur! If you guys wants AMAZING service. Go see Arthur! He was superb with our first experience. He went above and beyond. He catered to the needs of my daughters and was kind enough to replace a meal that was missing something. This man deserves an award! If you’re reading this Arthur, keep being you. Keep making a difference in the lives of others. Management if your reading this. Give this man a raise! 👏🏼👏🏼

The service was great and food came out quick. We ordered the red, white, and blue french toast, meatless taco bowl, and the shrimp and watermelon salad. Everything was very fresh and delicious!

I love this location! All of the servers are very sweet and the food always comes promptly and exactly as ordered. I appreciate the halal meat options as well. I came yesterday with my girlfriend for a quick brunch before going to work in Arlington and usually I pay for my meal as I’m eating it so that we can leave whenever. Our server this time was Bryan. Usually I don’t pay attention too much to servers but this visit really peeved me so I had to say a something. Everything was fine until I asked for the check and wanted to pay, to which he responded I’ll be right back. He was chatting with his coworkers and helped another table numerous times, and when I tried to say something I’d always get I’ll be right back. At this point I was waiting 30 minutes to pay which was unacceptable. I love this location and their servers but I’ll be 100% avoiding Bryan as a server in the future no one should be waiting over 30 minutes to pay for a meal. I tipped him 25% regardless and left very upset. Other servers during the brunch service were phenomenal as we overheard and I feel very cheated that we didn’t receive the same. Nonetheless I’ll always come back even if this time the server wasn’t the best.

Very cool vibe. The decorations created an old dinner feel. The place was very clean. The menue had a wide selection of dishes. The server was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Very good experience.

Oh my goodness this place I went to with some girlfriends of mine last year in 2019. I tasted some of my girlfriend's wheat pancakes and they were delicious. I can't remember what the pancakes were made of but they taste so delicious with the toppings on it. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I meet.

Classic diner atmosphere with healthier, cleaner, fresher food! Had the Bay Benedict, which came with crab cake and fresh fruit. Boyfriend had Philly cheesesteak omelet, and we shared pancakes with real syrup. All perfect. Tea came in a huge mug with real honey on the side. Great service. Felt good and not heavy/greasy afterward. Operational jukebox machines at each table

Nice decor and good menu. The food was meh. The ohaca omelette was dry. The beans inside even more so. The sourdough toast was also very dry. They have juke box and controls on each table but you need a quarter to select the music. I wish I had one or two. Would have been fun. Nice place but I didn't like my breakfast unfortunately.

I visited this place a few days ago. I would definitely say don’t judge this book by its cover. On the surface, it looks like a regular diner; however I was wowed by the menu options. The presentation was great and the food was delicious 😋.

I'm in town for work and have eaten here twice and picked up Togo once! Their food and service are fantastic. I recommend you try everything. I wish we had one in Chattanooga, TN. I bet they have fantastic deserts, but the meals are too large to try.

Great dining experience. We received excellent service from Bryan today. He was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our order was taken in a timely manner. Food arrived hot and as ordered. Bryan followed up and refilled drinks. I highly recommend this Silver Diner location and ask for Bryan. He was a great and a solid 10 for service.

I think this was the worst trip to SD I have had. I don't know if the server was new, but he spent most of the time chatting with the other servers behind the counter. One of my party's soup was forgotten and then given to him at the end of the meal in a Togo container. I had to get up and find him to get a refill of drinks. I don't think I'll be back, though while the food was good I paid $4.99 for a side of roasted veggies that may have cost $1 at most.

Had a great dinner at Silver Diner…food was fantastic. Had a brand new server who was trying her best…and I’m not really penalizing her for being new, but she struggled more with the little things like when I asked for water…than she did when I asked about the menu. She’ll get better but it did affect my experience. Had the Blue Cheese burger and it was fantastic. If the fries had been piping hot, it would’ve been a 5star for sure. But they were just kinda warm. Not enough to ask for some fresh ones, but not hot. Would visit again.

