Dinner on a Friday night around 8pm was initally busier but almost empty by the time we left at 930. We had 2 of the special Halloween drinks (The monster smash and Draculas blood). The drink were pretty good, a bit to sweet for one of us. We also split the special Elode flatbread, (pretty good) and the Cuban wrap with truffle fries. The cuban wrap was delicious! The truffle fries were crispy but not nearly enough truffle or parmesan. Overall a great place for dinner and drinks. I would recommend for sure!

Awesome local restaurant. Over two meals, my son and I had two great experiences. We tried two of the mac and cheese dishes and a burger. I had a local Bemidji Being Red X ale that I totally enjoyed. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Although this is a cool local bar with a friendly staff, only 3 stars. The food did not meet my expectation based on the description. I asked if I was mistaken when I read it on my friends phone. No paper menus so you have to scan the qr code. They tried to serve me my "haystack " but failed to bring what I expected. If I could give a separate rating for the FOH staff, they would get 5 STARS. I posted my receipt only because I was amazed at the price for my Tito's. My colleague picked up the tab for the meal. I would go back if I move here.

We were in Bemidji for a college graduation and stopped here for dinner one night. They have good music and a good vibe, fun spot to be in. I got the boneless wings which were very lightly breaded and coated in sauce (1/2 bbq/1/2 bourbon butter). The wings fresh, light and great, I would for sure order them again. My wife got a burger and fries, which she enjoyed. Good beer selection and good service.

We always have the best time at 209. Best happy hour in town, Jon is such a great waiter and the best bartender, buy him a shot to take with you and your friends! Highly recommend all flavors of the mojitos.

Love love loved this place. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and our waitress was awesome. The only disappointing part was the outdoor patio wasn't open. It was a beautiful night and we really wanted to sit outside.

The food is delicious. The fries are perfectly crisp and everything tastes good. Unfortunately, both times I've been here I've had a stomachache after eating a burger. Thought it was a fluke at first. Tasted good, but it didn't stay in my system long.

Ethan was our server, excellent! Food was top notch; cheese curds the literal best. Great choice in beers. One of the best run eating establishments that I have ever been in. Staff genuinely enjoyed one another & that transferred to their guests. Easily a clear first choice for a return to Bemidji.

Jon at the bar is super nice! My best friend and I have gone a couple of times and even though he didn’t know our names, he was still super happy to see us. It’s so nice to go somewhere and be greeted with such a wide smile and a happy demeanor. 🥰

Food tastes good but I don’t feel there’s much value for the money when ordering online. The portion sizes seem to lack in certain dishes and entrees, I got a steak salad and there was very little overall lettuce and steak. I feel ripped off a little, the taste makes up for it slightly I guess. Positive, the burger size is good and the fries on the side seemed reasonable.

Came here the other night with my husband and had a wonderful time. Our waitress Nile was fantastic and was very knowledgeable on the menu, and she was very kind. Looking forward to dining here again!

My husband and I went here for the first time, and I would like to start by saying if you are looking for a younger and in style type of bar this may be the place for you. It is cozy, comfortable, and the staff was EXTREMELY polite. We ordered a couple of burgers with fries, the burgers are pretty good, but the fries are what really sold the meal!! Our waitress was really good she was constantly making sure our glasses stayed full and the meal was good. If you're looking for good service and a really nice atmosphere I'd suggest Bar 209.

Had to wait 10 min before seating. The place was lively but not too crowded. Masks were voluntary. The lighting was dim as we proceeded through the entrance. The staff were friendly and ensured that our water was topped off. The truffle mushroom burger and truffle fries is what I ordered. It lacked flavor as I bit into it. The truffle fries stayed crispy as I finished my meal.

I got the pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. The pulled pork sandwich was salty with very little barbecue sauce. The onion ring batter was somewhat doughy with a dash of seasoned salt.

Seriously, love this place. Never disappoints. The ultimate patty melt + egg, lives up to its name! Truffle fries & onion rings are the best ever. Great decor & love the tunes. Plus Karisa killed it, thank you!

For 17 dollars, the steak tips were done well and tasty but overpriced for the amount you get, and the presentation (even for takeout) made me sad 😢. Walleye tacos were solid and so were the side of cheese curds.

209 is a great gem in Bemidji. The staff is wonderful to accommodate everyone at our table. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. It was more sweet with honey then hot. I would request jalapeno on sandwich for a kick.
