I worked for a week of out of the hotel while my son was in a local camp. The staff helped me rearrange my reservation and went an extra step to make my long stay more comfortable. The room was comfortable and the desk was plenty big enough for me to set up my laptop, dock, and a large monitor. The view of the lake from that side of the hotel is great and there is immediate access to the walking/bike path. I walked about 1.25 miles along the path to the downtown each night for dinner (a few really good places to eat). There's a small community beach a short walk away and there is a mini-golf being built about the same short distance. The breakfast was nice, there is plenty of room in the lobby to hang out (even with a larger group), there's a nice patio out back with plenty of seating, and the I used the hot tub in the pool area a couple times. I didn't try the gym, but they a little of everything you find in most basic hotel workout rooms.

Lovely new hotel, big breakfast in a sunny clean sitting area. Big area with multiple options to sit and chat in the lobby. Clean rooms with nice beds, pillows, sheets. Perhaps the best hotel coffee. Only downfall is the towels are too small and feel like sandpaper. Lots of rooms with gorgeous lake views.

Please be careful if you leave something behind in your room - they will get stolen. I forgot my son’s swimsuit and an apple computer charger when staying here for fun (I live 15 minutes away, north of town). I realized before I got home but by the time I returned to the hotel they “could not be found.” Something definitely going on there! Both were brand new!

I recommend this hotel!! Staff was friendly and the room was super clean. It is pet friendly and has a dog friendly bar attached. There is also a lake walk right behind the hotel that leads to a nice beach access.

Overall the place was great EXCEPT that old lady in the kitchen with tattoos who watches the guests and tells them what to do and what not to do. She almost got cussed out. Then she started in on another family and the lady told her she needed to be more respectful to people. Country inn should get rid of her because someone like that can be bad for their business. We pay to stay and enjoy the amenities and today me and family could not do that.

Spent two weeks here and had a wonderful experience! The staff were all friendly, hospitable, and very capable at their jobs. The staff are really the highlight of this hotel and you can tell management is doing great work. The hotel itself was clean, smelled fresh, and all the amenities worked as expected. The breakfast is good as far as continental style breakfasts go. It’s in a scenic, quiet location (for now, seems to be a bunch of development going in) and easy to get to, with a view of the lake from one side of the hotel. The rooms themselves are very nice with appropriate lighting, comfortable furniture (most importantly the bed!), and practical bathrooms. There is a restaurant attached for convenience. Highly recommend a stay here!

Just as long as your not in one of the dirty first floor rooms, this hotel is amazing. The views from the 3rd floor up are million dollar views as they say. Beautiful.

It was very nice! Breakfast is usually the best anywhere hands down; today however was out of milk , the oatmeal was overcooked. They were low and out of a lot of items at only 6:54 am. Breakfast was the main reason for picking this hotel; so that was disappointing. That’s the reason for 3 stars. However it was clean and beautiful def worth the price!

Having to deal/hear rude behavior first thing in the morning is not something anyone wants to deal with while on vacation, especially for the price of these rooms, but the two retired aged females working in breakfast could have not done it better. Not only to my family and I, but other guests as well. Huffing, sighing, and puffing loudly because they might of had to wait 30 seconds for a guest to get what they're eating and move on to the next thing. Sarcastic remarks towards guests when anyone had questions. Maybe they don't know that hotel breakfasts on a weekend are busy, or it's too much work for them...either way you still have to have basic simple manners towards paying guests. After that showdown, the food was barely warm as well. DO BETTER. 10/15/23

A nice, cozy hotel with a great view of the Lake Bemidji. The rooms were neat and well maintained and the hotel has a small pool and a spa. A decent breakfast with a good spread. It also has a Tavern next to it which makes it a great combination. A mile from the hotel, you get access to the downtown area and other attractions. The hotel staffs were very friendly and made our stay a good one!!!

Lighting in the room is dim. Carpet looks older. Very clean and quiet. Not a good view. Can see the roof n parking lot.

Brenda was the best. We showed up and our room was booked out two weeks out from Expedia. It was a hard time, we were up for my nephew's funeral. She made sure we had a room for our three night stay.