I had a wonderful dining experience, that began from the host promptly getting me seated. My server, Cassandra was almost right behind the host. Cassandra was polite and knowledgeable. She was of tremendous help when it came to substituting food items on the menu. I was starving going into the restaurant, so I was quite impressed with how quickly my food was served. Overall, my experience was great!

The food and menu are top notched, you literally can have your hearts desire here! Quality farm fresh food cooked to perfection and tasty low calorie and Mediterranean food is available here too....Cleanliness is top priority here too, and in addition they offer hospital grade venting system to ensure customer health! They currently have 8 convenient locations, the one I went to is Greenbelt, which has an efficient and well run staff, none will disappoint..Atmosphere is fun too, set for the 1950's-1960's Diner experience, and includes a 25 cent jukebox in every booth....Of course they are a family restaurant and allow small birthday group celebrations too....Highly recommend this for both a solo adventure as well as an all out family experience, you won't be disappointed!

A good 15-20minute wait for my order is a usual estimate whether dining in or picking up. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Really unique stop on a road trip. Lots of vegetarian options and great southern specialties. Loved the old feel diner decor. I had crab cake mini entree as I was in Maryland and wanted something traditional. Very good quality and sides were delicious. Companion had she crab soup and succotash and enjoyed it very much.

This diner has Farm fresh vegetables and fresh fruit and Amish eggs from local farmers,I ordered a California healthy breakfast for me and some other things for my family that was delicious I recommend this place.

Saturday morning. It was crowded and I ended up sitting at the bar as I was solo and I didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for a table. The French toast was the best thing on my plate.

Probably the greatest service I’ve ever had; the server was absolutely incredible. She was so attentive to our table, ensuring everything was good and that we had everything we needed. Busy place; food is great tho so that explains why it’s so busy.

The food was great, very fresh and tasty. I put only 4 stars because we had a juice and a coffee part of the breakfast combo and even after asking few times we never got them . The atmosphere was ok but Micheal Jackson playing on a loop was too much for an early morning

Silver Diner is a DC-area institution for a reason. The quaint, 50s-style diner atmosphere belies the high-quality, cheffy food and tastefully curated selections that lie within, not to mention a good selection of wines. We typically come for breakfast or lunch, but this time we were very glad we came for dinner, with numerous enticing selections. Our server, Breanna, was excellent and attentive. The food, as always, was first-rate. A note to Chef Ype: please, please, please add the seasonal Creekstone meatballs and papardelle to the regular menu! Fantastic!

This place really is Phenomenal. Food was amazing tasting, very well plated, and the customer service: beyond exceptional. An older gentleman stopped at our table and let us know Miles (our waiter) was the best waiter in town, and our group of 11 can believe that after spending dinner here. He is an exceptional young man who takes his job seriously, professionally and is very well customer service oriented. Wishing him the absolute best things in life.

REALLY! Enjoyed our meal here. Food was good but the service was outstanding! Our server, Miles was extremely patient when we were indecisive about what to order. Having returned to the table several times, Miles always had a smile and pleasant demeanor. Miles carefully took our order with many many substitutions. Miles also went above and beyond to check the ingredients for our dietary restrictions. After asking several people Miles didn't tire until an answer was received. Miles was extremely patient, pleasant and personable. Highly recommend!

I came here to pick an online order ,the lady with shaved blonde hair just wasted my time for no reason. She just decided to shelve my order which was ready and right before her until she senses some agitation from me. They can do better please.

One good thing I can say. Is that during covid and at 10 pm. Not to many places got chicken soups. So this guy's had some. It wasn't the best. But hey when it's urgent something is better then nothing. Over all the soup i got about 1 month ago gets a 5 outta 10. But the burger i got 2 years ago gets a 6 outta 10.

