We stayed with Mr Kha and his family for 3 nights last week. We had a room with ensuite on the first floor of the house. The ensuite was large and basic, but with piping hot water. In addition to accommodation, the services provided by Mr Kha and his family included tranfers to and from Ho Chi Minh City, and delicious and filling daily breakfast and dinners cooked by Mr Kha's wife, and occasionally his mother. Mr Kha's father maintains the large beautiful garden and surroundings. The homestay is located about 5 kilometres from Ben Tre, which can be accessed by bikes from the homestay or taxi. The family also offers a range of private tours, two of which we took. Our tour guide was Tuyan, a young woman, who was very knowledgable and most accommodating. When a low tide made it very difficult for our large boat to dock to enable us to board our full-day tour of the coconut plantations and factories along the Mekong and other tributaries, Tuyan and several members of Mr Kha's family ferried us on motor bike to various locations until a suitable docking place could be found. Our first trips on motor bikes since we were young, and they were good fun! The tour itself was excellent, providing insights into the coconut industry and the daily working lives of thousands of Vietnamese workers. Without doubt, our homestay with Mr Kha and his family, was a major highlight of our month's stay in Vietnam. We thoroughly recommend the homestay and Tuyen's tours.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights. The host & the family were really friendly & they cooked the best dinner we had during our trip in Vietnam. The location is super peaceful & comes with a huge & beautiful garden. There is fresh fruits you can pick from the trees. This is probably one of the best homestay in the Mekong delta area. I will hope to be back soon.

Wonderful homestay in the middle of beautiful gardens, fruit trees and ponds. Really friendly family takes care of you and greets you with fresh fruit from the garden and coconuts. New, clean and comfortable accommodation. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. It’s a relaxing spot.

One of the best homestays in town. This homestay may not be rustic like most are in Mekong, but it remains authentic and the family owning it is nice, friendly and attentive. The choice of rooms is diverse and the best thing is how clean they are! The dining area is over a pond surrounded by lots of vegetation and decorative plants. The value is excellent, worth the stay. I've been staying here myself multiple times over 2-3 years.

Not the most conventional review, so bear with me. My time in Ben Tre took a very unexpected turn, and I left feeling overwhelming gratitude for Mr. Kha and his family. The evening after arriving at the homestay, I was hit with a severe case of food poisoning. (This was 100% not caused by the food they served here, which was ample and delicious - I had already started feeling minor symptoms hours before check-in but chalked it up to exhaustion from being on the road.) As there were no taxis available, Mr. Kha drove me and my boyfriend to the ER himself at 2AM and continued checking in with us throughout my 30-hour stay at the hospital. Once back at the homestay, the family helped nurse me back to health with nourishing rice porridge, fresh coconut juice, and ginger tea. They arranged a car to bring me back to HCMC because I was too weak for motorbike travel and gave us fresh fruit from the garden to take home. Even the driver (friend of the family) did everything he could to make the ride comfortable for us. Everyone went above and beyond to treat us like two of their own, and it made all the difference in the world. I'll never forget their kindness. Beyond that, the homestay was wonderful and serene, surrounded by beautiful countryside that you can explore via the bicycles provided. Please treat yourself to this lovely experience - it's worth it.

Kha, Tu and the family were very friendly and made me feel welcome. Comfortable rooms, and a beautiful garden with lots of butterflies and flowers. The food was delicious, food for vegetarians too. The hosts will also help arrange the things you want to do while staying there. A very peaceful environment. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for two nights, and wish we'd stayed for longer! Such a beautiful place to relax in a hammock, or go for a bike ride exploring the lovely area. Really nice for a change of pace after being in busier, more touristy areas. Add to that the wonderfully friendly hosts and delicious dinners and breakfasts - please stay here, it's worth it!

You have to visit this place from a few reasons: 1. Such an amazing family, english speaking, warm welcome and deep conversations 2. Best food you will have(saying that after 3 viet weeks), also for vegans. 3. The place is in a Middle of a Jungle, enjoy the silence and you would love it. Rent a motorbike and travel

The homestay is amazingly charming! With all the trees, plants and sounds, you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, but with all the modern convinces. The host is very, very nice and you talk for hours with him. Highly, highly recommended!

Very nice place and kind owner in a beautiful environment. The taxi (car) has to take a detour, and it costs around 150k. Mototaxi takes a shorter route and it’s cheaper. :)

5 stars for the super nice and friendly family who run this place. We stayed in their 2 bedroom house with kids and had a good time. They cook delicious dinner and offer local boat tours in the river and nearby factories
