Beautiful lake view with drinks. Food wasn't that impressive.

They have a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the lake, which is a huge draw for our kids. Good burgers and actually really good gluten free pizza (Udi crust). Huge wine and beer list, and they do have cocktails. Huge children's meals, which come with a side and a drink. We always stop here at least once when we're in town.

Our favorite location for Green Mill, lake view... Was a nice romantic and relaxing dinner after coming to Bemidji for building materials. The lobster Mac n cheese was fabulous even with the shrimp substitution. Service is usually good, but never super fast. This location is always busy, and I'm sure they can't get an abundance of servers... Seems a global issue post COVID. HIGHLY recommend.

Location as awesome. We came just for the walleye sandwich. It was good not great. The cheese curds were not what I think of a cheese curd from the state fair. The bread they bring out is perfect for the birds outside.

This place has the best food ever!!! They were very fast even when they were busy!! This is definitely our go-to place once every week!! There chicken fettuccine is good!!! And always love. Their desserts and their cheese curds were amazing!!

I ordered the Lobster and Shrimp noodles. They were out of lobster and said they would double the shrimp. I got 3 shrimp … husband ordered burger and fries.. came with 10 fries. For the $20 per meal we would expect bigger portions. Higher note- the waitress that took the order was the same one that brought the food out and delivered the meal. If your hungry don’t plan to eat here… you’ll leave hungry!

Waiter was funny & friendly, even when explaining that they don't have any of the lobster options listed on the menu. Walleye sandwich had a few small bones, though someone else ordered a walleye dinner that had no bones. Overall the food was good (I filled up on bread and appetizers right away), plus looking out over the lake was nice.

Had a great dinner sitting on the patio and enjoyed an unbelievable sunset! Waitress was great, food was good.

I was going to give it a better review yesterday. When the bartender acts like you're a burden, kind of hard to give this place a higher review, which I think it deserves. I think the food is pretty good, most of the servers great, but today, I felt neglected and kind of brushed by. It was a 4 star yesterday and 1 today hence the 3. Just treat every person like they belong, whether they do in your eyes or not. If you just do the bare minimum, I'd be pretty happy. At least it was spotless.

I honestly haven't been here in years because I've never had great luck with the quality of food. My recent trip here was with coworkers and I decided to just try a Caeser salad. The salad was pretty good, a few bad leaves here and there, but over all pretty decent. Still not someplace I would choose on my own, but at least I know if I get stuck going with someone else there is something I can eat.

Came here for drinks and dinner with the family. Bar makes very good cocktails. Salads here are great. You have a great view of the lake and the staff is very friendly. Was going to do 4 stars because the food is a little blah but they make really good cocktails so they get the 5/5

I ordered a lobster mac and cheese and I got shrimp instead. Same with my soup, instead of beef and barley, I got tomato soup. In fairness, they were all good, it was just that I did not got what I ordered. Server were nice. The area is clean. Has nice views since its near the lake.

I needed to get out of the house and away and have someone else make me food. It's been a tough year. I hadn't considered the Mill, mostly because it's a factory-chain and I usually want to try something more indie, but I had a recommendation and a need. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a hotel restaurant that serves two rather large hotels, so they seem to have a lot of stuff down. I got an outdoor seat on the lakeside patio, and aside from being pelted by seed pods from a profligate tree, I had excellent service, a very nicely done walleye meal, and a tasty adult beverage. I also arrived early, so got a good seat. It filled up rather well by the time I was heading out which was pretty much dinner rush. Seems to be well-run, a good experience.

My grandparents drove over from Grand Rapids to have lunch with me. The waitress was excellent, the wait time was very reasonable for our food and the food itself was incredible! Love Green Mill. Would reccomend for anyone in the area!

Green Mill always has great food! I'd highly recommend the wild rice soup or the Chicago pizza. Their 4 cheese bacon burgers are fire as well. This place is amazing to eat at especially in the summer or fall getting a beautiful view off the lake.

Usually we get great service, and the food is great, but the last time we went the lady at the desk was quite rude. The waitresses were nice though. In the lounge section the music was too loud, we couldn't hear each other.

Green Mill has it all, fantastic food, views of Lake Bemidji, and service.

Service and food very good today. Hubby had a club, I had chicken fettuccine. Like that tables are not close together. Didn't hear other tables conversion, cozy feel.

