One of the oldest shop, famous for its kachauri and jalebi. Had to wait for the order but it was worth the wait. The shop sells food without onion and garlic (without compromising the taste), a win win for some people.

The best authentic Varanasi breakfast. Poori jalebis are awesome. You will find huge crowd here. Amazing and must have in thateri bazaar. The real banarasi vibes. Follow me @foodntraveltales24x7 on Instagram if you find my reviews helpful

It is one of the heritage shop of Varanasi serving Kachori since long time located in the narrow lanes near Kaal Bhairav Mandir. We went there for breakfast and have Kachori with Sabzi & Jalebi. Sabzi was bit more spicy than normal. Kachori was crispy & tasty if served hot. Jalebis were decent in taste. You have to walk to reach this place.

Absolutely recommended for Kachori lovers. Worth the hype that has been created recently. The Kachoris were really lip smacking. Every bit of the aaloo sabzi was full with flavours. The jalebi was crispy and good. The only problem is the huge crowd. The waiting time after mine number was minimum 40 minutes and you always have to struggle for a place to stand or sit while eating. They do have two shops, the one in main Street is a nightmare. You really have to fight your way to grab your Kachori. They do have to work on managing a huge crowd that they attract.

The most famous and authentic breakfast place of Varanasi!!! Very crowded but worth the wait!! Kachodi bhaji khoya jalebi is the must try dish here! They have choti kachodi which has potato filling. Badi kachodi is a mix of various daals and is super yummy. Bhaji is a mix of chole and potato gravy. In every bite of jalebi, the taste of khoya makes it super delicious and is crisy too. You cannot just miss this dish when in Varanasi ❤️

I dropped in here for breakfast to try out their special Kachori Sabji and jalebi. Definitely there was a wait and that too for half an hour. Once you pay they will give you a token number. Wait in the queue and then enjoy your hot and soft tasty kachori. The sabji was too tasty with chana and potatoes. Oh I loved it. But it's very congested. You need to find your space to stand and eat within the crowd.

Authentic Banaras breakfast of kachori sabji and jalebi is delicious and mouth watering. One of the oldest shops in heart of the cityThatheri Bazar, Chowk through narrow by lanes. Authentic banarasi flavours must try for all foodies. I was here with my friends for morning breakfast and we have tried kachori, sabji and jalebi for which the shop is famous for. All the food was very tasty , adequate ingredients used while preparing. Sabzi taste was also very yummy, kachori were hot piping served with fresh salad. Jalebi was crispy hot and adequate sweet and flavoursome. Overall it was a satisfactory experience, surely a must visit place to enjoy their delicacies when in Varanasi. Though shop is small it has few sitting places and some standing platform place where one keep the food while having it rather than holding in the hand

Kachori and jalebi are delicious here. This place is famous for a reason. Rush starts from the morning, but the system is really good. They will write down the order with your name and then call one by one once its gets ready. Everything is so fresh and tasty. Must visit if you are in Varanasi. It's very close to Kal Bhairav temple. Seating is a bit congested and less space to sit as compared to the crowd. If u pass inside the street walk u can see to much shop there is lassi and that is very tastyand beetel

Tasty Kachodi with chana aalu sabjee, must visit and try once in Varanasi. It is located in small gali of Varanasi and you may find it on way to Vishwanath temple from Gowdhuliya Chowk. The place is small and very limited seating capacity and lots of food lover in there standing in small congested gali of Varanasi and standing and eating once they get a chance to order and get their order......so be ready to wait, stand and then only eat it. If you are lucky you will get a seat or standing corner inside, else stand in congested gali and have the taste. Remember to be there as early as possible for this tasty breakfast because of lots of food lover there makes a chance for stock over and you might miss it. As we say that every good thing is difficult to get....so same applies here as well....good luck 😊👍👌

The Ram Bhandar is a popular eatery that you can expect to be crowded during peak hours. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and friendly. We ordered the kachori sabzi, and it did not disappoint. The sabzi was particularly delicious, and the kachori was perfectly crisp. Additionally, we also tried their jalebis, which were freshly made and had a satisfying crunch. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic street food experience. One thing to keep in mind when visiting The Ram Bhandar is that there is no seating available at the eatery of their own. Therefore, it's advisable to find a nearby place to sit and eat, especially during peak hours when the crowds are at their busiest. Nonetheless, the food is worth the extra effort, and it's a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic street food experience in the area

One of the must visit places when you are in Varanasi. Would be posting a review based on my experience. Please visit only if you are willing to wait for 45 minutes to a 1 hour only to get your order. Will highly recommend Kachori. ( Choti Kachori) You can simply order Choti Kachori. Jalebi for me is highly overrated not that special. Badi Kachori also just normal. But do visit this iconic place try to quickly get your turn registered and grab a choti Kachori and enjoy this little feast.

If you are planning to visit Varanasi, this place has to be on your bucket list. I visited them around 7AM in the morning and I have to say that it was a really unique experience. All I could see was a huge queue of people waiting to get a plate of their famous Sabzi Kachori. After waiting for almost an hour, I gave a shot to their Sabzi Kachori. The Kachori was crispy, flaky and prepared in desi ghee. Topped with sweet chutney, mint chutney and slices of radish, it was simply wonderful. They also serve Jalebis so one can also satisfy their sweet tooth. Happy eating.

