Very nice park and land mark. Beautiful view of the lake. Excellent playground to burn 🔥 up some energy from that long car 🚗 ride. Enjoy the history of Paul &Blue. Like & follow for more. 45 Million views and counting 😁 Thank you! Travel well.

The Visitor Center staff were so helpful in introducing us to the area and local attractions as well as history. A must stop especially if you have kids who will love the playground. Great location to stretch the legs as you walk around the lake.

Stopped here just to see Tall Paul and Babe, but found this lovely Visitor Center and park. The Visitor Center had closed just minutes before, but we took picture with the Bemidji Sign, and the park and lake. Nice playground and covered picnic pavilion. There is adequate parking, lots of green areas, and the big lake. A cold wind was coming off the water, so we did not stay long, but it was a pleasant place. Clean and well-cared for. Restrooms are in the Visitor Center building.

Iconic northern MN park to visit. There is an inclusive playground, tourist info...so cute inside with real bathrooms and lots of info about the community.. theater, trails, events etc. Rent paddle boats or kayaks from there too. Walk along the lake to BSU and keep walking to the next large and amazing Diamond Point Park. From this location it's easy to cross the street and grab a home made ice cream cone from Big River Scoops. A block away is the Paul Buysn Sub Shop..yum! Close to an amazing hot dog stand as well! Enjoy your time here!

Old MN lore brought to life, gotta stop and visit when you go by. Small gift shop on site as well. Good place to stretch your legs and see the lake.

This shore line park is the perfect environment for outdoor entertainment shows because the sound and visual quality is so so high. One of the best!

stopped on way home with my 2 year old to let him burn some energy and he had sooooooo much fun. Everything was pretty clean except all the goose poop all over the beach area but not much can do about that. My favorite thing was having CLEAN bathroom stalls in the visitor center so we could continue with potty training. Though the change table was not stocked with napkins and wish they had paper towels in addition to hand dryers. But we had a great time and would stop again!

The eyes of Paul Bunyan haunt me .... Kids liked it though! The playground behind it is definitely the best feature of this location, second is the mini museum for Paul Bunyan, which I honestly wish was a bit larger and more interactive. The statues are just kinda creepy .. four star rating though because of cleanliness and the fact that the kids absolutely love it. Just giving you my honest review and opinion.

Iconic MN tourist stop. I just stopped on my way home from Lake Bemidji & didn't stay long. There is a information building next to it. And beautiful lake behind with a nice park with equipment for the kids. There is a souvenir shop across the street that is kind of fun to look around.

If you’re stopping through or visiting Bemidji, this is a must stop location for family pictures. This area includes Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox, as well as a playground, visitors center, and great views of the lake. Ice cream shop is only 25 yards away.

We made sure to stop in Bemidji just to take a picture with Paul & his babe. These sculptures are well kept. You can tell that the city takes pride in them. The park next to the statues seemed clean & safe. We saw a lot of families having a great time. Even though it was after hours we were able to use the restroom in the visitors center near the statues which was nice.

Easy access and great location. Statues are well-maintained. Love the Bemidji sign also at the same park for a great photo-op. There are other statues as well, and a tourist info center with bikes to rent. Paul & Babe brought back childhood memories.

Very cool MN large legend and his ox. Worth it to see the large possessions he had that were not human sized. Fun park for the kiddos too.

These two definitely catch the eye as you drive through town. They're set in a nice little park with pretty views. We stopped by during a little snow storm, so we jumped out of the car, snapped a photo, and drive away. Nearby are some cool sculptures paying homage to indigenous peoples, so make sure to stop and see those. I'm sure if you came on a nicer day, this would be a good spot for a picnic.

Showed up in mid-August, height of warm season worth visiting up there and it was closed for construction. Concrete barriers blocked one of the only things to see in Bemidji. Why would they do that in the height of tourism season for the town's only worthwhile attraction? One reason: they know the other Paul Bunyan statues far outshine theirs. Nice parking lot though and public bathrooms. Painted lines were very nice. 10/10.

👍👍 I have a special place in my heart for the headwaters science center. They have a small selection of animals, some of which can be touched(with help from a volunteer). So many cool little exhibits where children can learn by play. I've come here periodically since I was a kid, many of the exhibits...