Dan made the experience a bust… came to see family I haven’t seen in forever with our new baby. Truly felt picked out and targeted by this old man. Everything else was very nice and professional but the rules were not enforced equally and we were unfairly picked out based on how we look. Thanks for making a good weekend bad Dan.

A great location! Right on the lake with great views. Enjoyed their famous waffles, they were so good! The doughnuts at breakfast were good too!

I had booked this location due to high reviews regarding pet friendly and accommodating.....however, after a several hour drive with our family of 2 dogs, we arrive to be told our room is NOT ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR next to the dog area BUT on the 4th floor and no ther rooms available. When I expressed concern , I was then told the 3rd party I booked the room was the one that had made the mistake by not letting them know we had dogs. Only to find out the next morning that the information was sent. Very, extremely disappointing with the whole experience. The only positive thing I would mention is that the lady at the checkout counter did waive the pet deposit, which was appreciated. I wish things had gone differently since we had to take our digs out at 1am and 3am from the 4th floor. I will not be using this location again.

Loved the view of the O shaped lake. One minor issue was it was summer time and our central air was stuck on Heat and it was hot, I'd fall asleep and wake up in pools of my own sweat. I could not smoke on the balcony. One upside was the many stores around you can spend a few hours hanging out at.

Very rude customer service, charged my account multiple times for the same reservation. I had to literally explain 5 times how they over charged me for the room and still got the run around from them. Hampton and double tree right next door are the better options. Pool room was a complete disaster with garbage in the pool, towels every where, couldn't find a staff in the evening for question. Save yourself the headache and get a room else where.

It is haunted... at least room 313... now I know it sounds crazy... but I was in the shower and felt what seemed like an extra set of hands helping me wash my hair.. initial freak out.. then the lights proceeded to go out on me.. obvs I scream... then heard a whistling noise from the room... I'm officially freaked out. Other than that nice hotel.

We wanted a mini getaway and needed a dog friendly hotel. This place was perfect for that with the trail right outside. We had a gorgeous lake view. It's located so close to both downtown and the local dog park that it was perfect for our needs. The woman in charge of the breakfast area was so friendly and efficient. The only small nuisance in a great trip was when we made sure to be out until lunch with the dogs so housekeeping could do their thing and they hadn't quite gotten there. I know they had at least one, maybe two bigger groups staying so it's possible they were dealing with room turnover or they deal with pet rooms differently, I am not sure.

We booked a king room with a lake view for two nights. The hotel overbooked and instead gave us a 2 queen room with a roof view. They refused to fix it or refund. The front desk person refused to take any responsibility. We won't let it ruin our romantic get away, but we certainly won't come back.

Very nice hotel. Located on the lake, with an impressive view. The room I received, which may have been an upgraded room, was clean, comfortable, had a great view, and more than I expected at the price. The attached restaurant is good. Service at the hotel was great. Breakfast was about average for Continental, but the open setting, natural light, and lake view were outstanding. Coffee was an area they could improve.

We had the most comfortable stay. The rooms are large and clean, very comfortable furniture. Very nice pool. Right on the lake. Staff is super helpful and friendly. One of the few pet friendly hotels in Bemidji. Definitely in my Top 3 of places I'd stay in town.

Stayed here 4 nights for my son's wedding. Everyone was very polite and friendly. Hotel was neat and clean, breakfast was good, attendants kept food refilled and area cleaned. One note, the tile floor outside the shower becomes very slippery, so please use the floor towel provided and I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We stayed there a couple days ago while visiting my Brother. It had a separate bedroom with King bed & door separating it from rest of room. Full huge bathroom. Kitchen counter with coffee maker & fridge. Separate living area with sofa, chair and TV. Very very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a king suite lake view. Our room was nice but the staff was outstanding, especially the breakfast hostess. She was very welcoming and ensuring that everyone had what they needed. She put a whole new meaning to "Minnesota Nice". We hope to be back in the area next year and will definitely stay here again.

We were guests during college graduation week, & we would definitely stay here again! The front desk team were all very helpful, friendly, & pleasant. Our rooms were clean & nice. The view of the lake was beautiful. And, their breakfasts are amazing!!! So many options to choose from. The Tavern, which is connected, was an added bonus if you wanted a cocktail or a bite to eat. All in all, a very nice place to stay!!!
