They served food around 12pm hence giving 2 stars else it was very average ordinary food. We ordered Dal fry, Mix Veg, Matar paneer and taste was okay. Tandoori roti was horrible looked like they made plenty in advance and were just giving as we ordered. Staff wasn't so helpful or kind. Over all go to have dinner when you run out of other options in Harishchandra ghat. Thanks 🙏👍

The food quality is very very bad had order matar paneer and mix veg it was so terrible could eat more than a spoonful. They need to change the chef at the earliest. The service and ambiance is okay.....n chappati is too tight ....I didn't recommend to anyone

dirty place and mousse were moving here there every where....when we complained about crockroach on our table then waiter shifted us another table....where crocockraoch were already present ....after that we complained to the manager about this....then manager started shouting on us and blaming that you brought this with yourself. we paid all the amount without having dinner worst experience kindly not visit this restaurant

These types of guest house and restaurants aur stealing white money. They don't have online payment because they hide their earnings and don't pay taxes. So these types of hotels must be licensed to get taxes. There was no bill for stay and food . They only asks for cash payment.govt.must look this matter.

I liked the special thali for only 200 and gives good amount of tasty food. One should try Garlic naan and some paneer dishes.

Sharing honest review for the restaurant:) Always high rating doesn't mean quality food and at best price. Recently I visited this place overpriced and test is not not good as they are charged. Also, it's in the basement you can't breath properly 😭. Because kitchen smoke spread in all restaurants. Totally waste of money 😞 Please don't go ........, Food test 1*

We stay in a hotel at Sonarpura whenever we visit Varanasi and Hotel Kashi is a everyday go to place for breakfast...the reason is simple...the food that they provide is delicious...

Owner was very rude in behavior,, when we had complnlained about roti and dall then ower told us we do not allow delhi personoin my restaurant.....we asked why...then he replied. Because delhi persons are over smart. Restaurant was serving used roti. I personally suggest not to visit this restrurant ever.

Gone with family and Had the worst experience. Ordered DAL Fry, Mixed Veg, and Kadhai Paneer DAL Fry was okay. In Mixed Veg 3 veggies were rotten like beans, parwal (in winter season no cauliflower and peas were used) they all together mixed with spices that gives worsen taste. In Kadhai Paneer, paneer was hard and smells like a hell. On complaining to the waiter, he says that all veggies and paneer are fresh. I asked where is the Manager, Manager seems to be hiding and saying to keep quit is rough manner. He didn't bother to take the issue seriously. The manager thought was I belong outside Varanasi and could do nothing, he was using rudely abusive words ( tum kuch nhi kr paoge) he says that I will snatch out your tongue. He seems like want to fight with him. very rude He was worried of other customers, says to leave out. I was thinking that the Manager is like that, then How could be the food and management seems to be good ? Very Bad Experience Actually the Hotel is in the main road, running customer is present. Price of the Food is High as compared to other restaurant present in this locality.

The food quality is very bad as well as staff's behaviour are also ruined but Food cost is higher than others. I will not suggest to anyone to visit there for Dinner, Lunch or Breakfast. Even Hotel owner's behaviour is also not good, And he is not taking money via Digital mode.

This is a tiny budget restaurant located in the heart of Varanasi tourist district at Sonarpura junction, The place is tiny, but the food is great, I had a plain Thali, the rice, dal and vegetables were great, I didn't quite like the Rotis, and the Curd served was sour. Just to add, I prefer rice over rotis, the Paneer were the freshest, you can also ask for Jain food (without onion and Garlic). The pricing I would say was reasonable. After finishing off the lunch head to Amma Pappa Lassi on the same street for some heathy and tasty dessert of Lassi. Budget for 2: ₹300-400

Ashok restaurant's owner is rude to its customer because his staff uses abusive language with its customers ,and the owner who is a bald person at the cash counter supports them. MY FAMILY ORDERED FULL FLEDGE FOOD ITEMS which were not upto the mark ,and he considered that oreder of 2500 for 8 ppl with childern very less. He disregarded us and became ready to fight when we asked for fare bill. Kindly avoid going to his restaurant becaue there are many good as compared to his restaurant I came to know about many while staying in Varanasi for 2 days.
