Worst experience ever. I went up to pay with my credit card, and the guy threw my credit card over the counter after payment; it was so disgraceful. Their food was average, and prices were high. They don't even deserve a single star. Their service was pathetic. I’m attaching the picture of the guy (i guess the owner) who threw my credit card.

We went during lunch one day and ordered thalis. Good food, although service was a bit slow. For six thalis, it cost us 1800, slightly more expensive than I expected. But it was very filling. Ambience was a standard family restaurant, nothing great but decent.

A nice restaurant that serves quality food in Varanasi town. Although the price is a bit more than other restaurants near by, the quality of the food and the cleanliness make up for it. We tried aloo Paratha and veg fried rice. An add-on of curd to fried rice cost us 80 rs. Other than this, everything was fine.

I think it's the one of the best restaurant in gowdhulia road. Dishes are very delicious and the behavior of the delivery boys are very good. I love this place. Itis near to Kashi Biswanath 2no. Gate. First food and south Indian items are also very well prepared.

Tried the Pani Puri of this place and found it very average. It was so packed that it was very difficult to find a place to eat. People were fighting for their turn so it was very difficult and frustrating to eat at such place.

This is a well-established and highly acclaimed vegetarian restaurant. We just had to try out their food. It is bustling, always busy, but people don't linger, so we found a table almost immediately. The décor is simple but not unpleasant. Despite being rushed, the waiters were surprisingly nice and patient with us when we couldn't decide on what to order. The menu is huge, including a variety of thalis, hence the indecision. We plumped for Paneer Butter Masala, with Tandoori Roti and Naan. The main dishes were freshly cooked, very tasty, and in quantity more than enough for two people. Prices are extremely kind on the pocket, A worthwhile food experience in Varanasi.

एक कहावत है ना ऊँची दुकान ओर फिकी पकवान... It is old shop of gaudwalia area.. after lockdown.. they increase all food item upto 30 to 40%... Being local of varanasi .. i know they looted outsider traveller.. price high but quality is low...

Run away this place! I never received my food and even saw a mouse under my table!!! After ordering a fruit lassi and a vegetarian shish kebab, I had to wait more than 10 minutes to receive my drink. After 20 minutes, I reminded my order to the waiter who didn't care at all. After 30 minutes, same for the 2nd and 3rd waiter who seemed like having fun of my situation. While impatiently craving for my food, I noticed something running under my table. What a shock seeing a mouse freely roaming in the restaurant! After 45 minutes I left because nonce of the waiters wared about my or my order, they didn't even pretend it! 🥤 Regarding the only thing I could try, because I never had the main course served, the fruit lassi: it was Varanasi style, meaning it's thicker and richer than the regular lassis. In addition, it's served in an earthen pot. Then sprinkled with slivered pistachios, rabri, and fruit purée. 💁🏽‍♂️💁🏽‍♀️ The personnel is very fast in taking the order and asking me 3 times if I want water, without ever serving it! I had to get up and get some water myself! It'd laugh if it was a joke... 🫰 The price for a lassi, can't judge anything else, was a little more expensive than the other places, but not excessively overpriced.

I visited this place twice, tried their dahi bhalle, which tasted good. Then I tried their tomato chaat, which I found pretty average in terms of taste, nothing special. Prices are high because it's located at a tourist place. You need to place your order at the counter, get the coupon and exchange it for the food at the live counter.

Almost 200 per person. Nice, clean, good sitting and great food. Service is slow but food was too good. South Indian food was surprise, Never thought they can give same taste as Bangalore or any South Indian place. Masala dosa was proper, not like we usually get with Samosa aaloo.

I tried Rava Masala Dosa which was very tasty and very well served. I had also tried basket chaat which was very yummy. You can try different types of chaats like basket chaat, kachori chaat etc. All are very good in taste and also at affordable price.

