We
had
the
pleasure
of
experiencing
a
private
tour
of
the
mighty
Mekong
with
our
exceptional
host,
Hong.
Not
only
did
she
excel
in
sharing
her
knowledge
and
passion
for
the
region,
but
she
went
above
and
beyond
to
enhance
our
experience.
The
tour
was
private
which
allowed
us
to
fully
immerse
ourselves
in
the
breathtaking
natural
beauty
of
the
Mekong
Delta.
One
of
the
highlights
of
the
tour
was
the
transfer
to
a
paddle
boat
where
we
explored
the
narrower
waterways
and
get
up
close
to
the
lush
vegetation
and
charming
villages
long
the
river
banks.
Paddling
throught
the
serene
and
narrow
cannals
felt
like
stepping
into
a
different
world
where
tie
seemed
to
slow
down.
What
made
our
day
was
Hong's
thoughful
gesture
of
helping
us
order
dinner
at
a
hidden
restaurant
along
the
riverbank.
As
we
enjoyed
our
delicious
dinner
on
the
boat,
we
were
treated
to
a
mesmerising
sunset
over
the
Mekong
River.
The
tranquil
ambiance
and
the
changing
colours
of
of
the
sky
made
for
an
unforgettable
and
romantic
setting
(yes
with
our
two
tweens).
Hong's

to
details
and
flexibility
helped
to
create
such
a
memorable
experience.