Ram Bhandar is one of the most visited places in Varanasi if you are a food lover. The environment is great as well. You can start your day with delicious kachori and jalebi. It opens at 7:30 am to 12 pm. If you are planning a Varanasi tour then it's a perfect place for a headstart.

Authentic taste of Varanasi famous Kachori Sabji with Jalebi. This very small shop in Varanasi street and you’ll find long wait time but it’s all worth. Try to visit early morning so that you may ditch the crowd. Their breakfast time is 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and in evening you will get other snacking items.

This is a very famous Kachori and Jalebi shop in Kachori Gali of Varanashi. So I also visited this shop to buy kachori and Jalebi. A big crowded was there so had to wait for more than one hour for my number and got my order. But all big name fascination disappeared as soon as I had the first bite of Kachori Chole. There was no original taste, but only full of spices.. the whole day I had acidity and gastric problem...due to heavy spices in their chole. Jalebi was also very ordinary, even you can have better jalebi on your mohalla halvai shop. The price was also high, 2 kachori in 50 rupees only with some chole. You can get even better Cachori chole at any local street shop that too with Raiyta and Salad even at lesser price. Jalebi were at the price of Rs 400 per kg. That too with very high priced and really very disappointing taste. I couldn't understand why people go there.... just because of mouth publicity which dragged me too. .. just like a भेड़ चाल... Finally... this is just...ऊंची दुकान, फीके पकवान.... Very disappointing....👎👎👎👎

One of the oldest food joints serving good old banarasi food of kachori, chhole. We had one plate each of badi kachori (comes with chhole) and aloo/chhoti kachori (comes with kala chana), and jalebis for the two of us. The food was delicious, especially aloo kachoris, loved the flavours in them. Aloo kachoris are a must try here. Their stock mostly gets over by 11 am or so. It's better to plan the day accordingly. They are open only for breakfast, and they start at around 7.30 am. They don't have much seating place as it's a small shop, so make the best of the time and space 🙂

Good food but go only if you are ready to wait for atleast 30 minutes. You get equally good Bedmi/kachori at various other places in Varanasi. Also there is hardly any place to sit, so eating your food comfortably is out of question.

Ram Bhandar is one of the oldest shop in varanasi, they will let you salivate seeing there tasty food. Especially the breakfast that starts from 7:30 A.M and ends by 11:00 A.M. This shop is famous for its sabzi made of aloo, black chana and potatoes served with puri in the morning at time of breakfast. It will let you enjoy the authentic taste of good and tasty food. They also serve jalebi along with it (add ons). Added to it, once the breakfast gets over then they serve samosa, cutlet, and aloo tikki as per the choice you can also have it with chole subzi poured over it. There price is also economical i.e one samosa or cutlet with chole will cost around 45/- Rs only. Undoubtedly the taste is all that will force to eat more dishes over there. Just near the shop there is one lassi shop naming Raja Ram Lassi which serves you amazing lassi it was so tasty and it’s just on a walking distance from ram bhandar near to agrasan school. The lassi will cost 40/- Rs. Do visit must in those two outlets.

Ok Ok kachori Sabzi. sabzi in Kachori at Varanasi is all about Chane ki Sabzi (Black Gram) with white Radish , Potato . Bedmi poori was ok ok but not as per expectation. May be I have taste of Kachoris of Delhi . Hence, couldn’t develop taste bud for Varanasi Kachoris. Yes, Gulab Jamun was Yummmm and size was big and hot moth watering. They have 2 branches I see at Thatheri Bazar.

This place is around 400-500 mtrs from Sri kalabhairav mandir. Breakfast in the morning post temple visits will not disappoint you. Badi kachori n aloo tikki are too good. Hot Jalebi is must try. The ghee aroma in jalebis were sooo divine. Worth every penny.

We went there for breakfast, it was very crowded. But we got place outside to sit and eat. Even in that crowd the person taking the order had all orders written and on him mind too. He was given a call by the name when the order got ready. Food - it was very tasty, to all the places I tried Puri sabji in Varanasi this place had best Puri sabji and jaladi. It was fried in ghee and piping hot. The sabji had all the flavours that you can feel on every bit you take. Jalabi was very crispy, thin, and perfect sugary. The flavour of ghee was making it finger liking. The Puri was made up of suji and ata. We also tried their small kachori which was also very good, having a perfect balance of hing. Very good and very tasty. It has small sitting inside, people also enjoy it standing on road. There are many ram bhandar in Varanasi, auto wala very few people take you there, please follow Google maps to find original Ram Bhandar. It is mostly open in morning hours so plan it accordingly.

It was one of the best food I had in Varanasi it was great the taste of sabzi was amazing and just one plate is enough for an average adult. You must try Ram Bhandar, the only issue is reachability it's deep inside the city with shallow ally routes, and you'd get lost if you don't take help from the locals. We got lost multiple times in those lanes. You must hire a guide for these areas.