The attitude of the servers and the owners is as bad as thier food . I ordered a marwari thali and I guess it takes alott of art to make rhe food so below average. Ordered a kadi was given a dal which was barely edible. All the owner said ut once things are over you just get a substitute which could have been told earlier. A d then the overall experience and other things were just badly made in a hurry so not sure if one should come to this place or was it just me ..but never to be visited absolute crooks

Overall it is always satisfactory visiting here, they serve lip smacking and delectable food items and have really wide options to explore and choose from. Sometime you may find it really very crowdy but their service and staffs are really very generous and friendly, so they can instantly adjust and create some free space for you ❤️ You will never be disappointed with the taste and service here and that's why a lot of people have this as go-to option when they visit Dashashwamedh Ghat, the only problem which may arise is just the crowd and that too will be sorted within 5-10 minutes, so do visit here for sure and enjoy. ☺️

came here from Lonely Planet, and we were not disappointed! service was fast, place was full with locals and the food… oh my goodness it was delicious. the chole bhature exceeded expectations, as did the keshari dosa. the thali was great too, albeit nothing astounding. bear in mind portions are massive. great place!!!

Very clean and calm place in morning hours. Service is very good and food is delicious but can be improved. In the midst of the temple area, this is the best restaurant I found. Unfortunately they don't serve the coffee in the morning at the time of breakfast. So far not tried the lunch at this place.

If you are looking for Ghar ka khana keshari is the place for you. While travelling we miss home cooked food where this type of restaurants comes to the rescue. This is not a very fancy place but the quality of food was awesome. I went there with friends who have been customers for 10 years. We ordered masala paneer and roti. It was just the way we prepare at our home. Everything was to the point. The taste was not hampered with fancy stuff. Roti was made of wheat flour. So my purpose of going to that restaurant was fulfilled.

Good option if you are really hungry and would like to go for food of your own choice.. You will have to walk as it's on no entry area of Dasaswamegh Ghat approaching road. So be careful if you have a thought to visit this restaurant.. Otherwise.. Quite good service, enough occupancy potential, good food.

The food taste was bland and services were much too slow. Never ever order Shahi paneer at this restaurant. It was terrible. It was made in white gravy and was so sweet that it felt like a sweet dish.

Ordered food, was surprised by the fact that it was sickeningly sweet despite being savory dishes that we ordered. Waiter took my change without returning it for me to choose how much I want to tip. Food is extremely expensive and not good at all.

Delicious food at a reasonable rate. Families can enjoy a good spread over here. It is difficult to find a seat during rush hours and you may have to wait in queue outside.

It's oldest resturant of varanasi nearly 50 years and it's soo famous. The food is so fresh and basically famous for its dosa! Sometimes you have to wait due to high crowd.

Food is good, hygiene is good but so much chaos, not a systematic way of paying and taking your food. There is so much rush at food taking counter that you have to struggle to get your food as per their token. Need to change the system of taking food.

A nice place to grab our food all day. Nice lunch dinner and also different chats available. But the service is very poor. I have experienced this because I travelled here just on the start of sawaan month. Other months might have different scenario.

have been coming here since school days. it's best plus point is it's simple calm ambience and subtle soft nudges in it's seating arrangements & lightning. just a step away from hustle-bustle of the road next to it, like a calm pitstop. neither it's right on the busy road nor it's away from it, just the right mix. food & service is decent (nothing over extra-ordinary), but still nice. a lot of foreign tourists can routinely be seen here too, as they keep the premises quite clean & maintained. *has two floored seating.

Great experience, Very vast variety of "vyanjans" available here. Food quality is very good and tasty, Located in a bit crowded area, but space management is quite well in the restaurant above the ground floor. Service was good and quick, even after being tightly packed with customers. Would recommend to go for it once, if you're in the area and want to have decent food.

It was good place. Very large range of food is available there. Quality of food was good. Very rush is there so service is little bit slow. But everything is systematic. Things were not clumsy. You can enjoy with your family there. They had good dessert option. You can get faluda kulfi there and it is nice

Situated at a prime location, the eating joint could have been better if its service was prompt and courteous. Food items are nice but not as good as were expected. The space was managed adequately as the joint has been adjusted in a congested place. Overall upkeep and cleanliness were fair. Courtesy, prompt service and smart behaviour in the management and staff appeared not up to the mark.