When I tell you I was impressed and so was the wife and twins, it's an understatement. I had the chicken burger 🍔with mushroom sautéed onion 🌰cheddar cheese and mayo and it has to be the BEST chicken burger I have ever had. I started to drive back and get another one but I'm trying to lose weight lol The wife loved her Burger so much she had to call back and thank them and to our surprise the lady remembered her name. Went there with my mother and daughter. We enjoyed each other's company. My mother had the meatloaf which she enjoyed. My daughter enjoyed her hamburger with a healthy shake. I had the summer cod that wasn't very good. I've had it before at other locations and it was good. However, this time just wasn't any good.

This place offers wonderful service as well as tasty menu. The best restaurant in the city. The meals served rapidly and the prices were inexpensive. Highly recommended.

The Silver Diner - Greenbelt is a great place to eat. We were met by a member of their friendly staff who seated us. The waitress was very friendly and quick to get our drinks and take our orders. The food was cooked to perfection and delicious. I had the chicken pot pie which was great. The atmosphere was very peaceful and the restaurant was clean. It is a little pricey but very much worth it.

The wait staff argued about the eggs I ordered for well over 20 minutes. The curly-haired boy involved himself...and nobody was talking to him. The only time you should express to me about anything is on 3 occasions: 1. You're paying for my food; 2. You're eating my food that you paid for; or 3. I asked you what you thought. Since none of these things happened, that means I don't care what you think. Stop wasting my time talking to me about how many years you worked there. Why should I care? Have you worked there 48 years... because that's how old you need to be to have me listen to you because you're older than me. Be careful whom you try to disrespect before you have a health department review and investigation. And the next time you wanna argue do it before you get out of the backseat of your momma's car! Save that angst and put more care into.your work and maybe you can afford your own car next year! AND WITH ALL THAT KNOWLEDGE FOR DEBATING THE EGGS WERE THE ONLY PART OF MY MEAL THAT WAS WARM AND FRESH....SO THERE!!!! AND I CALLED YOUR LOCATION MULTIPLE TIMES AND GOT NO ANSWER!!!! It’s not often that you walk into an establishment greeted with a friendly smile but here you do! After being seated our server took the extra steps to ensure our orders were correct and to our satisfaction as well as ensure our kids had a great time with the jukebox’s (thanks Niki!). The managers came over multiple times to ensure our time was good. We highly recommend the silver diner!

I am happy for those who had a good meal at this diner. I was there on Monday and my breakfast was not good. I asked for my eggs to be easy over and they were cooked hard. I returned my coffee because it taste like hot water with milk. I ordered blue blueberries pancakes. They charged me a dollar extra for pancakes? I have never paid extra for blueberries. We had to return the bill because they didn't take off the water coffee. Will not be going to that location again.

This restaurant offers extraordinary service as well as enjoyable food. My favourite spot ever. The meals came out quick and the rates were fair. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Decent, yet Something is array, seems off in ways of a semi mall. Maybe the wide open spaces and the way people are zombies, going thru the motion of life without the sense of emotions or feelings, just floating slowly away from the everyday transition between real and not real. ..

Foods good

Really good and large menu selection, and food for the price. The service and Covid preparation are quite good here as well. I like eating here.

It's good. The home fries are nice. The mid century decor is part of the shtick, and is nicely done, adds good vibes. All in all, the food is about par with IHOP and Denny's, but the vibe is a bit better if you're into this sort of thing.

As always the food and service supersede my expectations.

I am a regular in Rockville however there is a disparity in Greenbelt. Go get a cup of coffee coffee is really good. and they tell me there is a wait to be seated no one is waiting except me they say seating is every other seat. Counter has seats no one is sitting there I asked can I be seated there they tell me no. it's like three people working behind the counter. I'm very disappointed between the difference of customer service PG County not what I'm used to in Montgomery County.

My dad and I visited Silver Diner for the first time and the food does not disappoint! We visited during lunchtime and their hostess Shayla was super nice and gave us great meal recommendations. Our waitress Cassandra was also very kind and attentive. Both ladies were very personable and made us feel right at home. We will definitely visit again in the future!