  • 5/5 Rahul D. 2 years ago on Google
The best Puri and Jalebi that I had in Varanasi. They are the most famous shop for their iconic breakfast and one have to register their name to taste the dish by visiting earlier in the morning. And the curry they give with the puri its delicious you can actually feel lots of ingredients in your mouth and the puri tastes Devine so it's a must visit place for breakfast when you are in Varanasi.

Amazing food if love to try some soulful food We tried - Badi kachori with sabji-Great choice to start your day in winter, Hot kachori with beautiful spiced sabji along with chat masala takes to another level. Choti kachori -khasta kachori with sabji along with chutney is a great combo. Hot jalebi- This is the best of the lot, we can have this every day. Crispy and perfect sweet will make your day. Gulab jamun- It was very basic dish nothing extra ordinary about this, we might get better option around the place.

I visited this place after almost 4 years with my brother. A lot has changed! It has become famous now and honestly, the whole token system has killed the vibe! The kachauris taste good though! Worth a visit:)

Food items are good but there is always a never ending queue. You have to wait for an hour just for one kachori. This much wait kills hunger & cravings 😢😢 As this is a very famous shop they should upgrade their management to deliver fast service.

Another must visit place at Banaras. It is close to Shri Kashi Kotwal Mandir (Shri Kaal Bhairav Mandir). One of the old food stuff outlet a small place famous for Kachoudi with Sabzi, Aalu Kachoudi and Ghee Jalebi.

The most important thing which I think everyone should mention is that The Ram Bhandar is OVERHYPED. You can get all the food items with taste at nearby shops. Also it is very overcrowded and you need to stand in line to buy something which I think is not worth it. And this hype is all just because of so-called social media influencers. There's not even a single item which I can say I liked here. You can get a very good kachori in local shops nearby. Will not recommend this to anyone as there is no worth in standing in line and getting something which doesn't have any taste.

  • 5/5 Sagar C. 4 months ago on Google
Worth the hype, the Puri sabji and jalebi is delicious indeed. Pocket friendly but you'll have to wait for sometime as it's always crowded but the wait is worth it

All the reviews are right - don't think, just go to this place to have the Authentic Varanasi Breakfast of Kachaudi-Sabzi-Jalebi. We went there twice, as the first time around 10:45 AM their stock of Kachaudi-Sabzi was empty... so we went there on our last day of the trip and it was totally worth, We ordered the Badi Kachaudi-Sabzi and a plate of Jalebi. Kachaudi is basically Hing Kachaudi without stuffing so easy to eat with the lip-smacking Aloo-Chana Sabzi. The food is prepared without Onion-Garlic and in Shuddh Desi Ghee. I could not believe how something so simple, can still be so delicious. There are few places to sit inside, but no matter when you will go - I bet it would be packed. So mostly people have to stand and eat. It's in a narrow lane right near the Kashi Vishwanathji Temple so people go to this place for breakfast, hence consider it a heavy rush. We went on a Tuesday and had to wait for 35 mins to get my order.

Head to one of Varanasi's oldest shops for a delicious and affordable breakfast, featuring Puri, Kachori Sabji, Jalebi, and more. Arrive early to savor the authentic breakfast, as it gets crowded after 8 a.m. The shop closes around 11 or 12 p.m., and there's a long queue for orders, so plan accordingly. If the queue is lengthy, they switch to a coupon system, but be prepared for a nearly 1-hour wait if you arrive after 8 a.m. Note that there are no seating arrangements for older individuals.

  • 5/5 Sourabh N. 10 months ago on Google
The most famous and authentic breakfast place of Varanasi!!! Jalebi is out of this world. And worth the wait!! Kachodi bhaji khoya jalebi is the must try dish here! Badi kachodi is a mix of various daals and is super yummy. Bhaji is a mix of chole and potato gravy. You cannot just miss this dish when in Varanasi.

  • 1/5 Ankur G. 1 year ago on Google
Worst taste and quality. This is nothing as compared to kachori and poori sabji you get in delhi or other states like rajasthan. They fry poori and kachori and jalebi in the same oil and thus all tastes are into one another. This is more of a hyped place, visited there are so many videos praising them on youtube but believe me they are all for content only. There is a long que no doubt and all are tourists who are unaware of the taste and are there just on basis of hyped info. Still if you want to try banaras ki poori, then at rs 20 a plate you can try at a poori stall opposite gate 4 of kashi mandir. You wont regret spending that money on that fairly decent taste.

  • 3/5 TravelbuffS 1 year ago on Google
Name big but not the taste. This place closes on or before 11am. There was a long waiting that atleast half hour required here. We tried their badi puri along with black chole and jalebi. However, taste was not worth the long wait. Just ok ok! There are better options available nearby. Also, choti kachori available here.

  • 5/5 Avinash K. 9 months ago on Google
Best allo kachori in varanasi. It's 300m walkable distance from main road, but it's worth it. Pure ghee food and taste is awesome. They charge 60rs per plate with 2 pieces of kachori. No garlic and no onion food. I love it!! Best for morning breakfast. It's better to visit before 10 as most of the shop close by time so there will be little rush in the gali.