Excellent Chicago style pizza, very good burgers. Best meal I've had in a long time - chicken parmesan with lobster in garlic sauce!!! Cheap at $17. Excellent staff -I are there 3 days in a row 🤣

The location is fantastic overseeing the water and the service is superb buy the food was a serious disappointment. We were both in the mood for pasta dishes. My wife got the three cheese chicken and rigatoni while I got the Fettucine Alfredo. The 3 cheese Chicken and Rigatoi was the most balanced and would have rated a great score with its fresher herb flavour and balance of cheese and nice mellow garlic undertone, except, as the photos show, it was very oily and greasy which made it unappetizing. The Fettuccine Alfredo was similarly greasy but was finished with raw garlic and had that metallic and harsh flavor raw garlic imparts. As you can see in the photos, there was grease left over on the plates after finishing and the pasta is oil glossy. The bread and soup sides were very nice however. They are supposedly known for their pizza and I sincerely hope it is better executed than their pasta. It has to me mentioned again, the atmosphere and service were fantastic and if I were staying in the area longer I would certainly give the rest of the me u a try to see if this was a one-off.

Haven’t eaten at Green Mill. All of the food brought back flavors that I missed. Lincoln was our server. He was terrific. Checked on us, made an effort to get to know us, and did so without hovering. Sat out on the patio overlooking the beach on Lake Bemidji. Everyone was enjoying good service, great food, and one another’s company.

Great customer service. I have dietary restrictions and the server went above and beyond to find out if different menu items were safe for me to eat! When there was a question about an item, the assistant manger came to my table to check my dietary needs. It was incredible. Green Mill is a new favorite!

Lovely restaurant with a spectacular patio and setting - right on a large section of lakeshore. Unfortunately it was too windy to sit outside when we were there. Our food was good and presented nicely. We have only been here once but this was our experience. ☺

Went in for an early supper on a Monday. It was well staffed (i worry about that on Mondays), The atmosphere is really nice. Great view of the lake from the patio and window tables. Food was good. I got a burger, but wish I would have tried a pizza. The ones that went by our table looked really good. We had the house margaritas and they were very good. Our server did a great job. It looked like the others were being very attentive also. Good experience overall. I recommend it.

Green Mill is a great place to grab some wings and nachos for lunch. The staff is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is chill vibes as you look out at Lake Bemidji. What are you waiting for? Go get some wings!

I had not been to a Green Mill restaurant since my days in Chicago. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The atmosphere was really good too. It had a Great "Vibe". The pizza we ordered did not measure up for such a good restaurant. To be fair, it was very busy. It is a higher end genre and the prices reflect this. Not overly priced. I will go back, and give it another try. It has the makings of a fun and vibrant eatery.

Had the coconut chicken fingers and a small Caesar salad, shared it with my friend it was enough for both of us. It was delicious 😋 and the bread they serve before the meal is also delicious! Our waitress was very nice and attentive, we were there early so nice and quiet

Food is very overpriced for quality and quantity, not to mention all steaks are gone,....and takes long time to get your food, even when there isn't many people there...

Good food and great patio. We had lunch here after biking on the Paul Bunyan trail. The patio is amazing with shade and a wonderful view of lake Bemidji. The food was good, we had a thin crust pizza and salads with some beer. The salads were very good and the pizza while not great was also pretty good.

Received the special for the day pizza and wings so I ordered before leaving work... I think everyone else in Bemidji did too, my goodness those folks were so darn busy!! Excellent customer service, the food was phenomenal. Had to wait a little bit but it was worth it!!

The food is good, but there are ZERO options for vegan or plant based diets! The prices are above average I would say. They are more like metropolitan prices. The service was good. The outdoor dining overlooking the lake was enjoyable. Just bring a jacket if you go in the evening because the cool air from the lake and the shade from the building in the evening make it kind of chilly.

I wish I had come here sooner, but I thought it was overrated. The pizza is really high quality with lots of cheese and really tasty sauce. The wings are really high quality with amazing sauce but the breading is a little lack luster. The employees are nice and to the point. I really enjoy how the interior looks with the amazing view of Lake Bemidji, it's just a shame that Minnesota law prevents indoor dining right now. Overall this place is great, and I would say it is almost worth the price tag.
